Residence Inn Springfield Chicopee

This was the best night I’ve spent away from home in a long time. They hit all the right notes from the kind & considerate check in experience to the clean, quiet, well designed & appointed room with wifi & breakfast option, the usual pool and exercise choices but best of all– an outdoor half court to shoot baskets before breakfast! Really, who does that? Awesome!

Very very nice large room– salt water pool –cool lobby– overall wonderful & quiet… the bed & pillows did not seem up to Marriott par… the shower was unreal– large and great water pressure. I definitely recommend this place!!!

Yes its a chain. And I generally dont give chains more than 3 stars. But sometimes you just have to.
This is a new hotel, as in less than a year old. Its a new building. New parking lot. New everything. The rooms are large. Mine had a real fridge in it, which was great as I had a whole cooler of things. Lots of room in the fridge/​freezer.
Large flat screen tv that swiveled for wherever you were in the lagre space, on the coach, in the kitchen or on the bed. You really could see it from wherever. There was a desk (real one) with a nice ergonomic chair, and a table for two as well. The couch was large and reasonably comfortable, although did not spend much time on it.
Bathrooms had nice water pressure with both showers and a full bath if you prefer.
There was a fire pit thing which people were using. A salt water pool. Those are the best.
Checkin was pleasant and easy. My room was VERY far from the elevator, which was annoying, but other than that, this is a great hotel.
Right on rt 33, near a supermarket if you need one, a Walmart is close by, and a mall with a bunch of food and other store options.

The hotel is brand-​new and looks it! I really like the outdoor patio area with gas fire pit!
The pool and hot tub are indoor and kept clean.
I surprised to see a little outdoor basketball court also!
Like all Marriott brands the beds are the most in the industry.
Complimentary Wi-​fi & breakfast is always a plus !!!
