Favorite sub sandwiches I’ve ever had! I usually get their turkey with provolone. Their bread it what really makes them incredible though. I go here often even though I have to go to the other side of town.

Best place to get a sandwich in town!!! The pastrami is amazing. The service is fast and friendly. Only gripe is that it should be open 24hrs.

The Sub Station in Chico is by far my favorite sandwhich shop in the area. Great service and perfect for a quick and delicious lunch. Every time I come in its super busy and the vibes are above the roof in amazing. Great location and delicious food. The chili is fireeeeeeeeee(scrumdilumptious). The music makes the experience even more exhilarating. Classic tunes to a classic lunch.

The owner runs a really great sandwich shop! The bread is homemade and delicious. Always friendly service. There is usually a line because, well, it’s great food but it goes pretty quick!

This is a great sandwich shop in Chico, they are a small shop and if you are new to town you might not hear about them. The sandwiches are delicious, and very filling! Make sure you try the pastrami sandwich and you wont regret it.

Average priced: $ 5.99-$ 7.79 per sandwich. They also offer hot dogs, various salads, and«other goodies». The salads are fairly big, and the bread they use is delicious! So fresh. Very cute place. Recommend for a quick lunch.

Sub Station is awesome! If you ask Eric, the proprietor of the shop, how good the pastrami is, he’ll tell you that«he’s been accused of having the best(pastrami) in town», and it’s no joke. Small town vibe where the staff will know you by name and sandwich after only visiting a few times. TOP3SUBS: 1) Pastrami 2) Calbriese 3) Tri-tip withvspicy pastrami juice. Personal I do avoid their chicken subs, just not my flavor.

I have been a patron at Sub Station for 15 years. The business has changed ownership over the years but the sandwiches have not seemed to suffer. I love the fresh baked bread they use on all their sandwiches and hot dogs. For ten years I used to get a turkey, cheese, and bacon sandwich. About five years ago I branched out and tried their«Buddy Dog». It’s a Polish dog with cheese and bacon on their fresh baked bread. Now I crave those dogs! I know hot dogs don’t sound that exciting but if you try one you will be a new fan.

I’ve since been back, and am updating my review. The service was MUCH quicker this time around, even with a good number of people in it. Thanks SubStation!

This place has the best sandwiches around. The pastrami is so good and don’t forget to ask for a cup of the juice they cook the pastrami in so you can dip. Soooo good and the people are really nice. The tuna is good too and good tuna is hard to find. Highly recommend this place.

Love this place. I think I tried my first«sub» style sandwich here as a kid. Its another local landmark that has been in business for decades for a good reason — good food and good service. The bread is toasted perfectly every time and the pastrami is my favorite sandwich. A previous reviewer mentioned their ‘taco sandwich” style and I think its the best quality of the sub. It can get messy if you aren’t careful but if you order«upside down» it helps keep things in order(although it negatively affects the asthetics of the sandwich IMO). They have a huge variety of sandwiches(around 25) if you like to experiment.

ABSOLUTEBESTSANDWICHEVER! I moved out of Chico approx. 15 years ago. Each time I come home to visit family, we always make a trip to Sub-Station. I cannot go to Chico without buying a sub. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place.

Had lunch there yesterday and as always, their hot pastrami sandwich is the best. The homemade rolls they make the sandwiches on are wonderful and really make the sandwich. Although theres always a line, it goes very fast, service is great and staff is extremely friendly. I love substation on Park Ave. and will keep going back.

I eat at both locations; the one on Park and the one at the airport. Both are very good. The staff are friendly and the service is prompt. I typically get the Rueben, and it is always good.

There are just too many places around town with California style submarine sandwiches. I like Sub-Station precisely because it serves an east coast style sub. Be sure to try the specialty subs like meatball and tri-tip. The portions are good, the bread is nice and totally different than anything else in town. Plus the prices are fair. Enjoy!
