$ 1 off coconut drink check-in special. Not a huge fan of coconut, but a friend ordered it and loved it so I gave it to him to use. Way way way better than one of the Chico Starbucks in my book. If I come back to the area, this will be my coffee shop.

I’ve been here a few times. Ok, quite a lot. I’ve also been to at least twenty other Peet’s cafes over the last 15+ years. Peet’s quality has never failed me which is why I am such a loyal customer. I am ecstatic when I find another coffee company that delights as much… it isn’t often. Service here has always been friendly. Actually a little more so than I am used to at other Peet’s. The space is high-ceilinged and well-lit with plenty of natural light. Tables outdoors too.

I love this Peet’s store. The baristas here are all so kind, they greet everyone with goegeous smiles, and they are skilled at preparing drinks. I have never received a drink here that is anything less than supremely delectable. My favorite is the maple latte! I unfortunately do not live in Chico, but when I come here, this is always the first place I visit! Thank you Peet’s, for putting joy in my life! :)

I come here at least once a week on my way to work, today I get my usual, blended mocha. It has the consistency of water! No ice nothing. I am not happy and looks like I’m switching coffee places! Waste of $ 5. It tastes like watered down coffee.

The employees were very nice, but for my first time trying Peet’s, I did not enjoy the coffee. I had gotten the sea salt caramel mocha, I tasted NO caramel, lots of salt, and bland, unsweetened coffee. Maybe I’m used to having coffee with my creamer, but I was not impressed. I added much more honey, milk, sugar and chocolate powder to finally get the taste I desired. I will go back to try another drink since everyone speaks so highly of Peet’s, but I am hesitant.

I have been a Saturday morning regular of Peet’s for more than 5 years now and I wouldn’t imagine going anywhere else to kickstart my weekend. The great people watching is what lured me in in the first place. Not only is there ample outdoor seating, but there are two walls of windows lined with bar height seats. It’s in a great location for a Saturday morning… so close to the Farmer’s Market! The coffee and tea is always great quality, and the baristas are very attentive. I never feel like I have gotten sub par service here. Occasionally they will have deals on freddos or other specialty drinks, but their prices are very very reasonable. Prices are similar to Starbucks, but the quality is far beyond. I cringe any time someone wants to meet up for coffee anywhere else!

Favorite spot for coffee in Chico. Yes, some of the local coffee shops are delicious, but let’s be honest — Peets is the best coffee ever. Of all time. Great downtown corner location with plenty of meters around. For the 10 years that I’ve been going there, they’ve always had friendly staff and delicious coffee. Super clean inside, clean restroom, great atmosphere, and the outside seating is the best.

I only came for the Matcha tea and it was nothing short of heavenly. The baroque music in the background, the calm atmosphere, and the convenient location in Downtown Chico makes me want to come back for more.

My favorite non-local chai tea. Their chai mix is spicy and a large non-fat chai is only 4WW points+ vs 7 points for a small @ Starbucks! The staff is always friendly & quick, wifi is free, and the patio is a perfect place to spend the afternoon people watching.

Don’t let the grumpy old gal ruin your Peets experience like she did mine. I was happy to see a senior citizen working in our favorite coffee spot until she took our order. Acted like she was bothered and walked away when I started to give my order and made a rude comment about doing ‘two things at a time’. Obviously hates her job!

I love Peet’s and am really pleased that Chico has one in such a convenient location in downtown Chico! My morning coffee that I brew myself is whole beans I purchase from Peet’s, so I am always pleased when I get to go to Peet’s. My boyfriend had a 2 for 1 card and took me to Peet’s! I ordered the chocolate and caramel fredo. If you are a chocolate and caramel lover, this is the best coffee ever. Go all out and have it with whole milk and whip cream. Everybody deserves a treat once in awhile, right? The shop is clean, there is plenty of space to sit and not be too close to others, and the feel is classy yet laid back. They have some nice outdoor seating as well, so you can enjoy your coffee, have great conversation, and people watch!

Chico’s single Peet’s location is located downtown and in a great location. They’re coffee/tea is good and the porch is an excellent people watching spot.

Pete’s is good, it def does the job and keeps me awake. Coffee is dark and strong. It almost taste burnt, I think I’m more of a starbucks girl. They serve drinks here in real glasses love that! look for the cashier liz coffee and tell her that her sister diane says hi!

Sometimes I try and separate my reviews into two pieces. Sometimes this makes sense and in this case I considered it. Why? Coffee: In the land of chain coffee houses Peets is one of the most overblown in the nation. It perpetuates the theory that if you buy bad beans and burn them by over-roasting and tell everyone they are gourmet then everyone will think its good. See, the beans are dark so they must be full bodied… Anyhow, you get my drift. I’m a coffee-holic who has downed more than his share of nuked Folgers so you’ll understand my distress that Peets is the only cup of coffee that I’ve ever thrown away without finishing it was so bad. Tea: Oddly enough, Peets has a great selection of tea… that they brew well… I buy it to drink at home along with the two varieties I trek to chinatown in SF to get. They have boring pastries. So drink tea and walk across the street to buy bagels or pastries.

You can’t ask for much more from a Peet’s. The coffee is good, and the service is friendly. I’m not a coffee snob, but I did spend time as a barista, and know a decent cuppa, they always do the job!

My favorite coffee place in Chico(after living here for 25 years). Consistently outstanding coffee! Other places down town have inconsistent coffee quality. I hate to get back to my desk, or worse yet, 15 miles down the road, and discover I have a terrible cup of coffee. Peets is ALWAYS great!
