Went here for Valentin’s day and it was a big let down and ripoff. This place was delicious in the past but this day they increased the prices, included 18% gratuity and skimped on the food. In a normal day you get fried rice cooked on the grill in front of you but this Valentine’s Day they gave you fried rice in a bowl that was cold before the chef even came out to cook our food. The chef we got used no seasoned butter on the food. It just was not worth the money since they skimped on multiple different things.

I’ve only been here once so far, but comparing it to other hibachi places I’ve been to, this is definitely my favorite. Their fried rice… Best ever. Their salmon was perfectly cooked, yet not dry which is hard to find with hibachi. I love their veggies, and the soup and salad that come with it are good too. I’m already planning my next trip back because it was that good. Not to mention, one «dinner» here lasted me 3 meals total. Which is a good bang for your buck!

Disappointed. I guess all of the positive reviews on here are lies. Unilocal let me down again. The agedashi is abysmal and flavorless. The pork ramen is a bowl of insanely hot sadness that isn’t worth the money. Service sucked. I was just one guy, my food went to two tables before they gave it to me. I don’t mean they carried it next to them, I mean they placed it on the table to serve it to them and got it wrong. There were only four seated tables in the place! It’s like they were showing the other customers my food and saying, «check it out, we’re gonna give this crap to that guy over there isn’t that funny? You gotta see the face he makes.»
I also got my appetizer after my entrée. Which is just…
Not coming back. Not recommending.

Food was excellent, but the service was not. The cook was fun, and very entertaining, and did a great job. The server didn’t get our order right for appetizers, and we were very irritated that because the fact that it was valentine’s day, they charged a mandatory gratuity for only 4 of us. We tipped the cook personally, because he was great, but in no way did the server deserve a 25 dollar tip. Talk about ridiculous! Then on top of that, the server threw us 2 dollars for not giving us all of our appetizers, what a slap in the face! Not a way to run a restaurant or any business if you ask me.
