This place is a hidden gem, literally. Located down a residential side-​street you would never even know it was there. However, once you enter the driveway and see the plethora of classic cars and hot rods, you will know you are in the right place.
I had some suspension work done on my VW Jetta (lowering springs, new shocks). While the specialty is mainly classic automobiles, the owner Jeff is happy to work on pretty much anything. The service is straight forward and honest, price is fair, and if you have any interest in the classics this is the place to be as the owner is a walking encyclopedia of classic rides. Even if you aren’t really into classic cars you may leave this place an enthusiast, beware Jeff’s enthusiasm is contagious and you may find yourself making plans for building a custom Model-​A Ford with a fuel injected engine for your daily commute. Nor-​Cal Rod’s and Rides’ specializes in general repair, body work, customization (as in my case) and full blown restoration’s.
I just picked up a used Audi S5 and am looking forward to getting my transmission and differential service done here! If you love your car, you will love this place, its a gearheads paradise.
