Excellent job done by this company. I had them move all the big items from my house when I moved recently. It was super hot that day, and these guys did not let that slow them down one bit. They took excellent care to move things properly and did a great job. Super nice guys that I would recommend to anyone. I hope you guys are ready to move me again in 4 months to my new house! Great guys, great service. They had my entire one bedroom loaded, driven across town, and unloaded in about 3 hours. Guys were friendly, careful with my things, and considerate of myself and my neighbors on either end. Easiest move I’ve ever made. I will definitely be using Murdock’s again!

I hired Neacail to move a very heavy treadmill for me. He was a little behind schedule, but he let me know… not an issue. He and John arrived and moved this behemoth without a single chance of even a slight scuff on the walls. After the job was done, due to being a little late, Neacail insisted on reducing the fee he’d quoted me — which was completely reasonable to begin with. His great attitude and obvious work ethic… with a focus on customer service were undeniable. I will hire Neacail again for sure. Great job!

Murdock’s did a fantastic job for us. We arrived at our new home with a full SUV, U-​Haul truck and trailer. Neacail and John arrived before we shut down the truck engine and worked tirelessly to unload it all. My husband was outside by the truck telling them what room to take boxes and furniture to and they just kept at it until it was finished. Several times hubby said put the items in one place and when I wanted them in a different room the guys cheerfully complied. We were tired from packing, loading and driving and having Murdock’s do the unloading for such a great price was just a great experience for us.

Necail and John were awesome! I needed help moving my parents from their 3 bedroom home in Paradise to Sacramento but I didn’t have details on the move until about 3 days before. Necail held the time slot open for me which worked perfectly. He attended to details like remembering small furniture components and putting them somewhere safe so I could find them on the other end. They worked super fast and were friendly and professional. I even forgot to mention a few items that needed to be loaded and they calmly managed to sort out how to get them on the truck. They didn’t close up the truck until we had done a thorough walk-​through of the house. They are terrific! Moving is a real pain but these guys made it smooth and easy. Definitely call them for any moving or hauling you need to do. Price was also very reasonable.

I cannot express how thankful I am. He came out the day before Easter to haul away junk that was on our patio and in the garage. He apologized for being late even though to was only 4 or 5 minutes after the scheduled time (I considered him on time), and got to work immediately.
He was quick with clearing out the junk on the patio and in the garage. It filled up his hauler, and took him less than an hour. It would have easily taken me 5x longer to do it on my own. At the end, he asked us there was anything else that needed to be tossed, and did a walk through to make sure I was the one saying there was nothing else left to throw away.
He was very professional and kind, and the price really was adorable. I know who I’ll call if I ever need anything hauled.

I had the pleasure of engaging Neacail’s services a few weeks ago – he helped me load a U-​Haul truck for my move to San Diego. His absolutely stellar ratings on Unilocal!are well deserved. He responded to my inquiry promptly, and we scheduled a date/​time for his assistance. He arrived precisely at the agreed upon time and, working together, we efficiently accomplished the task in far less time than I had originally estimated. The price was more than fair, and he was professional in every way. There is no question that I would call on him again should I ever need loading, hauling, or moving services in the future. Murdock’s Affordable Hauling should be your first choice when you are seeking hauling services. I applaud Neacail’s entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen, and focus on customer service. As other reviewers have noted, you will not be disappointed in any way!

I bought a couch, a chaise lounge, and an armchair up in Paradise and had no way to get them down to Chico where I live. I called Murdock’s and 2 days later they went and picked it up (I didn’t have to meet them, they just got it for me) and brought it down. They were incredibly reasonably priced (especially compared to other movers in town) and very friendly and professional. I would 100% recommend using them!

Just stellar. Prompt and professional and all with a great attitude! Called Murdock’s when another company cancelled on me at the last minute and having just been cancelled on himself, Necail was there in 20 minutes. Couldn’t of been more pleasant and professional and came through in a pinch.

Awesome job, awesome experience! I called a couple places here in Chico because I purchased a large sectional and needed the four boxes moved up 3 flights of stairs (very narrow stairs!) I was quoted $ 200+ the first two places I called, so third time is the charm certainly applies here! With super short notice two guys show up at my door, all smiles, and within ten minutes the entire sectional is in my living room. And it only cost me $ 60! Will definitely be calling for anything in the future!

I honestly cannot say enough good things about this young man, his company, his work ethic, or his willingness to accommodate his customer!
I contacted Murdock’s looking for an extensive clean-​up job on a property in Chico. Not only was he professional and kind, he was also willing to work with the kinks of me living out of state and having to coordinate everything over the phone.
I have worked with other hauling services in the past, and I have never been as impressed as I was with Murdock’s. If you are on Unilocal looking for an outstanding company – you have found it!

The man said he would be there. He was. The man said he would take away the old fencing, green waste to the airport, not so green waste to the appropriate destination. He did. The man said he would clean up the debris left from building the fence, including sweeping up the area. It was clean. He took care of business. He worked my job into his class schedule at Chico State. Working his way through school. Gotta like that.
