I love this place. It’s my go to pizza place in town. They sell delicious pizza by the slice and pie with convienant hours. Their pizzas are creative and yummy. I cannot get enough of the pesto pinapple one.

I have never really heard of this place until my friend introduced it to me last night while we were bar hopping. We were both pretty hungry because we didn’t eat lunch and we wanted to have something in our stomach before going off again into the bars. When I first walked into this place, the different arts on canvas for sale on the wall, the dark wood furniture, and the music background reminded me of San Francisco, which is nice. We ordered these pizza by the slice that was recently out of the oven and they were delicious. They didn’t put an excessive amount of sauce to the pizza(which I like because I feel like too much sauce overpowers the taste) and the crust was good. It would be nice though if they had a paper plate or something rather than that wax paper for your piazza but other than that, I really like this place for pizza. I will definitely come back to this place for more pizza.

Really good pizza! More of a bread type crust, which I love. There was a mistake with the pizza and the guys had no problem meaning a new one(I did bring the other back untouched). Fun, good experience. Delicious!

If you haven’t been to Main Street Pizza in a few years, you may wish to revisit. There have been some major changes and they’re all for the better. First, the interior is actually nice now. There is a rustic feel to the interior, and it’s small but inviting. The pizza is a lot better than it used to be. I think the crust could still use a bit more flavor, and I prefer my pizza to have more oils and overall wetness to it, but it’s good. I’ve been there twice in the last few months and have been impressed with the changes.

I went on a Friday night at 6:30 and there was hardly anyone there. I walked up to the counter and noticed there were only a couple of pizza choices, and there was heavy metal music playing and paintings all over. I was a little intimidated, until I started talking to the guy. possibly the nicest guy ever. he made us our own pizza and, because we waited, he only charged us for 2 pieces, instead of 3. nicest guys ever and great pizza! definitely recommend it!

My first time there and it was a tasty sandwich! Owners are nice. I’ll be going back to try their pizza.

Outstanding pizza. I had the barbecue chicken, which did all the usual BBQ chicken things right, but also used blue cheese to add a really nice twang. The guy running the place is very cool, and seems genuinely invested in making interesting, flavorful food. He’s actively experimenting with new pizza varieties, and I look forward to seeing what he comes up with.

Completely revamped and ready to make you happy at night! The new owners are putting their best foot forward and really want some feedback how how to make main street pizza the best place in town. Stop by and let them know what you like and would like to see at the new main st pizzeria café!

Here is a fun but strange place to get some food late night. This place is open until three am and always has loud death metal or crazy techno playing. The owner is kind of strange, but the pizza is decent and if you get it delivered he will bargain with you late night. They also have $ 3 slices so that is great!

If you want a nice slice of pizza while out with friends or just for a quick snack(as I just did, was craving PIZZA!), come to Main Street Pizza. $ 3.00, tax included, and the pizza is delicious! Crust could be a bit better, but other than that, no complaints. I always end up getting two. Yummy!

Hard to beat for cheap, fast, late-night food. I always get a slice of the Pesto pizza, for $ 3. Good location downtown, and next to Duffy’s bar. I wouldn’t go here before 10pm, but nonetheless it’s my favorite place to get some quick food late at night.

The Pesto is pretty good. I’ll give the rating 3 stars for that alone. Otherwise there are only two other reasons for why you should be eating there: 1.) It’s a fresh slice, only 5 minutes old and you want some pizza. 2.) You’ve had at least 4 beers and it’s past midnight and you are closer to main street than any other place that sells food and you want to quickly get back to your drinking. It’s conveniently located next to Duffy’s and stays open late, and It’s cheap. $ 3 for a big fat slice last time I went. It’s also fast service. Load that sucker up with oregano and red pepper and parmesan and it’s a good slice of pizza if you’re drunk.

if you have had all the flavors of pizza and they just aren’t working for you,(hard to imagine, i know, since no one goes there unless they’re on their way from one bar to another) try pizza bread. it’s basically fresh french brad that they slather some sauce and toppings on. they don’t always have it but it is so good! surprisingly so. it’s always a couple bucks and you can get whatever toppings you like. super hot and no where near as greasy as the other pizzas they have… i say again PIZZABREAD.

I probably shouldn’t rate an establishment based on my own genetic defaults, but Main St. still stands as the only pizza that has ever managed to bless me with an honest-to-goodness allergic reaction. Impressive! Or scary. Either way – I had terrible itchy hives all over my neck, arms, and ears for the few hours after consuming their pizza. Bummer.

I remember trying to go to Main Street for lunch, thinking it would be a fine option, and walking distance from my last class… only to find they werent even open during the day. This establishment, my friends, is only for the hardcore, drunk as jesus late night eats. And thats where it truly shines. First off, as you can already tell from Sammys post, you need to get the pesto slice. Yes you need it. After a night of assault on your tastebuds all over town, that slice of pesto pizza will be the most incredible thing in the world for your walk/peddy cab home. If its winter, it may also be the only thing keeping you from freezing to death, too. I have literally been with a girl who dropped her slice half way home, and burst into tears. Yes, alcohol could have been a factor, but I like to think that her response would be identical if it was midday. The pies here arent thin crust if thats your deal, and if you are looking for an arugula stack and diced prosciutto, you are in the wrong goddamn place. But the pizza itself is tastier than Frankies across town, and by far your best late night eats option in the downtown area. Besides, I cant remember many things in my college experience as enjoyable as a late night downtown capped by a slice of main street pesto. When late night drunk food makes up a chunk of your favorite college memories, you know its a worthwhile joint.

OK, the pesto pizza, which is basically cheese and a whole lot of garlic is sooooooo good. I mean great. I mean superb. Really, one of the best slices anywhere. Now that I made my point about the food I will move on to the service and the location. This tiny little hole in the wall, and I mean hole(I didn’t know this place was here for three years), is located between a few divy bars where all the dirty emo kids hung out. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed some of those bars and was friends with some of those kids, but you had to dodge some pretty skanky people to get a slice. The staff, not the friendliest, but I must tell you about my last visit to Chico for alumni weekend, where I actually called the police on them(ya I’m a narc, so what?) So I went there after a heavy night of drinking with my friend’s little sister(who’s 23). The sister is a cute little blond girl… I’m just telling you this for reference. We wait in line, order our slices and sit at a booth to wait for them. Erika(the sister) tells me that this girl working at the counter who is wasted beyond belief and probably on every drug known to man is mouthing«f* u you f*ing whore» to her. She was like«oh my god what did I do?» so it becomes this huge deal where the crazy drunk bitch is telling all the employees that Erika called her a whore. So I had to straighten it out with the manager that Erika didn’t call her a whore, but ordered a slice of pizza and sat and waited silently for it. So ridiculous. But shit, they got good pizza. I’d go back
