I love their food. One of my personal favorite restaurants in town. The waitresses are always super nice. The bartenders are friendly and will try to remember your name. It is a party at night

We like thick crust pizza and they happily accommodated us with the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. 20 ounce beers and terrific service.

On Friday, the special of the day at Franky’s was eggplant parmesan. Chef Carlos, who I got a chance to meet, is a magician. I had the dish with marinara sauce. While I used a knife to cut it, that was mainly to control the melting cheese. The eggplant was crazy tender and delicious to the last bite. I’m a big fan of eggplant. We have cooked it at home and I’ve eaten it at a number of restaurants throughout California and Nevada. This was, the best. I was only visiting Chico so can’t vouch for other Franky’s dishes. But with Chef Carlos’ touch, I presume they will all be delicious. It’s always nice when traveling to find a local spot. Put Franky’s on your list.

I originally only ever ordered pizza by the slice at the take out window on late nights, which is ALWAYS a go to. The pizza is great! However, I recently decided to dine-in at the actual restaurant, and it was the right choice. I ordered the Big Daddy Mac n Cheese, and it was delicious. Cheesy, bacony, and with just the right amount of heat from jalapeños. It came in a huge portion, and I was able to split my leftovers into two separate meals. I also got the tomato bisque soup with my meal, and it was the best tomato bisque I’ve ever had! Very creamy and tasty. The food is a little pricey, but as I said, I was able to make 3 meals out of it altogether! Also, the fresh bread that came with the meal was super good. I will definitely be back!

Whether it’s completely sober or very much under the influence, Franky’s pizza is the best pizza in all of Chico hands down.(A little on the pricey side for being pizza though!)

Food is awesome. Service is awesome. Only complaints are the price(and I can’t believe I’m saying this but) it was too cold! There are a few«hidden charges» and for two of us the bill was almost eighty bucks. That’s not terrible, but it just seemed like they charged for everything(replacements, veggies instead of pasta, Caesar salad, etc) I will still likely go back here because overall I really like the restaurant!

Well, where to begin… The hostest was extremely rude. The food is over priced and really not that good and dry. The salads consist of lettuce, chese and maybe a cruton with horrible dressing. Disappointed in this place. If you are really wasted a slice of pizza might taste good, but not the greatest.

I had a bad experience before so i wrote a review, but the manager reached out to me and sent a giftcard to try their food again! I went back and had a great experience. The food is good and they give you a ton of food. I was especially impressed by the great customer service.

Food’s pretty good. Service is pretty good. Not happy about«hidden» food costs. There’s a new Italian Restaurant on Mangrove called Forcello. Go there. Better food, and they don’t charge you for the bread when you aren’t looking!

Indoor restaurant: amazing! Love the Italian cuisine! Have eaten there many times and never been disappointed with my meals. Amazing pasta! Pizza window: BOMB pizza for cheap prices and open late. Couldn’t ask for more. Bar: knowledgable bartenders, great drinks! Used to love fishbowls on Thursdays, just not into it anymore but Thursday’s are great for younger crowd.

We love eating at frankys! The food is fresh and affordable! Their gluten free options are minimal –but, I promise– you don’t have to worry about cross contamination– their frozen mousse ice cream is delicious!(Unfortunately, not gluten free– I can’t have it anymore) the staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean and the food is outstanding!

Great atmosphere, great food, great drinks! It’s a smaller reataurant/bar but the vibe is classy with a comfortable feel. Everyone is welcome. I had their sausage bread and a peach mule, delicious!

Had dinner there once, one of our plates were delicious. the other one, not so much. We found out white wine with chicken is not our forté. Our waitress had a very dry personality, and was not very helpful. But the food was okay.

Had lunch here for the first time in over 8 years. Didn’t remember whether or not I liked it back then, but thought we’d give it a shot. Glad we did. Clam chowder on Friday was delicious! The sourdough bread was warm and fresh. The service was excellent. Great lunch. We’ll be back next«diet cheat day».

Great place for a nice date Sunday-Wednesday or during the day and in the evening on Thursday it’s a great place for a fishbowl. I like the atmosphere and the television that plays a fish tank. After 1am you can get a piece of pizza for just a few dollars. It’s just so Chico

Hang in there because the beginning is rough. Franky’s is one of my least favorite bars in Chico, it’s not the bartenders as much as it is the greasy crowd and the impolite bouncers. Impolite is an understatement, but I’d like to keep this review family friendly. That being said, this is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Chico. I’m full Italian, born and raised in San Francisco so saying I have high standards for food is more than true. I cruised in after class, was greeted by one of the waiters Andre. He immediately made me feel at home at the bar, poured me an Old Chico and the conversation started rolling. I asked for his personal opinion on a dish as I couldn’t decide between two, and he made a recommendation that was to die for. I could tell he wasn’t just chatting it up for a tip or because he was bored, but he was actually engaging in conversation, recommending dishes and his opinions, and was awesome company — lacking company myself. Salute! Ross

Franky’s is another good pizza restaurant in Chico. I never actually ate inside. Being a broke college student. All you can afford are ¼ slices of pizza lol When I used to live in the dorms, my friend and I used to come here on Friday or Saturday nights after leaving Frat parties. They used to be open up until 2am on weekends. Not the whole restaurant. Only a double window which is located on the side of the parking lot was open late. Sold by the slice. Drunk, high and hungry college student would get in line to get either cheese or pepperoni pizza. Slices used to be $ 2.50 for cheese and & $ 3 for pepperoni. Not sure if the prices are still the same.
