I didn’t have much time to spare but I stopped in to find a very special gift. The girl actually gather things on the store and displayed them on the counter for me to make my final selection well I was choosing a card for the recipient. In 12 minutes I was in and out with a gift custom wrapped that I feel good about giving. She understood my time frame and with a simple explanation selected several items that would have been perfect!

These folks are AMAZING. You are going to get what you pay for so don’t expect them to price things down at the bottom. This is a place for premium product and premium skill. Highly recommended. We get flowers from them on a regular basis and have never been disappointed.

I had a wonderful experience at this shop! I needed a fabulous flower arrangement for a wonderful staff member at Chico! Everyone at this shop went out of their to help me while I waited. What a colorful masterpiece they created and the special touch I especially loved, was the cute little lady bug on the sunflower! What an entrance I made, and how good it was to give such a beautiful arrangement to such a deserving person. Thank you!

This place is so un professional and rude ! They made a mistake in my order and delivered it the wrong day. When I called the next day the guy florist I guess his name is bob … He was so rude and hostile with me. I asked him if he argued with every Customer? And he said yes when their wrong ! I paid $ 65. 00 for a plant that was already made and didn’t take any talent to produce, you would think they could get an order right. He asked me not to come back and clearly I would never come back. I tried to do a good thing and support the local business ! But clearly this guy needs to be fired! And I will never give them my money again. I’m typically not a complainer but this guy florist is so rude.

I called the shop at 10am on a Saturday morning when I needed flowers delivered by 1pm that same day and they got it done no problem. I had a nice conversation with the woman who answered the phone regarding what I was looking for and how much I was willing to spend. I didn’t give a whole lot of direction or specifications and it was exactly what I was looking for. The arrangement was beautiful! I couldn’t have asked for more. Great service and beautiful flower arrangements!!! Highly recommended!

I just placed an out-​of-​town phone order with Christian & Johnson (whom I chose based on other reviews), and the woman who answered the phone spent over 10 minutes (at my request) describing in great detail the different types of arrangements and plants I could purchase in my price range. It is rare to receive this level of service from most florists today. I highly recommend Christian & Johnson when placing an order from out of town.

Our company has had the pleasure to use Christian & Johnson for several occasions. We have had very specific requirements for arrangements with a delivery time that had a narrow window. I must say that our needs are always met and expectations exceeded. We always receive many comments from customers about the beautiful arrangements and gifts. Christian and Johnson is one of the local businesses that make living in Chico so great. The staff are friendly and helpful, they are supportive of the community, and they truly do the best floral work in town. Plus, the gift shop is beautiful with new selections every time I go in. It’s my go-​to place in Chico for gifts for any occasion.

Went into C & J this evening to help a friend purchase a retirement gift. We picked a nice vase and asked if a small flower arrangement could be made for the vase. We were told, «Any other time I would, but we close in 5 minutes and it will take 10. Sorry I have friends coming over.» We had already been in the store for 15 minutes looking around– no one offered any help or suggestions. I’ve lived in Chico for nearly 20 years and purchased flowers here many times. After this experience I will find a new florist.

If you live out of town and are sending flowers to someone, this is the place. Beautiful arrangements and fast delivery has made me look good on Mother’s Day more times than I’d like to admit. They’re really nice on the phone and have great suggestions. I remember when they were one of the best nurseries in town, the quality has remained even though now they are a florist and gift shop.

The place to go for Holiday ornaments! They have several different themed trees so your sure to find something you like :) The sales woman was so helpful and offered to gift wrap each ornament gift I bought, what a time saver for me! I will definitely be back when I need to pick up a gift or order flowers!

Wow, very impressed! I was looking for a very last minute birthday gift for a relative in Chico and found C&J website. Called first thing Saturday morning with a wreath and gift card gift to be delivered. The lady who took my call was super sweet and very helpful. And my gift was delivered before noon the same day! That was the best service I have ever received and such an easy transaction from a few hundred miles away! Thank you so much and the wreath looked so pretty on the front door. I love your website and cannot wait to visit your store on my next trip to Chico.

They always satisfy your needs. I have never gone anywhere else in Chico and never plan on it. They always have fresh flowers and roses and will make anything that you would like. I come here for mothers day and birthdays and plan on sending them my business for as long as I live in Chico.

I made the mistake of ordering Mother’s Day flowers from
. They sent me an email on the Friday afternoon before Mother’s Day to tell me that they were too busy to ship my order in time for the holiday, but they could get them there the following Tuesday. Well, that kind of misses the point, now, doesn’t it? Anyways, so since my mom lives in Chico, I went to Unilocal to find a shop that might be able to take my order on the Friday evening before Mother’s Day and get the flowers there on time. Hannah took my call and was extremely accommodating, given the (unintentional) short notice. I gave her a vague description of what I was looking for and she came up with a great flower package for my mom. I basically asked her to choose something that she would send to her mom. Ordinarily I would not put this kind of trust into a shop that I have never been to or dealt with before, but I got a good feeling from Hannah after speaking with her for a few minutes and telling her my sorry tale of woe after dealing with 1800 Flowers.
I asked that the delivery person call my mom before attempting delivery, so that they don’t waste their time going over when my mom was out shopping. When they attempted delivery, my mom wasn’t home and also didn’t answer her phone. They left a message for her to call back to arrange a delivery time. My mom called back and worked out a delivery time and then Hannah called me back to let me know what was happening and that they had arranged a delivery time with my mom. Whoa! I think I may have heard about this before. I think it’s called customer service. Needless to say, I was ecstatic that they took care of my order exactly the way I wanted and was really pleased at how they kept me informed of the delivery status. This is exactly the sort of experience that you want when delivering flowers for a special occasion. Next year, I know who I’ll be calling for my Mother’s Day flower delivery! Thanks again, Hannah!
My mom called me yesterday to say that she loved the flowers and they are perfect to plant in her garden (I ordered azaleas planted in a decorative pot.) She had actually planned to go flower shopping this week, but we saved her the trouble. Extra points for Dave. ;)
