Chico Childrens Playground

This is a very nice place to let the kids run around. It is safe, clean, and has new equipment.

This was an awesome playground very close to downtown Chico, the new-​ish Gateway Science Museum and CSU Chico. In short, awesome and convenient location. It has a play structure for the 5+ set as well as a smaller playground for younger kids.
My 5-​year old son had so much fun there, he wanted to go again the very next day (we were visiting from out of town).
Also, there are picnic tables and a huge grass area and it is next to the river! Loved it. Literally spent hours there over the course of 2 days.

Quiet serene park located at the north entrance of CSUC. Great place for meditation, reading, studying before class, or walking. Benches, creek on westside for cooling down. Old historic outdoor amphitheatre.
