This rating is for the haole cheesesteak… it’s all I’ve had due to my spacing between visits and addiction to the sandwich!

First timer and place was soooo good, thought it was going to be one of those typical«I can make this at home sandwich» places but I was wrong, I got the drakester sandwich and it was on point, my girlfriend had the beach bikini and she was very satisfied with hers, if go again, definitely. staff was very very nice as well!

Great sandwiches and great variety of options. A little on the pricey side, however beach hut deli fills you right up! If you are a sandwich person I definitely recommend.

Great spot on the corner near other popular places to eat and shop. The food is good quality and the service is exactly what you would expect for a very popular deli. Try the Malibu or Santa Cruz or pig kahuna

Sandwiches are super good, lots of meat! A little pricey though, but the sandwiches do come with a lot of good toppings that you would end up paying extra for at other sandwich shops.

Food is ok, but a little pricey($ 10 for a sandwich that again, is only ok) The beach hut deli has been in service for 30 years, and it looks as though it hasn’t been cleaned for as long. For starters, the bathroom is hideous, has dirt and mold all over. Graffiti all over the trash can and soap dispenser(there IS a way to get rid of that, but seems as though owners don’t care) not to mention the women’s bathroom door doesn’t lock PERIOD. They put a nice«how to» on the door, but the lock is broken either way you lock it. I know at my place of businesses, we would fix that ASAP. Secondly, the kitchen is just as bad! That is where the food is handled, I couldn’t even finish my meal when I saw how horrid it is! I don’t think cleanliness makes a difference when they are feeding hungry college students, I would stay away unless you want food poisoning. Not to mention rude staff!

For a quick deli sandwich the Santa Cruz is awesome. Hot pastrami with cream cheese and everything on it. That with chips and a glass of Pale Ale and your set.

Sooooooo good. I just went here for the first time. They had so many interesting choices. I got the Malibu and it was awesome. Just enough salt and pepper. Anything with avocado is great. The décor is cool and the girls who work there are cute.

Not sure what’s happening to customer service these days. Bad customer service can make excellent food seem mediocre and mediocre food seem bad. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth due to the very poor customer service. The manager would do well to train the girls behind the counter how to properly treat their patrons. HORRIBLE experience!

I ordered the mesa salad. Loved it! Fresh and delicious. Excellent choices with 7 salad choices and fine with your substitutions. Great service!

I always liked this place better than Mr. Pickle. Good food, great sandwiches and they are more affordable.

I ordered two sandwiches, one for my friend and one for myself. My sandwich(which was more complicated) only took a minute, while my friend’s was done after I had finished mine! Not to mention they all wear flip flops(which I consider unsanitary) and I saw them drop several things on the floor. Which they promptly put back on the counter :(Ew! And I never saw anyone using any gloves. While the good is always good, I’m worried about the cleanliness of the place.

Better than McDonalds for no other reason but the fact that it’s not McDonalds. With the exception of that one employee who I never bothered to remember her name, the employees are fantastic and down to earth. Due to that fact, I became a regular because the last thing I want are narcissists making my food after a long day. The sandwiches are made fresh and are served in huge portions that will satisfy a student’s belly and make sure his wallet doesn’t go anorexic. I highly recommend the Santa Cruz for, in my opinion, it’s the best one they have. The men working there are hot. 5⁄5 would visit again.

I went in and got the Surfin Bird. I asked for extra pickles on the side and no mustard, just mayo. I make mine to go and they kept rudely insisting I sit down. With it being so busy, standing would give dine in customers room to sit. I get my sandwich and go back to the university. The sandwich is SMOTHERED in mustard, no mayo, and no pickles. All I tasted was mustard that I couldn’t eat it. The girls are always rude and don’t appreciate nice manners when they’re serving customers. Sandwiches are very much overpriced. Go to Marcelli’s down the street for cheaper, better quality sandwiches!

I have been wanting to try this place for some time now. I jumped on the first opportunity I had and I’m glad I did. The first thing I noticed as I walked in the door was the smell of bacon(drool). The second thing I noticed was the surf board tables they had(only a few) and last but not least the hot girls working the counter(hubba, hubba)! When I went to order I noticed that the prices were a little high for my liking(when it comes to sandwiches). You can order a small, medium, or large sandwich(drinks and chips are extra) and some of the sandwiches come on deli slices. One of the cute girls recommended the Surfin’ Bird so I ordered a large. It was around $ 13. It was delicious! It has turkey, avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato, pepperchinis, onion, and cream cheese. This was one of the best tasting sandwiches that I’ve ever had. It was a big sandwich too. Good portion of turkey, a whole avocado, and with the rest of the toppings I could barely fit it in my mouth when taking a bite. The sandwiches are served on a Frisbee, which is cool. If you’ve never tried this place then YOUNEEDTO! The only reason I didn’t give the Beach Hut Deli a 5 star rating is because I have a hard time paying $ 13 for a sandwich. I am a fan and will come back, just not as often as I would like, unless they lower the prices.
