I love this place! It is in a convenient location, it is very clean and the staff are extremely friendly. I mentioned to the acupuncturist that I was having trouble sleeping and he recommended I take magnesium supplements. I really liked that he heard my problem and directed me in the right direction with a healthy alternative. I haven’t gone back because I’m a little weary with needles, but I would recommend it to anyone. The acupuncturist was very nice. He even made sure to bring me a blanket while I was laying there to make my experience more comfortable. You guys rock!

I’d never gotten acupuncture before going here. I had what I felt were unspecific aches and ailments and had no expectations on how effective acupuncture would be in making me feel better. In the months since I started going (lots of times, only once a month), everything from digestive issues to nerve-​related pain have improved overall, and often times I’ve felt immediate relief after a session. Regardless of how much relief I get, though, I always leave feeling calmer and more relaxed. The rooms are not very bright and there’s usually low music playing. It’s warm and cozy in the winter and a cool oasis in the summer.
The office staff and healers are incredibly caring and compassionate. They take the time to get to know you and your issues so you really feel like a friend rather than a customer. Especially since they have adjustable prices for those times you’re running short (at $ 35 for full price, it’s pretty reasonable). The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is because I haven’t gotten acupuncture anywhere else and so don’t have anything for comparison. I would absolutely recommend American Chi Center for Health for anyone looking to get relief from aches and pains, or anxiety issues.
My personal list of complaints:
lower back pain, sciatica, upset stomach, anxiety, weird undiagnosed shoulder joint pain, arthritis.

Jennifer Conlin, LAC is by far the BEST Acupuncturist in town! Absouletely LOVE the care, proactive approach and professionalism of Jennifer and her team at American Chi. They have a new address, which is near the hospital now, and are currently at 1209 Esplanade Suite #1 in Chico. I cannot say enough about my overall improvement in ailments that have been treated by suregeons, prescriptions and doctors over the years… Jen and her skills as an Acupuncturist left them in the dust. I am so very happy to have a more wholistic approach to my health and the proof is in the excellent way I feel every week! Thanks Jen! :)
