5th Street Steakhouse is the best steakhouse in town! Great service and great quality of food every single time! I usually get the rib-​eye with the blue cheese crust and my oh my it’s delicious!

Maybe the best food in town. The service is outstanding. The atmosphere is hip but white tablecloth. It’s totally comfy but you won’t feel out of place in a suit or jeans. And the food is amazing! The steaks are perfectly seasoned and cooked. The salmon is very good. The sides are equally delicious! The kids menu is reasonable and also very good.
Yes. It s expensive. But it is a high quality steak house. If you want cheap-​go to Outback. But if you want GOOD, go to 5th Street!

Wonderful meal and even better service from Naomi. My buddies and I were in town for a ten year college reunion and 5th Street Steakhouse did not disappoint. The prawns were huge, and all of our steaks were perfectly cooked. I will definitely return on my next trip to Chico.

My boyfriend and I visited for dinner and we were blown away! We had heard many delightful things about the restaurant, however it was by far one of the best dining expiriences we’ve ever had.
Our waitress did a wonderful job of waiting on us, making sure our water glass was always full. However the best came as she delivered my prime rib. She made sure that I was pleased with the way the meat was cooked (I had told her I was picky about how rare I prefer my meat)
She really tied the evening together with her fabtastic service!
The meal was fantastic, and the caramel brulée was fantastic!
Our new go to place!

Doesn’t get much better than this!
If you want a real steak, this is the place. And if you want the BEST MARTINI EVER this is the place. I recommend the Blue Goose… Grey Goose vodka with blue cheese stuffed olives.
The incredible food is matched by impeccable service. Attentive, without being overbearing. And really just awesome people work here.
We go here for special occasions and frequently for happy hour, and just because. Not only is 5th Street one of the best restaurants in Chico, but one of the best I’ve ever been to (and we eat out a lot!)

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! My family is in town from the Bay Area and we live in Paradise. We wanted to find a good steak house for dinner and based on Unilocal reviews, we picked 5th street. They totally deserve their high rating!!! The dinner was perfect! My husband who eats to live (not lives to eat like the rest of my family) for the first time in his life (yes, first time ever) actually said the food was delicious! I was so surprised! It was nothing less than EXQUISITE! My two year old was also well accommodated with a child’s cup and a loud atmosphere so no one could hear his usual noisiness! This place is now our new date spot! Worth the 25 minute drive from Paradise, Ca.

Great steaks, good bar, way, way too many mashed potatoes, and the plates are a little plain. Meat. Starch. Done. Garnish? Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the potatoes as left-​overs, and the steaks are very good. I have a hard time getting excited about a place that serves food I can beat at home for a quarter of the price.
On our last visit in early September our waiter, an older gentleman, was a professional. He knew what he was doing, and he took pride in what he was doing. Five stars for him.

I’m not even a big fan of steak, but I AM a big fan of this restaurant. I’ve lived in Chico for 4 years and finally got to try it out tonight– which I’m now regretting because I was missing out! The steak was so well cooked, along with everything else we ordered. Their garlic mashed potatoes are BOMB, and their plates come with an entire head of roasted garlic– Heaven. I got the balsamic Brussel sprouts and the cheddar potatoes cake which were both amazing and perfectly cooked. I will absolutely be back soon!

I can see why people get excited about it. I just didn’t. it wasn’t bad… just not WOW!!! that so many people claim it to be.

i went to this steak house on Saturday evening for a birthday dinner of my friend and I must say, this is the best spot that I have eaten a steak. I ordered mine to be well done and they did not overcooked it to the point where it becomes burned and black. the tenderness of the meat was on point and the taste of the meat was really good. The dish I ordered came with garlic smash potatoes which that as well was really good.
The services here are really good and they check up to see if you need anything else. The restaurant atmosphere is well lit and definitely a great place to take someone out on a date or for a special occasion. A little pricey but that is kind of to be expected at a steakhouse and it is definitely worth the price. I would recommend this place to everyone I know and would come back to this place

What a consistently great restaurant. Steaks are always prepared just as we like. Servers are always friendly and attentive. This is a must if you are in The Chico area!
