Walking by this place looks simply just like a grocery store. Not a clean one anyway, i decided to stop in because i wanted something to drink. The inside looks tacky, a little disorganized. I also noticed that they serve food. You can hardly notice the sign outside that says they serve hot dogs and other foods. The lady running the place scared me with the way she was looking at me. I decided to order food, a pizza puff and drink. I was given complimentary fries which was awesome. Theres not much seating area so i took it home. The food was okay, nothing special from any joint who sells the same fried foods. The fries weren’t stale, so that was good. Overall, its the kind of place i would go to if theres nothing else around open. But being in logan square, places are open til 9 or later.

I’ve lived in Logan Square for an entire year now and had never tried out this place, because from the outside it looks like a small grocery/convenience store(I was half right, it’s both). I love mom and pop hot dog joints, and this one did not disappoint. I ordered a hot dog and fries and was about to get a soda, when the lady running the convenience half of the store offered me home made apple juice(which she made in front of me). She even offered to put a little pear in it, but I declined. It was freaking delicious, and well worth the dollar. My total came out to $ 4.16. My hot dog was good, and the fries were just okay. The friendliness of the staff and nostalgic setting was much appreciated. I’ll definitely be coming back to try other things. NOM on Unilocalers.
