The space is utilized very well. The layout is easy to navigate. The artwork is on a whole, different level of creativity that not too elite but remains accessible fi r the novice onlookers. Definitely a great place to venture yo in order to see up and coming artists.

I recently went to an exhibition here for a friend. Nice intimate space, lighting is good, two levels. Most of the art is fairly inexpensive yet fairly interesting. It’s located between the Grand and Chicago stops on the Blue Line, and the #56 goes both directions. so stop in for a showing with a friend or date and enjoy some wine before starting out the evening.

A beautiful airy, space is the perfect setting for an art gallery. The opening parties are always crowded and the artists are usually very engaging. Run by a strong group of volunteers, this gallery has much on the ball and supports art by woman from all over the world. Affordable art work. Get on their e-blasts for upcoming events and parties. Parking is difficult, but doable.

If you love art, then you’ll love this gallery! I’ve been to multiple shows here and am very impressed with the quality and range of the art they exhibit. Some of their shows are also accompanied by poetry readings. It is run by a wonderfully warm woman who has a real flair for running a gallery that makes everyone feel welcome. I Love this place!

I love the space here, the two levels, the light, the colors. And the artwork is always very interesting. Very imaginative. Great jewelry(I know, I have some!), nice, helpful people(esp. for the artist) and just generally good vibes. Just wish the parking were better, but you could say that about 90% of Chicago.

How refreshing… a nonprofit gallery! Obviously this gallery features work by women. Went here for an opening last Friday for a juried show. I was greeted at the door with a «hello, are you one of the artists?» This is a relatively big space with 2 floors. Artwork was reasonable with the majority of the artwork in this show being under $ 1000. Saw some interesting pieces that I wouldn’t have minded buying. Got a little peeved because this opening was crowded and as I tried to look at the artwork, people stood in front of the pieces mingling! On my way home I thought this wasn’t such a bad thing – people having a good time vs. snooty people taking themselves WAY too seriously?
