Wolfgang Puck Catering and Events

Carli Milstein and Pamela Swisher arranged for the catering at our daughter’s wedding over the July 4^th Holiday weekend. We had a change late in the game and with less than a month’s notice hired WGP and they put together a proposal, a tasting and a delicious menu to please a diverse and wide array of palates (we had kosher, we had vegans, we had gluten free and still offered beef and chicken options) and yet EVERYONE was happy with their meals! Our venue was unusual without a great kitchen yet they worked to deliver seamlessly an evening of food that delighted all of our guests. The appetizers were amazing and the braised beef short ribs… well people are still talking about them! But best of all was the quality of service, we just can’t say enough about the level of attention we received before and during the event itself, it was much like what one would receive as a member in a private club. Carli knew the FOB was a vegan so she made sure he had a special plate of appetizers during the cocktail hour and when he said how delicious they were and that he wished he could have them for dinner guess what showed up as a side dish? The bride loved a dish from the proposed menu and tasting that was too obscure for a crowd so it didn’t make it to the final menu but apparently Carli made note of this and served it just to the bride bringing even more joy to an already joyful event. The attention by the staff; serving, pouring, clearing was all done discreetly enough as to be unobtrusive but made our guests feel very well taken care of. It was simply as good as it gets!

Dustin at Wolfgang Puck did our recent wedding, and they did a PHENOMENAL job. When we first did our tasting, they were the most expensive company and a bit out of our price range. Instead of telling us «too bad», they actually adjusted things a bit so they fell within our price range, without compromising the food or drinks at all. None of the other companies we tasted with were willing to do this. The day of the event, everything went perfectly. The food was one of the most important things to us, and everything was perfect! It was just like what we tasted, and we have gotten countless compliments on how good the food was. My only gripe, which is totally minor, was that the gazpacho that was served was not the same gazpacho we had originally tasted. Honestly, that was my only complaint! I would definitely recommend Wolfgang Puck.

I used Wolfgang Puck Catering for our annual company holiday party. I’ve planned the event for the past few years using Food For Thought. I decided to try a different caterer this year– and thought they did a terrific job. The food was outstanding! I got tons of compliments on how great the food was. They helped me find a DJ and Florist too– which was very much appreciated. They are expensive– but I thought the party turned out terrific– well worth the money!
