It’s one of the better one’s downtown. They occupy a good sized space so their aisles are not tight/narrow. They have plenty of room but do cram some stuff into open spaces which is annoying but I can’t complain because I’ve seen worse! The cashiers are quick to check you out and very friendly, which is a plus when you are getting something in the morning on your way to work.

All I wanted was a small bag of pretzels, which apparently doesn’t exist in this Walgreens. Large bags, yes. Small bags, no.

I visit here on lunch on occasion. Great pharmacy staff. Hit or miss on the front register staff. Woman in cosmetics is always helpful. Good with greeting and asking if you need help at this store.

The only bad thing about this Walgreens is that they have limited hours and the Pharmacy is not opened on the weekends. Otherwise…these people are so fricken nice. The Pharmacist is so helpful and accommodating, if he doesn’t really love his job, he sure could have fooled me! The Pharm techs are very pleasant as well. They make you feel like you’ve been going there for years. Good job Walgreens on Wacker… good job! :)

The Walgreens in my neighborhood left me thinking that there was no hope for this company. However, I took my chances on this Walgreens which is close by my work and boy am I glad I did! Amazing Pharmacy Staff who are willing to accommodate your requests as well as go above and beyond with a smile on their face! Also, the rest of the store staff does a stellar job at assisting you and getting you checked out ASAP. Great job guys!!!

Closest Walgreens to my work and to the Willis(Sears) Tower and Union Station. This W’s has: –nice Pharmacy Techs –fresh fruit for a nice snack –specials on Gatorade, always –small selection of wine and beer(shh!) –Chase ATM –real checkout clerks The checkout line is kind of a cluster, especially with clueless tourists here. But the clerks most likely have«Dub Life» tattooed on their bellies, cuz they’re the nice«Lifer» variety! I bought a Gatorade here the other day and out comes printed coupons for those fancy Gatorade pre and post-fuel things. $ 7 in FREE stuff! I like this W’s.

Yes, I gave a Walgreens 5 stars. Don’t judge me. This Walgreens is better than any Walgreens ever in the history of time. Here is why: 1. My hand got smashed this summer playing softball. I went in to fill my Vicodin, and the pharmacy tech said, «I hope you feel better.» 2. Whenever there’s a line, they magically come up with more cashiers to open more registers. 3. Last Christmas, my department had adopted a family. We decided that since one of the children hadn’t asked for any toys(had instead asked for a blanket and a winter coat) that we would run out and get one for him. The employees at this Walgreens asked if they could help me find anything, helped me find something, got it down off the shelf for me, and made sure I had wrapping paper. 4. I went in not too long ago for«girly» items, and the cashier offered to put them in a paper bag so no one would see them. Nice touch, Wacker Walgreens. More briefly, there’s a Walgreens by my home, and one by my work. I wait to go to the one by work because it is so oddly, wonderfully, nice.

A new Walgreens just opened up across the street from work not too long ago. It’s not that big, but feels really spacious, and has a lot of touristy items(Chicago mugs and shirts and shot glasses and stuff), because of the location(across the street from the Sears Tower, and everyone seems to be in on the action of tschotchke selling, which is not to be used against them). I remember going in, when I was 6 months pregnant and I’d had an allergic reaction to a bag that I was holding — my hand was swollen and I asked the pharmacists to help me find something that I could take for my hand that would not hurt the baby. They came through, and my hand«went back down» almost immediately. They also have a good selection of snacks and the best tasting non water water I’ve ever had. Plus they didn’t screw up my photo order. I like that in a Walgreens.
