I had been working late that week, so it was impossible for me to get there before their home care department closed. I called there and asked if they could please leave a shoulder immobilizer at the pharmacy. When I got there, it was just after 11pm, and the lady at the pharmacy was so nice and knew exactly who I was. Now mind you the night before I had picked up a arm sling and it just wasn’t cutting it, so the night manager was kind enough to exchange it. All in all it was a late night and I purchased what I needed with ease, which was very helpful! Thank you again for your accommodations! Happy Holidays!

The 1-hour photo lab is not run very well. I had a couple of rolls sent in for processing, and have photo cds made. Unfortunately each image scanned has an odd artifact in one corner. Seriously, doesn’t anyone bother to quality check the machine’s work? I am quite displeased.

If you go to the healthcare clinic don’t expect anyone to listen to you. The nurse practitioner I just had an appointment with was making decisions based on her own biases– not my evaluation. When I questioned her she wouldn’t listen to me and interrupted me and was condescending. If you’re sick, don’t come here, they don’t care. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would.

Standing, waiting for prescription right now. Pharmacy so slow! Not even busy, just slow! Other days I’ve come in here for other items, very shady characters lurking in and around the store. Only come here because of location.

I would skip this location all together! I made an appointment at the Take Care Clinic and waited over an hour and a half. After waiting I was informed that the clinic was closed! No warning before hand and the lady that checks you in could not have been any more mean about it. I know this location already sucks, but I will never be back. I will be sending a letter to the headquaters of Walgreens that this type of service will cost them my business from now on.

I hope this is the correct location. Howard and Western is my target. If you want someone to judge you for not breastfeeding your child. take a step into the Take Care clinic. News flash: beep: not everyone can breast feed as much as they might like to. As a healthcare professional. aka a nurse practitioner. don’t you think it’s a little RUDE and unprofessional to make a comment like«poor baby» when I tell you I didn’t breast feed! OMG! I came in because I had strep throat. wanted to test myself to make sure my child did not get sick too and got on some antibiotics. and HEEELLLLOOO. you’re talking to a hardworking single mom who’s going to school and working full time. trying to make a good life for her daughter. trying to make sure she’s healthy and that I’m healthy enough to care for her to the best of my ability. that’s a HUGE and most IGNORANT insult and you should be ashamed of your ridiculous self. How dare you insinuate I’m a bad mom. JUSTAWFUL. I’d rather drive back to Cali to get my antibiotics than deal with her. geez.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. Horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE customer service, especially at the pharmacy. They are illiterate and are more concerned with their personal problems than anything else. I try to overlook the fact that some people are never taught manners, but they’re just so ghetto it pains me. What’s worse is that ‘m forced to go there because they’re the only Walgreens that carries my prescription within 15 miles of my house. Time for some restructuring people!

DONOT buy a photo calendar here!!! I have ordered these photo calendars from snapfish for years and usually just have them delivered. This year I decided to try something new and instead pick it up from one of their locations, the Walgreens described here. The paper is lower quality, but that’s not what bothered me. The holes punched for the wire for the binding were not in a good location. What I mean is that the holes were too far down the paper for the wire binding to work well. You could barely turn the calendar pages without ripping it. The calendar does not lie flat and would not lie flat on the wall. When I asked for the holes to be re-punched I was asked by the photoshop manager, «what is wrong?» She did not think it was a problem. I tried explaining it to her, but she seemed disinterested and was rude. I left with a calendar that I originally purchased for a gift to my grandparents, but I can no longer give it as a gift, that’s how bad it is. I ended up going to kinko’s to have more holes punched so I can at least use it myself.

I generally like Walgreens, and this location is becoming one of my favorites. I know that many WalGs in the city have a no-public-washroom policy, but policy or no policy, when I have a little boy dancing the pee-pee dance and about to cry because he’s «gotta go REAL bad,» we need a bathroom, quick. I asked the assistant manager if we could use theirs, and he happily obliged. Also, we dropped off a prescription, and they filled it without an attitude in less than ten minutes. Rock on.

I also like Walgreens generally speaking. This location is not my favorite one by any means. There are so many to choose from, I usually shop at the one at Foster/Harlem or Foster/Central.

I’m actually a fan of Walgreens, but I absolutely hate this location. It is so small and everything is jam-packed within the little space. Customer service sucks here and parking is one big hassle to find. This is one Walgreens that I always keep off my errands list!
