This place is just a average dive bar from the neighborhood. Nothing fancy but that’s exactly what you want. Patrons are are really friendly unlike other bars in the general area. A real gem

This place is a lovable, local dive bar. If you’re expecting anything more than go some place else. I live down the street and have been here a few times. It’s a great laid back place to watch a game or just enjoy a beer. Although there doesn’t seem to be any beers on tap, the bottle selection is pretty decent. They also have good daily specials, and $ 1.25PBR daily. The lady bartender was nice and engaging. If you go on a Sunday for the game, you might get some of her delicious brats. Go in there with realistic expectations and you won’t be disappointed. I found my local watering hole.

Why am I not surprised I am the first one reviewing this dump hole in a wall. I usually like places like this but this was was pretty bad. It is on a busy street on Belmont Avenue. There is hardly anything on tap and the bartender was like 60 years old and moved like he was eighty. Took his sweet time getting a drink. There are two arcades in the bar that are not working. The amount of dust on them looks like it was last cleaned in the eighties. A very old and depressing bar.

A true Chicago Neighborhood Shot and a beer working man’s Tavern. The crowd is mostly 30 and up, good olé Americans, which in this neighborhood is hard to find. Good place to start the night.
