We love this place & love supporting neighborhood joints. It’s a no-frills BYOB local billiard place with regulation size pool tables as well as snooker tables. Not fancy, don’t expect a bar or pop 40 music. Sometimes the TVs are on, sometimes they’re off. Sometimes music is playing(usually some type of latin music), sometimes it’s just the noise of the poolhall. But the owner is always nice — he’s Korean, quiet & very kind. His wife may come in with their little poodle too! Tables are clean, cues are decent — not that well taken care of, so bring your own if you have one. Balls are always shiny and clean! Clientele is usually men, sometimes younger guys but nobody really bothers you. We’ve gone here many times, no fights, no rude people, everyone is pretty cool — mind their business & have a good time. It’s Albany Park, so our neighborhood is full of different ethnic backgrounds, we love it. And there’s an ice cream parlor right next door! You can also go to any taco place and bring food in. Sometimes a guy comes in selling pizzas. If you enjoy playing pool and don’t care about a fancy joint, don’t be afraid to hit up this place!

Ok, nothing really separates this place from the countless other pool halls on Lawrence, they don’t serve beer, have tons of pool tables and cater to a mainly foreign speaking clientele — except for one thing. They have a 20 ft sign that is misspelled! I live right across from this place and every time I go outside I get to see the lovely Uno Billiad(Billiad not BillaRds) sign swinging in the breeze. That’s right, they spent money on a 20 ft electric sign that is misspelled. The best part about it though is that the painted sign on the front of the building is spelled correctly. So not only did they pay for a sign with incorrect spelling, but they knew it was wrong when they were installing it. «So that sign looks great, yeah how much is the bill, oh that’s no problem and to tell you the truth I really don’t care that it is misspelled, no one will notice.» I would give them one star for this but I don’t know the owners so they may have issues and I would give them three stars since they are just your average pool hall like I said, but seeing this symbol of ignorance everyday just drives me bonkers. Especially when they have the painted sign and three neon signs in the windows that are all spelled correctly. Oh Uno Billiads, and I don’t mean Billiards! :P
