I have only been outside this joint. But. I can vouch for the insane beauty that comes with this place. The house that MJ immortalized. I’m thankful to be here. And I’m thankful for MJ.

I came here thanks to one of the reviewers. Did not come for a game. I came here only to snap a photo with the legend statue, Michael Jordan. Not much traffic but luckily there was some construction going on and I found a guy to help take a photo for me.

EPICGAME6(Blackhawks vs. Blues game) last night!!! BESTGAMEBARFAR! The Madhouse on Madison was packed and it was amazing to be part of that 6 – 3 win! We had good seats even for the 300 level! Perfect view to watch the game and lots of crazy diehard Hawks fans. My ears were buzzing all night from it being so loud. Love the comroderie when it comes to playoff hockey. FYI — make sure to eat ahead if you don’t want to spend $ 50 on food. We got nachos, chicken tenders and a soft pretzels. Pop is $ 6 and bottled water is $ 4.50 = here’s a tip: save the water bottle and fill it up during intermission. Food is good but it’s crazy expensive. It’s just like going to the movies. I’m a crazy Blackhawks fan, so the UC is my second home. Love watching them play and love this place!

Took in two shows of the course of 3 days. Saw David Gilmour(of Pink Floyd) and Iron Maiden. The arena itself is fairly clean with ample restrooms located throughout. The bathrooms themselves are clean, at least at the beginning of the show. The seating around the arena is quite good for a show. Seats are not too small and there is just enough leg room. If you are very tall, I am sure you will not like the amount of leg room. The acoustics for both shows were impressive. In some venues, you can get a weird reverb or just a stale sound, but here, it was full bore. The only negative for the arena is the area around it. You have to go 3 – 4 blocks away in order to find a restaurant or a bar. There is no designated area for über drivers after the show, at least none that I saw and none that could be pointed out to me. There is an area for taxi cabs however. Like many of the ‘new arenas’, this one lacks that great character of the buildings/barns of old, but that is not necessarily a negative. If you are going to a show, you can do much worse than the United Center. I will be back again for sure.

Watched the Midwest regional games during the NCAA men’s basketball tournament here. It was a great venue with plenty of seats and the view wasn’t that bad from the bleeder section. Parking wasn’t difficult since there are plenty outside and nearby at other lots. Overall I had a good time watching the game though my team lost!

A week ago tonight, My friends and I caught the Bulls/Rockets game at the United Center(UC). This was part of my birthday turn-up in Chicago and my first time witnessing an NBA game live. What made it more special is that the Bulls organization is celebrating their 50th anniversary in the league this year… dope, right?! We arrived at the stadium early to beat traffic. Ok, I didn’t realize how massive Chicago is. The drive from Orland Park to downtown was not a hop, skip and jump like it would be in St. Louis… sheesh! Anyway. As we waited outside, we marvelled at Jordan’s statute, and of course, took pictures. It was an honor to be at the UC, I mean, it’s the house that Jordan built! We didn’t wait too long before entering the building. As you’re going through security(which is thorough), Pippen’s statute is literally perched close to the metal detectors, lol. 50th anniversary banners draped near the entrance and you couldn’t miss them. That night was to commiserate the Hispanic community(«Los Bulls»), so there was live music as you walked through the stadium. We saw the championship trophies, browsed the apparel shop, etc. Oh, and can we give the UC a hand for the FREEWI-FI ?! The UC is your standard, large stadium. It’s nice, big and bright. Easily manageable to walk around. The staff was very orderly and helpful with answering inquiries and finding our seats. Our section was clean and the food was really good. And speaking of food, my boyfriend went off to get me some nachos and a drink. I assumed it would be just a regular container of nachos… NO! He came back with what looked like a damn gogi bowl, lol! No exaggeration, my eyes bucked as he approached me. Albeit, these supreme nachos(don’t quote me on the name) came at $ 15, but for the size of them and how much food was in the bowl, I had no quarrel with the price. 2 – 4 ppl could literally share these nachos, no bs. I’m actually thinking about that bowl now, lol! Anywho, I enjoyed myself thoroughly. The game was good and the energy in the room was exciting. Chicagoans do not play when it comes the Bulls. The UC will definitely be a memorable experience.

I took my sister to a playoff Hawks game for her birthday. It was for Game 2 of 2013 Western Conference Semifinals versus the Red Wings. I did not realize the detriment I would be causing to my own team in the WCF. Had I known, I would have stayed away. The hotel we stayed at was in the heart of downtown and the subway required a transfer. It was a bit of a walk from our exit. We followed people in jerseys, thinking they were heading to the arena, only to find out that they were just going about their day(haha) The arena is confusing. Walking in, I was instantly overwhelmed. Again, we put our trust in Blackhawks fans to guide us to the upper bowl seating area. We ended up going up stairwells that led to locked doors. It was a bit frustrating. I wanted to be there for the start of the national anthem, but instead, I was running down incorrect corridors. We finally reach our seats in time to hear the tail end of the anthem. The seats reminded me of Dodger Stadium, in that you can walk behind the back row. This was where our seats were. Behind us was one of the standing room only sections. Our entire row was empty, but security would watch the fans in this area like a hawk. Anyone who would sit down would immediately have to show their ticket to the usher. Hawks lost that game. Though it was a playoff atmosphere with two original six teams, it wasn’t the same. The championship banners that line the rafters were impressive. The crowd was loud and the stadium was booming. I left with a pint glass souvenir and a red rally towel. Little did I know we would be trading Cups with them that year. The only way I will come back would be for a Kings game. No more jinxes. GKG!

I’ve been here so many times and I can’t believe I have yet to review it. I have been here for Blackhawks games, Bulls games, quite a few performances like NSYNC, Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey, so I think I can write a fair review right about now. I have also sat in the main stadium in various seats as well as the Penthouse suites on top which are my personal favorite and are excellent for private parties since you can move around at your leisure. The venue itself is huge and there’s always a line when you arrive where they scan your tickets and check your bags so be prepared for that. It’s huge and always crowded so also be prepared for that. If you’re sitting in the main seats there are lots of food and beverage options and have recently expanded to include some of my newer favorites such as big star and leghorn chicken, so they literally have it all and of course all the usual fast food joints and all the other delicious crap you want to spend your money on while at a game. What I like about the penthouse suites is they have little couches, a mini fridge a little table so it’s perfect for entertaining and you don’t have to be glued the entire time to the concert or whichever game you are watching. You can also cater in just about anything from a fast food type experience doing mac and cheese, chicken fingers and sliders to a fancy wine and cheese soirée with salads and all the fixings. I also know they have a dessert cart that they twirl around as you’re not allowed to bring in your own dessert so there’s literally something heavenly there for everyone. Overall, I love coming here and plan on coming here in the future as I always leave having a good time. I try to leave right before the game ends otherwise, you will hit major traffic coming out as a million people will also leave at the same time, so keep that in mind as well. Otherwise, United Center, thank you for representing the whole spirit of Chicago, we love you!

We went to the United Center last night. My friend Kim invited me to the game for my belated birthday. Yeah the Bulls finally won a game, plus they scored over 100 points so that means a free Big Mac. Dougie(Buckets) McDermott scored a pro career high tonight of 30 points. Derek Rose had a good game too with 26 points. It’s good to see them win one as they haven’t been playing too good lately. As usual we had some great seats on the floor at the end of the court. As usual it was a fun evening especially since The Bulls won.

I think Suzie Z said it best when she called the United Center a «necessary evil.» I came here with a group of my friends to see Disney on Ice. Hey– don’t judge me! Anyways, I know we live in dangerous times. I get it that the United Center needs to take every precaution against these crazy people by checking every person and every bag who comes through those doors. But you’d think that in anticipation of crowds of parents with diaper bags they could have at least opened up all the security scanners! Of the six by our entrance only three were open. It took us almost an hour to get inside and we ended up missing the first 20 minutes of the show. Way to go United Center!

I mean it’s the UC. The freakin mad house. As long as the bulls and hawks play here it will always be worth more. The prices for the food and beer, not unlike any other chicago stadium, are outrageous. The food is pretty good and they have a pretty versatile selection of beers. As a venue, its ok. The skyboxes are pretty awesome. Make no mistake though, those amazing vibes and rushes you get at hawks and bulls games are not just the UC but a mix of the madhous history and the amazing chicago FANS!

This place was disgusting. Took my grand daughter here for Disney on Ice the bathrooms on the 300 level stank! They smelled like urine, feces & mildew. We attended the first show today this morning and there was knats flying everywhere too afraid to eat anything while viewing the show which didn’t make my Lil girl happy at all. I’m pretty sure the other level bathrooms were clean! Be careful wash your hands hope a knat isn’t floating in your drink or lands on your hot dog.

FREEWIFIISAMAZING! I came here for a Bull’s game and BlackHawks game over a weekend I visited Chicago. I forgot to print tickets for one of the games and they had a printing Kiosk. The line was super long though… Would be nice if they had a couple printers rather than JUSTONE at the entrance. Overall it was great. Plenty of concession stands, so it’s never a far walk to get what you want. Food/drinks are expensive but at what stadium is it ever cheap?! The venue was much better than expected.

for a building that’s 20 years old, i must say it looks great!!! nice building, great views… only complaint about the view in the 300’s section is the plexiglass in the way… but other than that, nice venue… the food is a bit expensive however… the workers were polite, and overall i enjoyed my time watching a game there…

As far as stadiums go, this one is nice. It’s easy to get around and offers food and drinks, although they are quite pricey. The seats vary, depending on where you sit, and I’ve sat in a variety of places. Don’t expect much legroom anywhere except a box, but if you’re up in the 300s section be prepared to be uncomfortable. The thing that makes this stadium great is the Bulls, the Blackhawks and all the great performers who come through the stadium. When you’re seeing such great acts, who cares about the leg room or $ 8 hot dogs. I only wish they had more food options, like some stadiums I’ve been to in other cities, but again, when you’re there for a great game or act, who cares about the food.

Big, clean and just all around impressive. Easy to walk around in and find what you need. Sure, our seats might as well have been on the ceiling, but the view wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be and overall feel of this place was just a lot of positive energy and crazy Bulls fans. Great experience for a first basketball game and finally seeing Benny the Bull made my night.

The United Center a nice stadium for sporting events and concerts. It is pretty standard when it comes to large arenas, but that’s not a bad thing. It just means that there are certain features that we can expect: a circular, tiered shape, ushers on each level, overpriced though not great quality food, extremely expensive merchandise, clean restrooms, etc. I’ve noticed that you have a pretty good view even from the upper level. Getting to the United Center is pretty simple. You can take the Madison bus straight there, and there is a line of buses waiting to pick people up at the end of an event, which stops at Ogilvie and Millennium Station as well as Red and Blue line stops downtown. You can also walk over from the Ashland Pink/Green Line station(about 10 – 15 minutes). I have never driven here, but I know that parking is very expensive($ 20+).

Ive been a long time Bulls fan and so I was very excited to be able to attend my first live Chicago Bulls Basketball game at United Center on my birthday! We were seated at section 233 row 7 seats 5 – 6 which gave a decent view for less than $ 200. Benny the Bull was really fun to see but seems to be limited mostly to the 100s level…1) Taking pictures with Michael Jordan Statue and the other well-known Statues both outside the entrances and inside United Center; 2) The stadiums atmosphere when announcing the starting-lineup and pre-game ceremonies; 3) Parachute drop and Big Benny the Bull Inflatable that also shoots out Bulls t-shirts; 4) Dunkin Donuts race-win if the character on your ticket wins the race on the Jumbotron; 5) Chik-fil-A– win a sandwich if the opposing team’s’ player misses both free throw shots when it’s flashed on the Jumbotron; 6) Winning a Free Big Mac by the Bulls scoring over 100 pts and winning the Game-are just the priceless other reasons that make being a part of a Bulls Game so memorable!!! We had some beers and for food– Big Star had some awesome Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos!

I went here for the Bull’s game against the Pistons. They really know how to entertain the crowd. First, the Bulls are a fun team to watch, Butler is incredible(and had 40 points this game). Food and beer are expensive, but at least is good. I had steak sandwich and some delicious potato chips at the Ironworks. Really solid alcohol choices. The entertainment is good. Benny the Bull is a great mascot, very active. There was a Star Wars theme that night so Chewbacca and Darth Vader were also running around. They give out lots of t-shirts to those on 100 level with parachutes and guns, but nothing if you are on 300 level(the t-shirt crew has cannons and slingshots, but not capable to shoot very far). The souvenir selection is not great and they had too many people selling lottery tickets. Still good place to watch a game.

Came alllll the way over here just because hubs wanted to see Michael Jordan’s statute. The statue was a statue. The end. I should have my husband right this review because he could go on and on about the history and magic behind United center. But all I know is that there was a Luke Bryant concert the night we went and people were waiting in a line outside in the dreary cold. In my opinion, that seemed very cruel. Chicago has such great sports teams. Makes me proud to be able to say I was born here!!!

I have been here three times for their concerts. All three were Madonna shows. This has always been a fantastic venue to see a concert. Before the show, the employees clearly do a fantastic job at cleaning and organizing everything. I understand that there are always a lot of people there and that some can get a little wild. Therefore, the place can get a little messy after the show. The employees do a great job at cleaning up as much as they can before the show is over. Therefore, I have always felt comfortable coming to this arena. The ticket and food employees are always friendly. They are also helpful at helping me find my seat when I need help. They are also great at keeping the line moving along quickly. That way, I do not have to wait terribly long in line when lines are long. I do not order food or drinks often, but when I do, the food is served to me fresh, and they taste delicious. The overall sound quality in this venue is fantastic. The acoustics and the surround sounds are great. I am always able to hear everything fine without any annoying echoes or anything that can deter from the overall concert experience. As long as this place puts on good concerts, I will continue coming here. I look forward to seeing more fun concerts in the future. One of these times, I will go there for something other than Madonna.

We went to the United Center for the Madonna Rebel Heart Tour and had an amazing time. The only bad part was the Will Call are for the VIP tickets. It was faster to get in if we would have printed the tickets. Other than that things went good. The people were really nice and festive. The food was good(Chicago Dog) and everything was not too overpriced. We had a group of friends attend the concert and everyone had great things to say about the United Center. We sat in section 101 row 1 and it was AMAZING!

The United Center is the home of the Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks. Had the privilege to visit a couple of weeks ago. Too bad there were no games taking place because both sports were not in season. So, I had to stay outside. Aside from the construction taking place, the building was quite impressive on the outside. I would guess that the interior of the building is just as nice. My favorite thing about the United Center is the statue of Michael Jordan which is simply awesome!

Super friendly employees and a great spot for watching a game or just people watching. Perhaps I was a little spoiled since we were in a suite with our own personal host. Great views, nice seating and posh all around. It’s really not that expensive either for a playoff game. We paid $ 125 per person plus catered food and drinks. I would totally do it again. So, if you can get a group together, get yourself a suite and enjoy with your group. Perfect for team building or for a birthday.
