Update: Installation crew — 5 stars! Professional and polite. Tried to get things done in timely manner. So I am averaging at 3 stars for the company (from my prior 1 star review).
Advise for anyone who is using this or any other similar company — you most likely will have one revision after another one, yet your contract will not reflect specific revisions but rather «scope of work». Be sure that your contract is linked to a specific proposal# to avoid the mess I got into. With departure of initial sales person things went sour and there was noone to blame. Just poor sign out from him to another person. Anyhow, owner of the company was able to work things out that although weren’t ideal but helped to finish a project.
Once again, after dust settles the most important point is that system is up and running.
I usually never write negative reviews (especially with one star) but TvTI got my blood boil today!
We had good communication in a very beginning till a sales person moved to a different state and another guy took over. As soon as he took over the price for the project started to go up and up and increased by 25% (although we eliminated number of expensive items from initial proposal that should’ve bring the price down) !!! When I brought it up initially I was assured that it will be all fixed up. Oh well, now as we finishing construction and there is no resolution to it I am seriously considering taking legal actions for misleading and unethical practice. I choose them from Unilocal based on great reviews. I think it is my obligation to report it back to Unilocal that over time they changed for the worse. Do not know what happened with a company but with business practice like this they will be loosing many customers.

Well time for this business to get an updated review because the ratings below are not the service you’ll get today. Let me put into context the review; the job we contracted TVTI for was a five figure job and it was not the lowest quote we received but I am a believer you get what you pay for. The job was for some installation work, TV wiring throughout the house and outside entertainment (TV and speakers). We decided that we would go with TVTI for the job because we wanted high-​end service, which is what their quote reflected. What we got was a high-​end bill for poor service from start to finish. There was zero communication from them without us reaching out to hear how the progress was going, we constantly had to pick up trash left from the work they were doing, they made basic measuring errors that caused the job to be pushed from a few weeks job to a three month job, the attitude was unapologetic and there was zero willingness to negotiate the bill down after the constant stream of mistakes. My wife and I are not uptight people and understand things happen but when they happen at every turn you start to wonder what you are paying for.
There are a lot of companies to choose from in this space, as a person who just experienced TVTI’s customer service and management I would strongly suggest that you look at other options. This was amateur hour combined with a high-​end price tag, not the combination you are looking for in the tech space.

I’ve always experienced fantastic results with tunnel vision. David Welles and Brandon Keane pay great attention to every detail. If you are in the market for one system to handle multiple rooms or if you just need a really cool system for the living room do the control 4 and you won’t be disappointed.
The thing is, as they will tell you these systems need to be installed in a well ventilated area or they risk burning out. Either plan for that when you are building a new place or remodeling an old one.

Nothing less than an excellent experience. This company replaced a previous proviider that I believe performed unethically and disabled my system. Tunnel Vision has been responsive, professional and fairly priced for the work they have done (no, not cheap at all, but this type of work isn’t). You have my strong recommendation to give this group a call for Control4 service.
