This is a lovely yoga studio, so different from the standard gym and corporate yoga operations that are everywhere. The studio is in Maretta’s home, and it’s a lovely, flower-filled, peaceful place. It’s small, so you get personal attention, and there’s never been a problem with overcrowding when I’ve gone. To be on the safe side, you should call before going the first time. You should bring your own mat, but the studio is well supplied with bolsters, blocks, straps etc so you don’t need to bring any of that. The classes are really good. I’ve been taking the basic(beginner) class. I told Maretta about my carpal tunnel issues and she’s been great about suggesting alternative poses that don’t cause more pain. The class is challenging but in a good way. There is a lot of attention on breathing through the poses that helps with relaxation. I feel so much better afterwards. Overall this is a wonderful place to do yoga. Maretta is very caring and personable, and the whole thing adds up to a great mind-body experience.

Fast-forward 5.5 years after committing to my regular TriYoga practice: I have not experienced nerve symptoms or tendinitis in years, avoided surgery, and am stronger than ever!(And I had another child in between.) In fact, I have certified as a TriYoga Basics teacher with Maretta and have been teaching. What a wonderful«reset» to my health and life, and I’m so happy to share the journey with others seeking the benefits!

Maretta is inclusive, welcoming and attentive. She made me feel very welcome when I went for the first time. She also has a great home studio and is very professional.

I felt lucky to live so close to a yoga teacher. Maretta teaches in her home and is flexible and understanding when it comes to student circumstances. Her teaching is organized. I enjoyed her classes although at times it felt repetitive and annoying but that’s because I hate some poses. Those are the poses that I precisely needed. I was with her for a year and progressed through several levels. She is thorough in her teaching and i believe safety is important to her. I left Hyde Park so I no longer take classes with her. She is a lovely person as well.
