Tracy is a gem! I get a color every 4 weeks and my hair always looks great. This is my go to place for regular color and cut as well as special event styling. The atmosphere is fun, lively and luxurious with out being pretentious or judgy! All the stylists do great work but Tracy and her daughter Sheena really shine. It’s a high end salon with a neighborhood vibe — great all-​around!

I’ve been going to see Sheena (the owner’s daughter) for almost 3 years ago. She’s amazing! I feel like we’ve been through so much together from blonde hair to vibrant red and then back to light blonde again. Never once was my hair orange or breaking off like I’ve seen so many of my other friends suffer from when flip flopping between extreme hair colors. My color has always turned out just they way I wanted it to.
As impressed as I am with her coloring skills, I must say my favorite thing that Sheena has done for me are my Klix Hair Extension! I’ve been wearing them for about a year now and absolutely love the way they look. I get so many compliments and it’s all thanks to her. She’s a life saver and always extremely accommodating when I need to squeeze in a last minute appointment to have them moved up.
So glad I stumbled into Tracy Adduci’s salon a few years back, it’s by far the best salon in the city!

I’ve lived in many cities and I always struggle to find a good salon with reasonable price. In the past, I just went back home during each break to my old stylist. But at Tracy Adduci in Chicago, I found my favorite hair style! I had my first haircut with Jade and then Stacy. They are both so amazing! They both understand exactly what I need. For years, I’ve been struggling with my bulky right side hair, and they helped me solve this problem! I feel like you can finally call a place home when you find your favorite salon.

Leah was great, I had a haircut and hair repairment treatment and she was super friendly but also did exactly what I asked for.
They greeted me at the door with coffee and tea, and right away started with the service.
In less than one hour I was out and pretty happy with their service.
Tip: Check Groupon, they usually have good discounts and coupons for the basic treatments.

I should have known better than to get bangs so partially my fault, but now they are too thin, I look like I am 6 years old and a canine and I’m not gonna be able to leave the house for another three weeks and I have a few fences to mend so to speak so that’s not ideal. I had said I wanted bangs that folded to the side but they ended up being the straight down kind. It’s really not a flattering look for me. So now my hair is my new obsession which I guess is good since it’ll push away all the men that I’d be likely to potentially find myself obsessing about. Perhaps now my academic career will triumph and I can fulfill my dads dream of his only daughter being a doctor instead of a tart. Even though I’m a public law major… idkkkk dude

I have had several great experiences with Bianca — she has transformed my hair into what feels right for me right now! With just a few words from me, she came up with an idea that was perfect for me… and I’ve been a loyal customer ever since. One of my daughters has also been going to Bianca for both cut and color for 18 months, and has been very happy with the results!
But… the real reason I’m writing this Unilocal review today is because of the amazing, empowering and thoughtful experience that my other daughter had last week. This team took such good care of her… after a mis-​guided visit to another salon (and believe me we’ll never go there again). Bianca took a look at the mess she was working with, made a recommendation, consulted with her colleagues, and a true team effort between Bianca, Gina and Tracy resulted in a beautiful cut color and style. Yes, it took several hours, but we were prepared for that. I can say that Tracy Adduci now has three clients for life… for sure. The pricing was beyond reasonable, considering the time and effort they put into this cut color and style. My daughter looked beautiful, and beyond that and more importantly, felt confident as she left the salon. I’m treated like a model when I’m there. It’s a fun experience in a beautiful salon, with a very positive environment. Enjoy your time there. This team LOVES what they do, and want to ensure that each client has a great experience. :)

I love this salon! Bianca is the absolute best with curly hair. I have never had so many compliments every time I leave her chair. My mom even loves my hair every time. She’s pleasant, quick and makes me look my best. Love her!!!

I have been going to Bianca for over a year now. She is fantastic! I love getting highlights but my color always seems to turn red/​brassy but not with Bianca! She does wonders with color even if you have stubborn hair. She gives great recommendations on what she thinks would look good for you and helps to build your dream look. Bianca is such a sweetheart and so fun to work with. She takes the time to get to know you and makes you feel like family. I would highly recommend Bianca for color and cut! She is so talented and very professional! My hair has never been happier :)

Bought a groupon here and had my hair cut by Stephanie. $ 54 for haircut, conditioning treatment, and blow dry. She was great. Really took her time and tried to figure out what I was looking for in a cut. The conditioning treatment is really just something they sprayed in and let sit for a few minutes but I will say it did seem to make my hair softer. Overall it was a pleasant experience and I’ll probably be back even without a groupon.

I was nervous going to a new salon after moving to the city. Tracy was great! She really made me feel comfortable and she took her time, not rushing through my appointment. She took great care and I will definitely be returning!

I bought a Groupon for this salon to do a dramatic chop from long to short hair and was incredibly happy with the results. I’ve had long wavy layers all my life and was ready for something new. I’ve never had a go-​to hair stylist because they all did essentially the same thing no matter how much money I spent, and up to this point most of them have been hesitant to make this big of change for a new client and have played it safe.
Carly did an absolutely amazing job. During the initial consultation she laid out how she planned to do the cut which made me feel very comfortable with the process. She did both a wet and a dry cut to refine the length, then added a bunch of layers and texture which gave my hair the volume that it never had before. It’s been a week since I got my cut so I’ve done it on my own a few times and I could not be more satisfied with the results. The amount of compliments I’ve received are astounding. Carly is fantastic, I will definitely be back… I may have FINALLY found my go-​to stylist (yay!!).

I got introduced to this salon through groupon but im definitely going there again. Had a great experience. Bianca is awesome. My hair are super sensitive and very long. She took such great care of them while giving a great haircut.

I saw a Groupon deal for this place and saw the good reviews on Unilocal so I decided to give it a try. Since I live in the loop, this is a very convenient location to go to anyway. Overall it was a good experience with just a few things that could be improved on, especially considering I was kind of expecting minimal service for going in with a Groupon.
The place: Great location, and nice décor. It really feels like a pretty upscale salon.
The support staff: They were very nice and scheduling an appointment was easy.
The actual haircut: My stylist was Stephanie. She is nice and attentive, and I really like how she personally washed and massaged my hair instead of having a designated hair washer lady do it like some other salons. I like the cut she gave me, which frankly is just a trim instead of a major style change, but I’m not a huge fan of how my hair started curling outwards instead of inwards after she blew it dry. Thankfully that part can be easily fixed after another wash and blow dry session. She also didn’t make any chitchat during the entire session. Some people might prefer it that way, but personally I like it better if I can have a friendly conversation with my stylist too.
Random thing: I was a little ticked off by the cheap-​look plastic combs they were using, especially some of them were missing teeth too. Or maybe it’s just me being high-​maintenance again.
Conclusion: I like this place, but I don’t think I will make it my go-​to salon.

I’ve been going to Sheena for a couple of years now. She’s always done an amazing job and I continue to refer my friends to her and the salon. Keep it up!

I’ve been seeing Bianca for a few years now and love her. I have thick wavy hair, and in the past I had a hard time finding a stylist who I felt consistently did a good job with my hair, and so I was very happy to find Bianca. Not only does she do a great job, but she’s also very personable and I like that she applies new techniques she’s learned to change things up a bit. The reception staff at Tracy Adduci are also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this salon, and in particular, Bianca!

I read all of the reviews and those with inflammatory comments should be ASHAMED of themselves.
I was recently looking for a new salon my area as my stylist had moved out of the city. I found this salon in a basic search and they were able to fit me in.
I expressed to the receptionist that I was scared having someone else cut my hair so she put me with Tracy the owner.
From the moment I walked in I felt comfortable, the girl at the desk was warm and funny and Tracy took me back right away.
She was warm, kind and put me at ease.
Also she was quick. I have a complicated haircut and large style,
She nailed it! I honestly couldn’t be happier however I am sure that if for some reason I needed to go back for a fix she would be more than accommodating.
They have made a new loyalist in Chicago.
As an aside shame on those for extreme defamation of the salon. Not everything in life is perfect but such extreme anger makes me not think you have a point, but that perhaps you just like to complain.
Give this salon a try you will not be disappointed

Best haircut I’ve had in a while! I had a groupon and was excited when I made the appointment and had Carly since other Unilocalers talked about her. She listened to what I wanted and we chatted the entire time which is always nice! I walked out with a great cut and potentially a go to stylist (considering I never stick to one place). Great experience overall and the groupon price was just right!

I went into this salon because I saw the Aveda logo in the window and I was out of shampoo. I was warmly greeted by the receptionist who was super pleasant and provided excellent customer service. If I could give her 5 stars, I would. She’s the reason I booked my appointment in the first place. I asked to see an expert colorist and someone who understands curly hair.
My appointment was with Sheena. She was nice enough, but I honestly can’t say she gave me a warm ‘n fuzzy feeling while I was there. I didn’t feel like she was really interested in what I had to say about what I was looking for. Plus I felt a bit rushed. She really didn’t take time to get an understanding of what I really wanted. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she was very pregnant… she was probably uncomfortable and distracted, which would be reasonable. But then she began to complain/​gossip about other stylists at the salon. It seemed unprofessional to me. I’m also not thrilled with the color job I received (partial highlights). It seemed very amateurish and not really what I had asked for (makes sense, since she really didn’t seem to hear what I was saying about what I wanted). I took a few days to think about it and really look at it and I’m just not happy with it. I’ve already made an appointment elsewhere and I won’t be back here.

Had a Groupon to get a cut and conditioning treatment. Stephanie was wonderful and took the time to discuss how I wanted my hair done and to really massage the conditioning treatment in. She didn’t try to rush me through my appointment because of the Groupon, which i found is sometimes the case at other places. She did a fantastic job on the cut and gave me great layers. I had super long, dry, and damaged hair and I needed a change. So happy Stephanie was able to give me a great new look!
I highly recommend visiting the salon and Stephanie. I know I will be back next time I need a trim.
