Had a date night here. From the time we parked our car to the time we left it was a great show. I would highly recommend taking family or friends or a date to this show. Definitely something different. Food was decent as well(I had the prime rib).

Don’t bother. Waste of time and money. The food is awful, mass produced and ypu can’t get a refill on ant beverage.

We had my mother’s birthday party here Saturday and it was the best party we have ever been to. The staff is amazing, the food is great, and the entertainment is to die for. I have been here twice and I will be back and i will bring more people with me.

I hate to do this but I wasn’t impressed. The food was atrocious! I ordered the prime rib medium and it was served well done. Also it was under seasoned. The green beans were boring and the only edible thing served was the baked potato. The cheesecake I got for dessert was disgusting. It was crumbly and not good. The price is astronomical for what you get. I think $ 50 per person would suffice for what you get. The price was off putting especially since the food was so terrible and the show was… eh. Like I said… the show was eh. I saw this show about 15 years ago and nothing has changed! It’s the same old show for the last 15 years. The actors and actresses were ok and their service was also ok… which gave them the extra star. I don’t believe I’ll be returning here.

The show starts from the minute the cab drops you off on the sidewalk. There are some performers there to talk and entertain as you wait for the doors to open. Also you have to give them a password to get inside the«speakeasy». The food was okay, this place wouldn’t survive as a restaurant but that’s not why they are here, this is a dinner theatre and the food gets the job done. The staff is pretty much in character the whole time starting from explaining the menu to you in their exaggerated 1920’s gangster accents. We were soon to learn that the people serving are also the performers in the show. The other performers also walk around during pre-dinner and interact. During dinner they were trying to hawk a lot of their various souvenirs which definitely got annoying but at least once the show started this stopped. The show was a lot of fun. A lot of the jokes and singing was cheesy and the next Taylor Swift is not going to be found here but it was still enjoyable. The audience participation portions were hilarious. The staff was great and really made sure that we had a fun evening. The food could be improved, the evening will be pricey and you aren’t seeing a Broadway quality show but this is perfect for a special occasion or as a tourist activity where you just want to laugh for a few hours. Highly recommended!

I came here with my company and I was blown out of the water by how much fun this place was! I loved most of their characters my favorite being the handsome Slim, the ravishing Patsy, and lest not forget Mona! I really enjoyed their performance and I was a fan of their meatball lasagna. My favorite parts were that they provided props and even taught you a few dance moves. Absolutely 10⁄10 satisfaction rate. I will warn you that those prop guns are scary when shot!

While the performers were totally on point, I can only give 3 stars because my food was not good at all. I came here for a Bachelorette party and they were hilarious and fun. At one point, Lefty even stopped singing to tell my friend he’d get her drink after his song. They always stayed in character and each and every one of them were super fun and the host was phenomenal. Everyone else liked their food, but mine was a giant disappointment. I got the salmon but it was severely overcooked. It said it came with a lemon butter sauce, but the sauce tasted like a cheese sauce and it was not a good combination. There were also a surprising amount of bones in the fish, which while they can’t control that, it did take away from the experience. Ultimately, I would definitely still recommend this place to people.

Great place to celebrate pretty much everything! Somewhat on a pricey side per person, it’s worth it as it includes dinner and an awesome show. The performers are funny, entertaining and definitely engaging. The food is just ok. Don’t expect any fancy preparations. It will cost you extra for alcohol, appetizers and upgraded dessert. You really just come here for the atmosphere and entertainment.

I took my wife for a surprise dinner night out. Wow what a great time. Thanks Rocco for a great time. All of the staff were great. The food was ok, the drinks were very good! The show was super, very funny. Thanks for making my wife’s night great. Everyone should check this place out, you will have a great time. Also dress like you are in the 1920 era it makes it even more fun.

This was a fun, niche, little place to enjoy an evening. The food was good, the drinks went down smooth. The show was a little slow paced and a little dated but overall it was a great time.

First time to Tommy Gun’s & we had a great time! The actors were hilarious & stayed in character at all times. Our waitress, Twinkles, was terrific! Great way to spend Valentine’s Day! Food was pretty good– they could upgrade from ice burg lettuce & have nicer table settings, but all in all it was a good meal & a good experience.

So I’m a sucker for dinner shows and this one has been by far my favorite one, partly because I was so involved in the fun there were moments during dinner I was legitimately afraid I was going to be arrested for having HOOCH! It’s pretty obvious the staff here loves what they do and are quite good at it. From beginning to end, the staff is in character. Granted, there are many cheeseball and corn moments but overall it’s interactive, it’s lively and it’s a great outing to change things up from your usual dinners out.

They have parking lot which was awesome! If you get there early you don’t have to pay for street parking. The staff was fun and friendly. They would take pictures with you and did a great job at staying in character. I would say for a dinner and show the price was right. I didn’t like the salmon(lost a star for food) or the iceberg lettuce salad. Salad was bland and the fish was over cooked. The show and drinks were nice. I think everyone should experience this form of entertainment. Nice addition for Chicago.

Customer service was amazing these people had you leaving with a smile. Greeting you at the parking lot and literally walking you out to your car. Got a taste of how classy things must have been in the 20’s. Food was good and entertainment was cheesy but lively. If you’re sick of the usual and adventure try this. Id come back here just to see the crew again. Lovely.

I love this place!!! The part that we need a password to get in it’s so much fun. All staffs in there are very into character. Love the gangster theme. The special cocktail taste amazing. The whole show is about prohibition and it’s a very good comedy. Highly recommend to everyone. A must go when you are in Chicago.

I didn’t really know what to expect but the food was satisfying & the staff was very attentive! The draw of course, is the show~which was a ton of fun! If you’re going in expecting this posh/extravagant Chicago Theater spectacle then go there! This is for the down-to-earth people who don’t get out to the theater often enough to enjoy it! It is a baudville-style act so relax the heck up! All I can say is, I had a fun time; I was full & the staff treated me like I was family~TRUESTORY!!!; D

3.5 «Watch the hands, Toots!» That was my ‘welcome’ to Tommy Gun’s Garage, from«Gloves» — the charming yet threatening, gun-toting doorman.(I had my hands in my coat pockets — apparently I was suspicious…) Note: I was taken here as a surprise, so this was all coming completely unexpected. We made it past«Gloves» into an open warehouse-type space with exposed brick walls, a big stage with piano and drum set, mob newspaper clippings and photos, and rows and rows of little checkered-tablecloth-covered tables. I do think the atmosphere could be improved a bit — less tables, lower lights, more 20’s décor. We were lead to our table and promptly greeted by our waitress, Sexy Sadie, who was all dolled up in 20’s flapper apparel. We ordered a bottle of hooch(wine) and waited for the evening to begin, not really knowing what to expect. An outing to Tommy Gun’s includes the show/entertainment and a full dinner(soup or salad, bread, entrée with veg + potato + coffee + «dessert» — fyi, Tommy, I don’t consider a scoop of rainbow sherbert a proper dessert. That’s a *side* to a real dessert.) Food was decent; not great — we both started with the creamy chicken soup and bread; I ordered the salmon as my entrée and the man ordered prime rib; both came with a baked potato and mixed veg. The show started up sometime when entrees were wrapping up and consisted of a variety of performances and skits ranging from flapper singers, T. Gun’s cast skits, audience participation skits(please don’t pick me; please don’t pick me; please don’t pick me), and even a few surprises from the police looking for illegal hooch. It was all fun spirited and the cast really looked and sounded the part — especially the host, Tommy. There were several larger groups of people who came dressed the part, and seemed to really get into it, i.e. photo ops with guns, feather boas, old-timey car… This would be a great place to take a mob-history buff. Also fun for an out of the ordinary night out.
