The Power of Cheer

Mattrick Swayze and Beaver City from the Power of Cheer led a «cheer camp» for my bachelorette party. Words cannot possibly express how much pure energy and excitement they delivered! They asked my maid of honor to give them some details about me so they could incorporate them in a cheer and dance. The 3 cheers they taught us were absolutely hysterical! They were a mix of sexy and cute but were simple enough for all the girls to learn. They included details about my fiancé and I in one cheer and focused more on our honeymoon for another. They also brought copies of the cheer for all the girls. The dances were by far my favorite part! They asked many of my friends for their favorite «jenny» dance-​move. Mattrick made sure that the songs we danced to were songs my friends and I liked. We went to a park for our cheer camp and it certainly didn’t hurt that the weather was perfect. My bridesmaids brought bagels and mimosas for us to snack and sip on throughout the practice. It was actually pretty funny to see various people stop for some sassy afternoon entertainment! After learning our cheers and dances, my friends and I periodically rehearsed throughout the night– at the preparty, in the limo, on the stage at the club… It was such a blast!
I highly recommend hiring The Power of Cheer for any fun-​filled gathering that could use a little spice! They truly MADE my bachelorette party what it was and every single girl kept asking me how I found them. I saw them perform at the Windy City Rollers a while back and new immediately they were absolutely perfect for my bachelorette party. I know they have a cheerobix class and I will definitely be on the lookout for that. They are amazing!!! LOVE them!

I went to the Windy City Rollers season opener last night, and had never been to the derby before. The whole night was crazy, awesome fun, but the best part was the Power of Cheer half time show! They did a choreographed performance to vintage Madonna and it was equal parts amazing and hilarious! My friends and I fell in love with Mattrick Swayze, and will definitely be going to more bouts to see him and the squad perform again!
