I first had a sample of these great cookies when our corporate office bought them to serve at our company meeting. Since then I have purchased a number of cookie tins for birthday/get well gifts for family & friends. They are freshly baked and shipped very quickly. All have really enjoyed these treats. The price is reasonable and some even include free shipping. They offer a variety of great baked goods. I believe this organization is doing a great service by employing adults with disabilities. Everyone needs to feel productive and useful. Two great reasons to try these cookies/baked goods if you have not done so. You can order a sample of cookies inc shipping for $ 10.00.

Today was the 1st time I heard about them. I was walking through the farmers market and I was handed a sample of the cajun corn crunch, soda bread, and maybe a zuchiini bread?. I was instandly hooked on the cajun corn crunch and I bought a bag to bring back to the office. I think i am going to be a regular customer looking for this stand at the farmers mkt.

The past summer was my first year of making weekly trips to the Farmer’s Market in Daley Plaza where this bakery had their stand. They gave out samples of the Caramel Corn Puffs and since then I was hooked! They weren’t lying when the label mentioned«Warning: Can become habit forming»! I still have yet to try out more of their baked goods!

This is a great place for a great cause… but… The Irish Soda Bread is DIVINE! I am not even Irish(& I am a fallen Catholic) but it does not matter, it’s just that good. If you are Jewish and like Challah, you will like the Soda Bread. If you are Italian & like Panettone, you will like the Soda Bread… and so on, you get the point. If, by some mysterious forces, you won’t like it, no need to worry, they have so many other sweets… all so sinfully good!

I love the cookies from Hearts and Flour. They have quite a few delicious items, but those cookies… mmmmmmmmmm, so yum! AND… the best part is that the proceeds go to such a worthy cause. Talk about having your cookies and eating them too!!! Also they have really good Irish soda bread. Shopping here is a win/win situation!

get. these. cookies. AWAYFROMME. There’s one left. I put it on the far corner of my desk. I’ve tried hiding it behind the phone, but the cellophane cannot shield the smell. I mourn the loss of the others more now, as actual understanding of the coming inevitability settles in. Great restraint, no. prudence. is required. anyway. Some pretty girl brings me these every week. Coincidentally, after having had to increase the duration of my workout routine, there’s more time to ponder the«oatmeal raisin» vs. «peanut butter» cookie debate.

The best brownies I have EVER had. Tried them for the first time at the Daley Plaza Farmer’s market in the summer and was HOOKED! Can’t get enough of them and waiting to try the other desserts. A good cause and GREAT brownies! It doesn’t get better than that.

Every year at Christmas, the owner of the company where I work brings in the most amazing trays of cookies, eclairs, handcrafted chocolates and other sweets from Hearts & Flour. And every year the trays get devoured within a day. This year I found myself helplessly addicted to the calling of these little espresso cups made of white chocolate filled with creamy goodness and sprinkles inside. I admit I took 3 of them and ate them in rapid succession. And then there was this little chocolate snowman in a dark chocolate cup. And a sugar-frosted chocolate snowflake in another… Hands trembling… need more chocolate… Now! I kept coming back to the trough… er… tray and eating more and more, hoping other co-workers didn’t take a certain piece I was eyeing before. Am I a pig? No! It’s just that good! Best of all, since the owner is heavily involved with the Misericordia charity, this bakery provides jobs for developmentally disabled adults. I bet Fannie May and Frango’s can’t top that!

Today, I introduced my tastebuds to a homemade brownie from Hearts & Flour bakery. Oh my, how they did like the chocolately goodness. They did a tap dance on my tongue as they surveyed a bit of the chocolate, heart-shaped brownie. Sooo light an airy, not dense and overly decadent. Just the way I like ‘em. Fresh, not hard as a brick like some bakegoods from some bakeries ’round town. I want to be able to enjoy my brownie, not use it as a weapon in a dark alley. The creator of these brownies – the wise baker who tossed a little bit of this and a little bit of that into the mixing bowl – is the understated fashion designer of the bakegood world.
