I’ve been here maybe 3 times since working out here on the pier. I’ve been to the location on Wabash, and of course like the vibe better, but that’s not the fault of this location. The pier, even redone, is still the pier. First time, a month ago, I got the chopped salad with chicken, tossed, and it was pretty tasty. Next time there, a couple of weeks ago, I got the Vietnamese salad, which obviously used very fresh ingredients, but tasted like I was just eating a bowl of cabbage. Just not very interesting taste wise. No spice, tasteless noodles, just bland. Yesterday, I got the turkey sandwich, which again, obviously fresh, clean tasting ingredients, but just not very exciting taste wise to eat. Again, I’ve eaten at the other location and remember enjoying what I had there. Maybe I’m just ordering the wrong stuff. Pastries look great, and I know they serve good coffee. Maybe I’ll stick to those.

I had a very poor experience. The staff is very unfriendly, especially Susie. When I asked a question about the meal that I ordered, she acted like I was stupid and a waste of time. The food took a lot longer than expected to arrive. And when I did get the food, it was not what I had expected. I ordered a Vietnamese salad and when it arrived it was all cabbage and cilantro and barely any rice noodles or chicken, and it tasted vaguely like soap. My friends also ordered salads(ceaser) and they said their’s tasted like soap as well. When I tried to return the disappointing salad, I was chastised for already eating some of it, but after a few attempts, it finally went through and I was told not to bother Susie again. I will never return and I suggest that you do the same

Thank goodness Navy Pier has FINALLY brought some decent food to the food court area. This trendy, upscale café has everything I want and some things I didn’t know I wanted! Butterscotch coffee, bulletproof coffee, a delicious chopped salad, vietnamese salad and avocado toast are all delicious.

Beautiful set up inside of navy pier. I ordered the chicken Ceasar salad and the small side of veggie chili. Everything was satisfactory. But for 17 $ not worth those two items. Im sorry but the small side of soup they give you is not worth the 6.00 they charge for it. Overall my service was fast and friendly.

Landed up at this place accidentally… And tried the Mayan mocha frappé… which was simply amazing with a lil spice. We then went again and experienced their croissants — crispy ham and cheese and the melt-in-your mouth almond croissants. Definetly a place to revisit.

I had the light roast coffee and the Santa Monica turkey sandwich. The coffee was served hot and flavorful. The turkey sandwich was delicious! Very fresh ingredients, special kudos for the crispy arugula, tasty avocado, and soft multigrain bread. Also very filling, made for a good lunch. I will be back.
