I CAN TOUCH MY TOES! Last week I couldn’t even reach the middle of my shins. .. now after three appointments an hour long each (he did not rush me at all) I can move freely. After a shoulder injury years ago, I waited entirely way too long to seek treatment. I’ve been seeing Dr. Medlock & Dr. Ather for a few months now, they have been really great about relieving my shoulder pain and finding the source of the problem. I really dislike the sales approach I have experienced at other places, so I am thankful to have found a team dedicated to the health and well being of their clientele.

Dr. Ather is the first doctor I have treated with who gave me consistency and hope that my lower back condition could be controlled. And now it is.
I had treated with various chiropractors, and even an orthopedic surgeon, with respect to my lower back condition, for the past 15 years. In that time, I have experienced intermittent successes and seemingly more failures in terms of controlling my condition and alleviating pain.
My treatment with Dr. Ather, ongoing now for 2+ years, has helped me tremendously. Before then, it had been a long time that I did not feel back pain on a daily basis. Now, I am virtually pain free and am able to be more active while feeling less pain. The combination of chiropractic care (including ART), his acupuncture treatment, the crucial at home exercises and the occasional nutritional supplement are the essential tools that keep me healthy and feeling good on a daily basis.

An avid believer of chiropractor care, I can miss any other doc visit but not my chiro visits. I had my first treatment in early 2009 from a snowboard injury and have been to a few docs since then. I’ve got to say that Dr. Ather is the one who puts me the most at ease. He always gets the spots that ail me. It’s important since I tense up easily and it’s not pleasant having anyone crack the most fragile/​sensitive part of your body (neck for me as most of my strain is on upper shoulders/​neck area from a desk job). I make this embarrassing squeal (of relief and not pain) til this day when he adjusts my C1/​C2 vertebrae. He listens and puts in the time with you. Lately I’ve been all knotted up in my back and he’s been doing some physical therapy work to help alleviate it. Can’t say the knots went away but it sure feels good. The office is not too far from the loop, the 20 Madison takes you off a block away. Whether you are looking for a new doc or trying chiropractic care for the first time, Dr. Ather’s worth a visit. I always feel like a million bucks when I walk out of his clinic.
