Great service, wonderful bartender. Perfect place to go before an event at the United center. The place is perfect for a good time as well as wonderful attitude from our bartender and the wings are amazing. Would recommend to anyone in west loop.

My buddy and I have been going there whenever we go to a Bulls game. The place is nice but last night was the last straw. The food is just ok. The kicker was the service I got last night. The lady bartender was horrible. She was not friendly at all and seemed annoyed. She served me a bourbon and coke and it was way to strong. I take my drinks strong so for me to say that meant it was way too strong. The coke was flat too. I requested a new drink and told her that it was too strong and the soda was flat. She gave me a pissed look and went about serving everyone else and finally brought me my drink. It was exactly the same. She would never come by and ask if we needed anything or even wonder why the drink was just sitting there. I had to stop her walking by to get water. I was just going to leave the drink and pay for it since I didn’t want any trouble but my buddy talked me into having it removed since she was horrible. I asked for the bill and when she came by she dropped it off and took off. I later caught her and asked her to please remove the drink. She didn’t ask why or anything and just took the receipt in hostile way. I don’t require great service to tip, I just require you are the worst to tip 20%. So while I feel bad not tipping since that is not my custom but I felt this warranted it. I was always nice to her saying please and thank you so I am not sure why the hostile behavior from the start. Either way we are looking into finding a new place since we will not be going back.

Great service. Good food and atmosphere. Our new go to place after the Bulls game! We had the calamari for an appetizer and sliders and a chicken sandwich. My favorite were the chicken sliders. Our waitress was great-quick and friendly!

Food was excellent! Made a reservation and we were seated immediately! Service was BAD! Waiter had too many tables. Great atmosphere! Loud but fun!

Went there last night after the Hawks game. Kate was our server and she was amazing. I won’t soon forget how good my Chicken Philly was. Excellent choice.

Good atmosphere, ambiance, HDTVs. Krankshaft on tap is a plus. However I ordered a bacon egg burger and got a rare cheeseburger. Maybe I ordered wrong, but I was never asked how to have it cooked. Regardless burger was good and the Hawks won in OT.

Nothing bad, nothing great. It’s got the feel of a dusty old bar nestled right in the downtown of West Loop. I tried the fried pickles which were different than any other fried pickles I’ve ever had. They were really thick slices so there was much more pickle than fried breaking, personally wasn’t a fan. Then I tried a burger and curly fries, the fries were fantastic! The burger was very very greasy. Sometimes that’s what you’re looking for but it was too much for me. Service was a little slow and when we went it was empty so that was a bit disappointing. Overall, not the worst, but I won’t go back. Old Fifth across the street is far superior in food, atmosphere and service.

Stopped in around 9pm on a Thursday night for bite to eat and it there were quite a few diners. Menu pretty standard for a bar but better than average quality. Ordered the fish tacos and they were great. Had to get cheese curds too. Just don’t order a margarita. It was awful. Stick to draft or bottled beer. Place has lots of TVs and outdoor seating. Great place to dine before heading to United Center.

Perfect place for dinner after work — they have something for everyone. Definitely recommend the perch tacos, mac and cheese, and wings. Service was great, we had lots of food, and the happy hour specials were pretty good! Great West Loop spot.

We stopped in here for a late night drink with some friends and had a decent time. Décor: It’s a pretty standard bar, almost seemed like a bit of a rustic/western theme(not mechanical bull western, but lots of rustic wood). There is PLENTY of room inside, however, it’s a good sized place for any size group; there are also a few tables outside as well. The bar itself is pretty large too. We were there just before closing time, I think… the place was VACANT. Seriously, the whole staff was hanging out front when we walked up and they basically«opened» just for us. Bathroom: I didn’t use it while we were there. Staff: It was pretty cool that they«opened» the place just for us but you could tell that some of the staff were not happy to see us. The bartender, in particular, looked and had body language like she’d rather not be getting drinks and making money. I can sympathize. Drinks: It’s a bar, a full bar. We had a couple Summer Shandy’s(on tap, nice!) and that’s it — pretty easy. Value: The beers are priced right where they should be. It was a fine place but pretty far off the beaten track for someone who lives in/near The Loop. If in the area I’d try it again, but I won’t seek out another visit.

Came into town for the rush concert and we stopped by this venue and Cindy was our server one word amazing. Love her bubbly personality super attentive and very spot on about food and drink. We will be back whenever we come to the city. And the bus driver was cool as hell

Three mix & match sliders is the bomb! Got the prime rib(w/au jus), cheese burger & pulled pork… the prime rib is crazy good! I may ever do all prime ribs next time since they don’t do a big sandwich version of it. The pulled pork slider would be my 2nd fav. The burger was good too but not outstanding like the prime rib & pulled pork. I had the crab cake b4 but was disappointed… more bread than crab. Think I’ll try the fried chicken next time. Hubby got the po boy shrimp & said it was really good. He thought the breading was similar to the onion rings & said it was delish!

Decent bar food and some good specials. If it gets busy, service can be a bit slow. They put the sound on for some Blackhawks games, but not usually for baseball. It’s a comfortable place. Parking pretty good in surrounding streets.

Let me just say, that I have eaten here before, and we thought it was pretty good food. My kids like the chicken strips on the appetizer menu. Well, yesterday, we decided to get take out from Crossroads, and called in the order. My husband went to pick it up and we were excited to have a yummy lunch. The kids got the chicken strips again, my husband got the chicken caesar salad, and I ordered the chopped salad. My husband’s salad had wilted lettuce in it, however the chicken strips were pleasing to the kids. I had the misfortune of ordering the chopped salad. As I was taking my 3rd or 4th bite I lifted to fork to my mouth, and pulled it pack almost immediately. I thought out of the corner of my eye, I had seen something moving. As I pulled the fork away and looked at its contents, I discovered that I had almost eaten a COCKROACH!!! I was horrified! Lost my appetite then and there, and will NEVER be eating at this restaurant again. I am afraid to even think what the kitchen must look like there. STAYAWAY– at least until the next health inspection.

Perfect place to hit up before heading to the United Center! There’s a free shuttle and un-metered street parking so if you’re going to watch the Hawks or Bulls it’s one of the better options of what to do with your car. The food isn’t bad and the drinks are decently priced as well. Go with the ahi tuna club and definitely try the sweet corn tots. Two pretty different but tasty dinner options. Overall it’s a pretty standard neighborhood bar experience that gets some extra points because of the free shuttle option. Definitely give it a go if you’re going to a game. It’s just as good if not better than West End which is the other place in the area with the same features.
