I can only speak of Ageless Treasure from the shopping side of things. I can’t vouch for how they actually run a sale with your items. But I wanted to review some of the various companies since, as anyone who goes to estate sale knows, you have to deal with the quirks of the owners at every sale. Here’s what I like about the Ageless treasure: 1) They almost always do two sales a week, and you’ll find the same man and woman running each sale. 2) Staff is very friendly and constantly working, rearranging items, answering questions, etc. 3) Above all else, the pricing is probably THE most consistent of ALL the estate sale companies. If you go for a specific item — clothing, a baking dish, a TV, you name it — the pricing is almost always consistent no matter where the sale is being held. And furthermore, nothing is ever really overpriced. Whoever does the pricing has a great eye. 4) Prices are done with actual price tags, not masking tape. If you’re one of those jerks who tries to move prices around, ha, good luck. 5) Sales have a good mix of real stuff and little insignificant stuff. Too many of the other companies clear out the house completely(and charge too much) OR they leave all the crap in the cabinets and make you dig. Ageless Treasure has a nice mix so you’ll be far more likely to find household items you need, however minor they might be. 6) Half price on second day, prices negotiable sometimes later on the first day. Just don’t try to ask for a deal a half hour after they open and then act like they’re being rude when they say no. Manners, people. 7) They take credit cards without complaint. 8) Their listings on estate sales dot net always have a VERY clear representation of what will be at the sale. There are very few surprises in that regard, and they don’t go overboard with the photos either. Here’s what I don’t like: 1) Ageless Treasure sales are clearly well-liked. If you get there an hour early, there will be 20+ people there, starting their own lists. So if you want to go early and get the good stuff, you gotta get there REALLY early. Then again, most of the earlybirds seem to swarm around the jewelry and stuff near the register, so if you’re like me and head for the kitchen or basement first, as long as you’re in the first group let into the house, you should get what you want. That’s actually all I can think of right now. Now, would all of you do me a favor and stop going to their sales so early so I can get more of their stuff?!

Do not use The Ageless Treasure if you are having an Estate Sale. They told us they donated many items to Salvation Army and after calling the Gary Indiana Salvation Army of which was where they said all items were donated and provided us with a bogus receipt from them there are no records anywhere of their donations from them or under our name either and no one their working with the initials on the receipt. The trucks that came in to get our items were 2 very large trucks with no printing on them and I asked Salvation Army if their trucks are printed with their name on it and they said all their trucks have Salvation Army on them. We had a large amount of items which included new items, snow blowers, gazebo, air compressor, etc and antiques of which 2 truck loads of our possessions supposedly were donated. We asked for a itemized list of all goods that were sold and prices and they will not provide us with that information. We were depending on the money from our sale because we are on a fixed income and we received no where near what we should have received from our sale. Never Never let this Company do a sale for you because we found them to be very untrustworthy. They also state on their website they will clean all items and make them presentable for the sale of which that was not done. Also, they told us they would check prices on all items to assure us of getting fair market prices, and they also said there would be no negotiating the first day and they were selling things at ½ price the very first day. Now we know why this Company did not want us present at the sale. Never let anyone do an estate sale for you and you not be present because this could happen to you. We are devastated by our losses and we hope by letting you know what type of business we have dealt with we can help you not have to go through what we went through.

I recently attended an estate sale conducted by The Ageless Treasure. I was impressed by how organized the merchandise was, the clear and reasonable pricing, and the flexibility on prices. The staff was courteous and friendly. I would be delighted to shop at one of their sales any time.
