BYOB and some of the best steak in the city. The place can be pretty packed and there’s not a lot of room sometimes but the value of your meal is some of the highest in the city. Usually, I go to a steakhouse and expect at least $ 125 tab and I think we usually only pay $ 70-$ 80 since we cons bring our own wine. The only better Argentinian steakhouse I’ve been to is el gaucho in Aruba.

I am totally down to get on the dance floor and Tango Sur it up! I definitely came in hungry and left feeling like delicious Argentine meat juices were flowing through me. Being a foodie(aka one that likes to shove things down my mouth), my supervisor recommended I try Tango Sur. She insisted that it was her favorite steakhouse in Chicago, so I was thrilled to finally try this with my friend from out of town. First things first, be sure to make a dinner reservation. On a weeknight, reservations seem to end at 18:00, but we were able to get a table for two outside in the patio for 18:30 with no problems. The interior was very ambient and looked like it was made for date nights. Sitting outside, you get the nice summer breeze and people watching opportunities. Now, for the food. Between the two of us, we ordered three empanadas(Corn, Spinach & Cheese, and Sweet Beef), and the Para Dos– a large grilled meat stand of short ribs, filet, chorizo, blood sausage, and more. The empanadas were BOMB. Each was baked to perfection, and the fillings inside had so much flavor. We loved trying each of the different options and appreciated the effort they put in to making it delicious. Next, the Para Dos meat fest($ 40) was amazing. The spare ribs and filet was juicy and tender, while the chorizo gave it a nice fried kick to our meal. Our food did get cold pretty quickly given the low heat of the grill, but if you consume it when it’s fresh, it is amazing. Everything we ate, we dipped it with their amazing chimichurri sauce. Seriously, it was so addicting, and one of the best I’ve had in Chicago. I wish I had a bottle of that for home! Not to mention the BYOB service is great! Our water was incredibly friendly and helped us uncork our reds and poured the first glass. We ended up eating so much food, and for the price we pay, it was definitely worth it. Cheers to Tango Sur! I’ll be continuing to dance with you as long as you remain meaty and delicious.

The food is mouthwatering. We started with the empanadas and they were the most delicious. Our entrees were huge, and well worth it. My only complaint is how our server saw us twice-only to take our order and we had to beg for the check.

The food was good — the venue is a mess. I don’t know if they pay their electric bill or they are trying to hide something, but it is very very dark in here Some people in our party commented that they are trying to make it romantic, but this is the least romantic spot I’ve ever been to in the city. It is so loud and so cramped, and they have salsa dance music pumping in the background — you have to yell at the person sitting across the table from you. I was ready to leave after 30 minutes, but we were in the restaurant for almost three hours waiting on our food. The food was fine. It was what I would expect from a $ 29 steak.

Love!!! This place is delicious. And the price is amazing, probably largely because it’s byob. We got there around 5pm on a Sunday, and there was no wait. It’s great sitting outside when the weather is nice. The portions are huge though, I would recommend a two person portion between 3 people with appetizers and salad etc unless you really love your meat! The ribs in the para dos was amazing, although the flank steak was a little bit dry after we let it sit on the hot plate for too long.

I can’t say it enough that this place is always always always always being crowded and packed ! Came here for a date a long time ago. Very dark and mysterious ambiance super romantic! It’s very small and tables are tight along each other so it’s often common that you are arm and arm with the next party. A lot of people often times come in large groups so if you’re not a fan of drunk obnoxious people in your ear might not be the best place for you. I was told they do not accept reservations and it’s first come first serve. Looking at Unilocal and the other reviews they apparently do take them but I would request several days or even a few weeks ahead of time. We waited over an hour when we arrived but it’s BYOB and I couldn’t complain too much at all. Food was outstanding. Meat is very succulent and I have 0 complaints across the board when it comes to their food. Service is excellent and he staff is friendly from what I remember. This is the first place I’ve tried Argentinean and it didn’t disappoint! Ps parking blows.

Came here to celebrate my birthday and my friend’s birthday. Absolutely delicious steak for just the right price. The only draw back was the wait time, our hostess informed me anywhere from 1 hour to 1 year. It took about 2 hours before our party of 3 was finally seated. We started with the empanadas, chicken, beef, ham n cheese. Those were cooked to a light but hearty doughy heaven. I ordered the flap meat and it was seasoned perfectly.

Tango sur is delicious! We started with the empanadas(sweet beef, corn, and spinach). The sweet beef was good, but it was a bit messy when we tried to half it. The corn — probably my favorite. Sweet, but with the chimichurri sauce which came with everything was amazing. We also ordered the para dos which was so much meat. Sausage was decent. Filet was great. Short ribs was my favorite. Chimichurri sauce was great! Drench everything in it. Protip: chimichurri sauce. Short rib was amazing. BYOB(or more like wine!)

Was so excited to try this place out because I’m Argentinean. Went with my mother and two siblings on a Friday night and it was really great. Very loud and hard to have conversations but that’s what you get with such a hopping atmosphere. Wait staff was very nice. I love the whole byob concept. They opened bottles for us and served us our wine. Chimichurri was great!!! Also had asado para dos and shared it with my mother. Ate so much food with a ton of warm bread. Chorizo was great, the morcilla wasn’t as good as I had hoped and expected. Also tried the vacío with sweet potatoes. Vacío was great… sweet potatoes not as flavorful as I have had sweet potatoes before. Would Def recommend and return

During a recent trip to Chicago, a friend insisted that we dedicate a night to Tango Sur. Who are we to disagree when promised with BYOB and steaks the size of your face? Dim lighting, shabby chic décor, perfect for our double date. We came armed with two bottles of wine and two bottles of sour beers, God bless Tango Sur for no corking fee. The El Filets for our lovebird companions, ribeyes for BF and me, provoleta to whet our appetites. Provoleta was good but then again all melty cheese is good. The real pieces de resistance were our steaks. Imagine a collective gasp around the table as our servers set down our plates. Count two filets for each order, a total of 4 to split between my friend and his girl, BF and my ribeyes were, without exaggeration, the size of tennis rackets. What you get in quantity, Tango Sur matches in quality. Our steaks, cooked to our exact tastes, ribeyes with a beautiful char on the outside, added crunch from large grain salt. The only one to finish his/her platter? My overeager, ravenous BF, I watched him devour his entrée with a mix of disgust and pride. Best part? The bill. Tango Sur is a GREAT value for your dollar. High quality, large quantity of meat, for a stupid price. If you’re trying to impress a date and want to leave with your wallet intact, come here. BF and I will be back when the carnivore inside calls to us.

We have eaten here a few times now and every time we have enjoyed it. Their empanadas are very flavorful and the chimichurri is so good. My favorite is El Filet but everything we have tried has been cooked perfectly and tasted very good. The service is friendly and very efficient. The place is very dimly lit(candles only) and it is BYOB with no cork fees. The wait times are long on the weekend.

It’s my birthday and to celebrate I had the worst dinner of my life. We had a reservation for 9:15. We got there at 9:00 and was told«we have no space for you, go in the back room and wait». So we did, along with 50 other people crammed like cattle, that will soon be improperly cooked. It took them 30 minutes to call us. By that time, the beer that we brought for our meal was already warm. This one star is only for the chimichurri sauce that goes along with the meat. Deelish I ordered the churrasco, medium rare. It came out medium well. Chewy AF. Spinach mash potatoes. Sounds good right? Buttery AF. No spinach flavor whatsoever. Also tastes identical to the regular mash potatoes. It makes me wonder if they just added some green #5 to inflate the price. As far as ambiance goes, I don’t know what they were trying to go for. If it was romantic, it was way too loud. If it was for groups, it was waaay too dark. We had one long Roman Candle to light up our whole table. It was so dark, I forgot who I came with. Not only was it my birthday, but my friends came from out of town to surprise me. They weren’t too impressed with the restaurant, so they’re leaving earlier than expected back to South Africa.

The place was BYOB and I enjoyed having a bottle of wine with out meal. The bife chorizo was juicy and perfectly cooked. The outside is a little less crispy compared to steaks in American steakhouses. It was very good for a strip steak. The potatoes that came with the dish was also quite good. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the sweatbreads and the intestines. Both were chewy and hard to bite. I would stick with the beef dishes if I come again. Overall, I enjoyed my dinner.

We came at 5:30 hoping to get a table before the dinner rush on a Saturday night since we didn’t have reservations. They were able to seat us right away. Our sever was helpful and very friendly, the décor is cool and makes you feel like you’re in South America and loved the BYOB. Our food was very good, the steak was big and nicely cooked. The filet was a little rare but still delicious. The prosciutto appetizer could have had more prosciutto but the melon was fresh. I would definitely go back with a big group of friends or another date night. A great neighborhood gem.

I came here last night to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and considering the reputation, I had high expectations. I could not have been more impressed with Tango Sur. From the ambiance to the service to the food– 5 stars across the board! The owner, Sergio, is a true restaurateur and I’ll be sure to be trying his other spots in Chicago like Folklore. We ordered the provoleta to start and it was amazing with the bread. I order d the El Filet with spinach mashed potatoes and they were divine! We will definitely be back and o cannot say enough good things about this place!

The delicious food at Tango Sur will have your tongue singing. It’s so good you can almost forgive the 1 – 3 hour wait for dinner. We showed up at 6, and the wait was 60 – 90 minutes. They took down our number, but never called. We came back over 90 minutes later and he could not locate our name. Luckily, he remembered us and took us to the waiting room. He was telling a couple arriving at that time that the wait was 2.5−3 hours. We waiting in the waiting room about 20 minutes. It was about 8:15 by the time we were shown a table. Once you are seated, the service is great – very attentive. My fiancé ordered the filet minon and I ordered Bife de Chorizo. Mine was delicious, but I was jealous of the filet minon which was out of this world. The décor is lovely with romanic candles, tasteful art, and exposed brick walls. The staff’s Al Capone themed Tango Sur tshirts did not match stylistically. The place was quite loud and everyone was laughing and having a good time. That may have something to do with the BYOB. I really wish they took reservations. This place would be perfect without the wait.

Favorite restaurant in the city — bar none. Worth the wait and consistently lives up to the hype. I’ve been treated like royalty each time I’ve been. It’s as though each waiter(particularly Billy) treats the table as if it’s a special occasion, even if it’s not — which is what has made dining at Tango Sur its very own special occasion. Come here for a birthday, or on Valentine’s Day or any random Tuesday… It doesn’t matter — you’ll leave feeling full and warm from the wine you’ve no doubt brought three bottles of, and undeniably happy. Yes try the el filet, and yes try the empanadas(which aren’t even my favorite, but dat chimichurri doe). But please don’t overlook the poached tongue or the things that sound, errrrr, interesting. Each menu item is as delicious as the last and I get the sweats trying decide what I’ll enjoy this time around. Strolling guitarist some nights in this dark, cozy, candlelit venue makes for an exquisite evening with the ladies, family, or your main squeeze.

Okay I swear this place has been on my bookmarked list forever and I’m sooo happy that we finally ventured out over here for my friends birthday. We had a party of 12 so we definitely had to make reservations in advance. I’ve been to Argentina so I had high expectations of a good Argentinian steakhouse. Upon arrival, it’s dark, intimate, exposed brick walls, great music playing, seriously a great atmosphere. However, the only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because it’s fully jam packed in there, I wish they spaced the tables out more and took less people in since you kind of feel like a bunch of sardines in a tight can. That’s the only downfall I can think of as everything else is pure positivity. The service is pretty good and it’s byob so what can be better than relaxing with your friends, catching up over a few bottles of red to go with your steak. The food is phenomenal, the portions are huge and so worth it for the money. Let’s start with the empanadas, they are fantastic. We tried, the beef ones as I our server said those are his favorite, we also had the chicken and the spinach and ham. All of them were fantastic but I have to say that the beef ones truly were the best, they had a kick and lots of good flavor. These empanadas did remind me of what I ate in South America. Now onto the meat, we shared the filet plate with the spinach mashed potatoes and so glad I did because it is a LOT of food. I mean there’s no way I could have finished it by myself and for $ 30 for that plate, I truly thought it was an exceptional deal. And who knew that I could like spinach mashed potatoes. Divine I tell ya. Now, I was already full after my appetizers and perfectly cooked steak, but I knew I had to try their dessert. I ordered the dolce de leche flan and it was amazing, super finishing touch after an amazing meal, and I could bathe in dolce de leche I love it so much. I would absolutely recommend getting their flan because it’s light and flavorful and doesn’t make you feel like«why did I get this after I was already so full.» Overall, such a great experience, drinking malbec with my friends and eating delicious food. It literally transported me back to a bistro in Buenos Aires and I can’t wait to have an excuse to go back here. Oh, and some people complain that it’s loud here, which it is, but if you get a table towards a wall, it isn’t so bad and you can literally here your party.

Before we even got our drinks, the waiter materialized out of the shadows like a poem. He was tall and heavily muscled, with a shock of rich, black hair. Like a Spaniard’s hair. Right away I wondered aloud why I trusted this man that I had just met so much, but he mollified me with a series of strange, nonverbal gestures and I surrendered to the beckoning of the natural world. I pictured myself under an apple green primordial sky, filling my lungs with the heavily oxygenated air and watching the first trilobites set foot on land. I then entered a cave where I saw a man, and with dream logic recognized him to be the Proto-Man. I was all but wearing a buffalo pelt and swinging a tomahawk around a ceremonial fire. Like a Native American, my rite of passage upon me, I crossed the veil from adolescence into adulthood. This was a real treat. Exceptional steaks and BYOB, so it’s very affordable.

Wonderful Dinner! Although the wait was a little long, it was worth every minute. We already knew it would be a wait, so we weren’t surprised. The customer service was very polite and prompt. It’s amazing how loud and tight spaced it looks in there, but nobody bumps into anybody, and we can all hear who we’re talking it. And the service is fast once you get seated… It’s really great and applauded– you know those restaurants that have less than 5 tables and you Have to beg for some water! Our server Jose was a delight to have. Service at its’ best. He recommended the empanadas which were amaaaaaaaazing, to say the least. It had one of everything, and I got the corn and oooooozzing cheese… Wow. The chimichurri sauce made everything that much better too. The Para Dos was our entrée and it was perfect. Still too much for us THREE, but don’t worry. A little bit of everything on the platter– chorizo, spare ribs, filet and blood sausage(I was a little scared to try). The dessert was SO good! Carrot cake AND chocolate cake… Triple layer… And a little secret, the leftovers were AMAZING the next day, in the oven for 20 minutes. Thank You!!! Overall the service was excellent and the food even better!!!

I’ve been here 5 years ago and again just recently. It is interesting how this place never seems to change. Recently I came here with some friends for an early dinner. Luckily, we were seated not far from the window so we had some light. Remember that episode of Seinfeld where Jerry dates a woman who looks like 2 totally different people due to lighting? Yes, this place would be it. There are no lights except for the candles on your table… so either bust out the flashlight on your phone to read the menu or read the menu at home prior to coming. The menu is pretty basic… meat and potatoes just different cuts. I chose the filet, which could feed 2 people easily. People come here since is it BYOB and you get a boat load of meat. Quanity vs quality here. I ordered the filets rare, but after a bite or 2 I realized this was blue rare not rare. The lighting is so dark that it was a lost cause trying to see the center of the filet. Was the steak amazing? It was alright… nothing life changing. However, the service is another was on that day. The waiters were quick to refill waters, open our beers and wine bottles. It is a nice place if you’re looking for BYOB for steak, but not something I would make another trek to.

BUZZ — Empenadas(7⁄10) — Lomo Relleno(9.9÷10) — Vacio(10⁄10) — El Filet I’m not entirely sure how I ended up giving this place only 3 stars way back when. I suppose I used to include«atmosphere» when I first started writing reviews. I remember really liking the food, but maybe I just wasn’t attuned enough or something. I will say, though, the thought of going back to Tango Sur is met with both excitement and dread. It’s like saying, «Hey! Let’s get a burger at Au Cheval!» The wait is stupid. We got there at 7pm on a Saturday, yes, I know, that’s just asking for it, but I hear it almost doesn’t matter when you go. There was a 1.5 hour wait for 4 of us. We actually had a 5th, but they said to seat her, it’d be 2.5 hours, and she didn’t have that kind of time. So we ended up waiting at the sushi place next door for drinks and a roll each as an appetizer. Although the wait sucks, what’s nice is that you can give your cell phone number, and they’ll text you when your table’s ready. The other amazing thing about this is that it’s BYOB. It’s an upscale restaurant, but if you cut out the cost of ordering a decent bottle of wine at the restaurant, that’s saving $ 100! EMPENADAS Because there was a buzz about this, we got ‘em too. They were decent, but nothing I’d go out of my way nor wait in line for hours for. VACIO When it comes to steak, I’m a purist. Only salt and pepper for me(unless the steak sucks, in which case, loads of A1!). I don’t enjoy Filet Oscars, blue cheese crumbles, bernaise sauce, or any of that stuff. I mean, I enjoy those things, but definitely not on my steak. Technically, Vacio is not really a steak. It’s more of a slab of beef, but I have never enjoyed beef smothered in anything nearly as much as this. I don’t even have to dress up the description, because listen to this: half slab of range grown flap meat, sliced and filled with olive oil, garlic, parsley sauce, then cooked and served on a grill with roasted sweet potatoes. ideal for two That, and it’s basically drenched in it! OMG I seriously can’t believe that something this good exists! It’s a thick cut of beef, and it’s seasoned oh so perfectly! There wasn’t a single bland moment nor a moment where I thought anything was too salty. The garlic and parsley fused so well with the beef, and the balance was perfect. The garlic was so good and tasted so fresh! This isn’t weak, yet buttery, roasted garlic. This is fresh ‘n’ strong garlic(cooked for texture though)! The parsley has its own flavor of course, but it even intensified the garlic and even olive oil flavors too! WOW! Because it was so thick, the saucy stuff was only on the outside of the cut(well, more so if you drenched it further like me), but you still have a lot of beef on the inside, so while you get all those crazy intense flavors(and seasoning), you still also get a hint of pure beef flavor underneath, and the beef was so tender too! Never wrestling with cartilage or with a «too tough» bite. Also since it’s drenched in the sauce, every bite was super moist too! And if you’re still not salivating, just google Tango Sur Vacio and check out the pictures, because a picture is worth a thousand words, and I don’t think Unilocal gives me that much space. This, folks, is why you wait in line! LOMORELLENO This was the more popular item between the two, according to our server. Since we had 4, we got both this and the Vacio. This was very similar; it also was a slab of meat, but it’s cooked on a grill with portabela marsala. It’s filled with chimichurri sauce, which is basically the same as the Vacio minus garlic. This was amazing in its own right too. If we hadn’t gotten the Vacio, I probably would have given this 10/10, but because I had to compare it, I was missing the garlic on this one. This one also had a little bit of a more bold and peppery flavor than the Vacio. Even though it’s a different cut, all the praises I gave for seasoning, texture, moistness, etc. for the Vacio apply here too. If you like bold & peppery, Lomo. If you like garlic, Vacio. 1, 2, OR20TOTANGO You all need to free up your Saturday evening and put your name on the waiting list. This is worth it! Oh, did I mention BYOB… with no corkage fee? We ate a lot, but still ended up with leftovers, and splitting the check 3 ways, it was about $ 35/person + tip! We brought 3 bottles of wine. Imagine going to a steakhouse and ordering 3 bottles of wine, do you have any idea how much that’d cost? So on top of being some of the best food in the world, it’s also some of the cheapest! So, hurry up, go here, bring a friend, or 20, or none, just go to Tango Sur!

We went here for my wife’s birthday and had a pretty good time. First, the negatives: 1. There’s no reservations; 2. The service is attentive but could benefit from having the servers bring serving spoons/knives for the shared dishes and also cutting the first serving off shared dishes. That said, the food was fantasic. The price was very reasonable and would’ve been even better if our eyes weren’t bigger than our stomachs(probably a common thing here — order less!). The flank steak for two was just delightful. The empanadas were amazing(I would come back and order ten empanadas for dinner). The cheese appetizer was underwhelming so I’ll skip that next time. Anyway, plan to visit a local bar after putting your name in. Toons is fun and the Ten Cat has a fireplace. Otherwise enjoy this place!

I had originally given this establishment 5 stars due to the wonderful service I received the first time I dined here. However, I was here for my birthday 2 weeks ago and the waiter was not polite at all. He was awkward and didn’t make an effort to be attentive. When I asked if they had any hot sauce he looked at me like I was crazy and said«Argentine food isn’t supposed to be spicy». I politely said, I know that, but I also know you have tobasco sauce because I’ve been here before. He then replied, «oh yes, we do have that». Wth? I know this review makes me sound crazy and petty but whatevs. I really hope I don’t get this waiter ever again.

we really liked the environment there, cozy with candlelight, not too quiet where it feels intimidating. good for dates or hang out with a group of friends as it is moderately loud so you don’t need to feel bad for shouting across the table make sure you make a reservation, or it’d be an hour wait The meat portions are huge and quite flavorful, really liked the beef tongue and the argentina ham appetizer, also, try to get the table grill for two, the meat is so tender and the sausages are quite tasty; we also got the fillet mignon, which is very juicy and the mashed potato is awesome too

I love eating out. And I do it a lot. So imagine the delight of one of my friends when he suggests a restaurant in his neighborhood, assuming I have already been there, and when I say I haven’t his face lights up like he’s won the lottery! Score! How this lovely restaurant has been on my list for all these years, quietly slipping off my radar screen is unknown to me. But boy am I glad my friends are looking out for me! It’s BYOB so grab your favorite beverage and head over. There may be a short wait but they will take your number and text/call you when your table is ready. In the Summer, people mill out on the street, meeting neighbors and friends and catching up. In the cooler months, just head down the street to DeLeece or another bar and wait it out. Given I was the novice, I let my friend and the server decide on the menu. Empanadas? Sure. We had the ham and cheese and the spinach and they were delicious with a wonderful pastry. We also had the provoleta with peppers(melted cheese basically) which is delicious with the fresh bread that comes to the table. And the steak was delicious served with chimichurri sauce and perfectly cooked. And don’t forget to save room for the caramel flan at your meal’s end. It’s the perfect sweet ending. It’s dark, intimate, and simple with flickering candles that make you look your best. And my favorite part? There is also live music. The guitar player on the night I was there was stellar and entertained us all night long. But what pushed it over the edge for me was the wonderful staff. No question went unanswered, no request not met. And this was no small feat as we were there at the end of what looked like a long evening. And the staff was still pleasant and personable. That’s amazing. Tango Sur got my vote for a delicious choice in the neighborhood. But what I really loved was that my friend who suggested it took such great pleasure in knowing I liked it as much as he did. Now that’s a perfect evening!

Pretty pumped I finally got to try Tango Sur! Scared by long wait times on the weekends, I was eagerly anticipating our visit as so many friends said I «HAD to go» to Tango Sur. We arrived on a Monday night with a group of four and had no issue getting a table. However, the restaurant was by no means empty! The atmosphere is pretty awesome at Tango Sur, definitely dark and romantic. The candlelight makes it a little difficult to see the menu, but the ambiance totally fits the restaurant. The BYOB element is key and very unique for a restaurant featuring steak! We brought a couple bottles of wine to accompany our meal. I don’t care how hungry you and your dining companions are, keep in mind that Tango Sur serves up serious portions. We started with the empanadas, which I think are a must order. My favorite was the spinach and cheese, but all were enjoyed by the whole table. We also started with the pravaleta, very delicious and melty provolone. The spices on this were super tasty, but it was definitely a filling appetizer for four! I wasn’t even hungry when our entrees came… which were gigantic! The boyfriend and I shared el filet and the beef vesuvio. Both were fantastic, el filet comes with two full pieces of filet and enough spinach mashed potatoes to feed an army. The beef vesuvio was tender and moist, we loved the potatoes on the side and how flavorful the dish was. We ended up taking home enough food for at least two additional meals. Overall, highly recommend Tango Sur! Very unique atmosphere and concept. With multiple appetizers and two entrees, total came to about $ 70 for two people. While slightly pricey for a BYOB, the quality of the food is fantastic and you’re not getting a steak dinner anywhere else for that price. Additionally, next time we go, definitely splitting one entrée!

I have to preface this review with the disclaimer that it is simply not for everyone. When you agree to go to Tango Sur, you have to understand it is a bustling, generally loud, sometimes over packed, chaotic mess, and to add to the fire, its BYOB, which causes some rude people to sit there far longer than they should. You have to accept that this is what you signed up for, and If these things upset you, you should go elsewhere. For the rest of us, this place is awesome. What you get is reasonably priced large portions of excellent steaks and(if you’re smart) some empanadas and the provoletta appetizer(it’s seriously just a big plate of melted provolone with bread!!!). You may have to wait for your table, that’s why you bring an extra bottle of wine, or give them your phone number and walk down to Toons for some beer. This is by no means a prime steakhouse, but the steaks are always tasty and well trimmed, and the selection is great. Quit whining and go eat some steak.

We had dinner here one night after a play. I was a little nervous that my expectations would be too high because I had been looking forward to it. It met every single one though. The ambience is perfect for a date. We split a nice bottle of red wine and ordered one of each flavor of empanada. Then we split the filet with the spinach mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing! We shared dessert but for some reason did not order flan. That’s what I really wanted. I think the waiter talked us into something else. I would not hesitate to go back!
