Oh my god I’m so disappointed with myself for not stopping in here before. I came in here last night with my wife and son. we were greeted immediately by 3 beautiful ladies. The interior of the establishment is beautiful, clean, organize. We started with the free chips and salsa they bring to the table. We ordered(2) Carne asada plates with rice, beans, salad and(3)steak tacos. Everything was succulent, fresh, and very tasty. I highly recommend you give them a won’t be long before this place gets extremely busy. The waitresses are great, attentive, friendly and are spot on. Holy shit this place is a diamond in the ruff

I take my parents here many times and they love it. We’ve ordered the carne en su jugo, taco dinner, torta, steak dinner, cocteles de camaron, caldo 7 mares and many more! I’ve also ordered certain drinks: margaritas, Pina coladas, White Russian. Nice atmosphere, good service, great food.

Great prices and great food. Steak sopes and chicken enchiladas are my go to. I love that they have a kid’s menu, and that they always refill our basket of chips without charging us extra. Parking is great, they take cards, and they serve alcohol. What’s not to love?

Im here today on Mother’s day with my mother and there are people celebrating birthdays and graduations as well, I usually bring my wife and kids here to enjoy some good authentic Mexican food, and let me tell you that you would be disappointed if you pay them a visit. Order the arracherra dinner with a Coronarita and you will be one happy camper. The owner is also very friendly and is always making sure your visit is a satisfying one. If your in the Belmont Cragin area stop by and be a believer of my 5 star rating

This place gets 2 stars for their great service and 1 for their very delicious margaritas. No stars for the food. I really had high expectations, due to all the 5 star reviews. The food was lacking in taste. I had the enchiladas suizas with mole. My husband had the enchiladas poblanas. I made him switch cause mine were horrible. He’s a bit less picky than me. Maybe we tried the wrong thing. The margaritas alone is enough to go back and try it again. I am willing to give them another chance. The service was amazing. our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Oh and we loved the soft playing mariachi music in the background. I love mariachi music in a restaurant. It gives it that authentic feel to it.

The hubby and I love this neighborhood Mexican place! They really seem to cook as if for family. They recently got a new cook/chef who has brought this place from a ¾ star to 5 star. Their fish tacos are on point! My fav! We have ordered the chicken milanesa, tacos, all the different burritos and enchiladas and I can honestly say everything here is fresh and delicious. We always order the fire roasted jalapeños for hubby since he likes it hot – called jalapeño «torido» I think? They deliver now! Clean place with very friendly waitresses! Chips with pico de gallo and a green concoction that’s so spicy, while you wait! Comfortable booths! I love this place!

Awesome place to go to. The first time we went I ordered camarones empanizados I got six of them with rice, beans, and a salad. I was satisfied with the shrimp cause they were huge, unlike some other places. The price for the shrimp is good. My bf ordered a bistec ranchero, it was served with a good amount of tortillas, other places give only like three or four tortillas. The second time we went was a few days ago and I ordered flautas which came with guacamole and rice and beans on the side. The tortillas for the flautas were bigger than regular ones which is good because I got full. The horchata was delicious wasn’t too sweet and had a good amount of cinnamon. The rice and beans have a good taste, the food is authentic mexican food. The customer service is on point, waiters were both really nice and would come see if we wanted anything else. They weren’t annoying coming every 2 minutes or like other places that waiters don’t even bother to see if customers want anything else. Service was fast both times. The first time was a Saturday morning there was plenty of people when we got there and more people kept coming in. The second time was in the night time around 10PM there was barely any people. Haven’t been there during peak hours but service must be somewhat slower. From outside the place isn’t attractive but the inside is well decorated I love how it’s colorful and alive. I recommend Taco & Burrito House it’s worth the $, I’m pretty sure I’ll be back to try more food and try out their drinks.

I’ve ordered more times than I can count and will continue to order. There are a lot of restaurants in the area(even within a few blocks) that offer the same kind of food. What separates their food is the QUALITY. Non greasy. Lots of vegetarian options. The tortillas are fresh and possibly made in the restaurant. I work in the area so I’m always trying to find a close pickup location. The service and environment: They are extremely accommodating to special requests. The staff is helpful and extremely polite. I’ve met the owner before and he is also great. If I lived in the area, I would probably dine-in and have a few drinks. The restaurant is very clean and is nicely decorated. I’ve gotten food poisoning from a few Mexican restaurants before so I’m really picky about the appearance of them now. The food: The only complaint I have is that the sauteed veggies are kind of watery for my liking and it can make the burrito soggy if you wait too long to eat it. The veggie burrito and veggie quesadilla are still very delicious and satisfying. I simply prefer my veggies somewhat cooked but not mushy. Guacamole is also very good. Pico de Gallo is very spicy but I love it.

I always go here for mexican food. At one point, it was every friday. I usually get the Carne Asada and sometimes delve into the other dishes… and nothing disappoints me! I highly recommend this mexican restaurant to anybody traveling into this part of Chicago! They also have huge margaritas and GREAT customer service!

Dropped by here for dinner and drinks last night with some friends and had an absolute blast. The place was nicely decorated, but resisted the kind of kitschy and gimmicky nic nacs a lot of Mexican restaurants clutter themselves with. Our waitress was pretty polite, and the service was really quick. They weren’t that busy, but I don’t get the impressions that the service would suffer during peak hours. As for the food, I had the milanesa suiza, which was excellent. I’d prefer that they didn’t drown the meat in a red sauce, but the sauce was good. The rice and beans were tasty, and everyone else I was with seemed to enjoy their meals(as well as their pina coladas). I look forward to coming back here, and to bringing a few more friends.
