Sushi pink is the best. It’s not too expensive and the food is worth the price. I normally get the Nama Sake Nigiri and Spicy Salmon Roll. I also love the Crab Ragoons. This place is close to my apartment, so it’s easy to walk too and order from. They work with grub hub too.

I was not a fan of sushi, until I ate here. All the rolls I tried I really liked. My favorite was the winter storm. Service was great and so were the drinks.

I stopped in at sushi pink for lunch. Dropped off an item at UPS next door and saw that sushi pink had a few lunch specials. Had their pork belly ramen. It satiated my hunger but felt the flavors were not rich and deep and didn’t come together as well as other ramen dishes I’ve had(like Oiistar in wicker park). I received a free edamame appetizer on the house and it was cold. Some reviews expressed that getting it cold was off putting, but I understand that it’s normal to eat edamame either hot or cold. The restaurant was not busy, so I received attentive service.

We’ve only gotten takeout here a few times. My husband says«This is one of those places that doesn’t get enough love.» We liked the variety of the sushi rolls(we’ve particularly liked a hot baked one with lobster), all of which have been tasty and appropriately sized. The service was always friendly and speedy, so that we’d essentially walk in, order, and wait a little bit(with waters offered right away to tie us over), and walked back out with our sushi in hand. All the special rolls are $ 12+. We’re guilty of not giving this place enough love, as my husband would say, but that’s mostly because there are so many other nice sitdown restaurants nearby and we still have such a long list of places we want to check out. For a delicious sushi night at home or for a lunch, it’s still a top spot in this area!

I absolutely love this place. It’s a quaint atmosphere with excellent quality of sushi at reasonable prices. They treat a regular guy like me as if I were a rock star. The addition of ramen is an excellent option(love me the pork ramen). Go, eat, conquer. Say hello to Kevin behind the sushi bar and order up the Chicago Roll(not on the menu) which is a rainbow roll with more fresh sushi inside rather than the crab found in a California roll. Yummmmmm.

Love the sushi and ramen here! The sushi is well-made and fresh. I always get the vegetable ramen, the portions are big and there is a lot of vegetable/tofu ! Go here for ramen instead of strings ramen! Improvement: they could work on not adding that much sugar/water in their smoothies. Also, they calculated the tip wrong. It should be before tax before 33% off not after tax. Charged us 2 dollars extra and a dollar for chili oil. My dad called and got the issue resolved. They refunded us the extra tip.

Great for a date night. A little expensive for the quality but definitely a good restaurant with kind servers. The sushi rolls are HUGE so you don’t have to order as many! Good sushi but not the best I have ever had.

Waitstaff was so nice I hate to even leave a bad review. I got the chicken ramen, though, which was like $ 13, and I’m pretty sure they used canned corn in it. Didn’t try anything else, so it’s possible that their sushi could be really great.

This is a great little restaurant. Had three rolls, saukra, lobster, and crazy dragon, they were all fresh and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Don’t miss the chocolate fudge cake. so good. They also have nice outdoor seating.

Ok. If you’ve been reading my reviews, you know that I recently went to Chicago. Again. What you didn’t know was how hard it was for me to not suggest we go to Sushi Pink. This place… Aaaahhhhhh. Oh, sorry. Fan boy moment. Smh… The sushi is delicious and masterfully prepared. The plating was artistry. The servers were amazingly attentive and all just cute as buttons… … Where did the phrase, Cute as a Button, come from, anyway? What’s so cute about a button? I mean, sure, they’re functional, but cute? I don’t know… Where were we? Oh. They sake selection was amazing and each one was able to be paired with each sushi roll that was offered. I don’t really know what a good sushi/sake pairing is but ours tasted like they were made for one another. No matter what, I’m going back here.

At a sushi restaurant, the rice is one of the most important aspects and they screwed it up. The rice in my sushi was mushy and shapeless, when I took a bite the rice grains all mushed together and formed one gigantic soggy ball of what seemed like a rice cake. Salmon on my salmon nigiri was shapeless, which goes to show its been frozen and thawed one too many times. Got salmon nigiri, tuna nigiri, yellowtail nigiri, California roll, and fashion roll(salmon avocado), and teriyaki steak. Teriyaki steak was mediocre. I came here to try out a new place instead of butterfly sushi which is a block away, and I regret it. Money better spent elsewhere. Service lady was nice.

I liked Sushi Pink, sushi. It solved my sushi craving for about a week. We had their rainbow roll and spicy tuna. The fish isn’t the most colorful or freshest. But we are in Chicago and we aren’t near an Ocean or Sea. So not everyone can get freshest fish for sushi. The people who run the place are so nice. The place is very quiet. Their restrooms are hilarious with a two way mirror. I can see my husband and brother in law sitting and chatting while I do my business it’s really crazy! I would go back for their happy hour and give that a try. Mainly because i feel the people are so nice, and the food was good enough to interest me in returning someday.

Consistently good sushi. Really good rice. I’ve had uni here a few times and it’s always been great. Good, friendly service. Understated sushi bar that offers just as good if not better sushi choices than others in the West Loop.

***When you check in on Unilocal, you get free edamame, but they are cold*** I have been here twice and I love the food. The sushi is fresh, the drinks are strong. The staff is great and friendly. Thursday is ½ price sake and Fridays are $ 5 martinis. I will definitely be back.

Really fresh and filled sushi, not like the other sushi places that give you all rice rolls. Wonderful servers and never a wait. I think the location decreases the traffic they get but I’m a little selfish in that I want it to stay this way so I’m always happy. The bathroom is wierd but whatever, use it and get out or wait til you get home. Really cool long booth seating but you feel like there’s a good enough space between you and the table over.

Good place for a quick bite of Sushi. The place is small but it is good for an afternoon weekday lunch. I wouldn’t take a date here. The service is quick. They have a Happy Special Monday –Friday form 3−6pm at 33% off the sushi prices. Never too crowded, they are located in an unassuming place.

This place is so cute and intimate! The dim lighting makes it feel relaxing. The service is excellent and the food is delicious! I had the shrimp and vegetable tempura with rice. It was so tasty and filling. I had some of my friend’s dragon roll and it was one of the best dragon rolls I have ever had. The service is also excellent. Everyone is so polite and friendly. They gave us a complimentary dessert, and I ordered some take home and they gave me some complimentary vegetables. I will definitely be going back.

Pleasantly calm and cerebral atmosphere. Very affordable, consistently great quality fish. The Spicy Tuna roll is one of the best I’ve had in Chicago. Service is always on point and accommodating. Good job Sushi Pink!
