Am Jamaican and we are hard critics especially on Jamaican restaurants.
Went there about 2 weeks ago picked up some Eschoviche fish, oxtail, Sorrill– everything nice and dandy.
Staff were nice and friendly.
Keep doing a great job guys.

2. Wear comfortable clothes & enjoy food.
3. Profit.
Ordered the oxtail stew & jerk chicken for me & my wife. Writing from the couch after smashing every grain & drop.

The family that runs this restaurant is very genuine and welcoming.
This restaurant is mainly take-​out but there are a few tables inside, if you wish to dine in.
We had the jerk chicken, goat curry, grilled red snapper and fry dumpling.
The grilled red snapper was very tasty and a generous portion.
The jerk chicken was good. Although, it tasted more like BBQ chicken than jerk style.
The goat curry was excellent. I felt the portion was on the small side.
The fry dumpling is nothing like I thought it would be. Its dough that is fried.
More like a biscuit then a dumpling.
With every meal comes a huge helping of beans and rice. Not too bad either.
If I am back in this neighborhood the next time that I visit Chicago, I would go back to this place.

Ive been to two other Jamaican restaurants and this is definitely a place i highly recommend… the service is excellent and food is very delicious. I always order the Jamaican jerk combination with either the fried chicken or the chicken curry.
