This shoe store has a pretty amazing selection of fun and funky shoes. Many are an exact replica of several high fashion designer’s. Most shoes here are around $ 30 – 50, which is a total steal compared to the originals that run about $ 300 – 500. I’ve purchased many pairs from here, and they have all worn extremely well and surprisingly have outlasted my more expensive shoes. The service is excellent and the staff is always very helpful. If you’re in the Wicker Park area, I definitely recommend checking this place out. Don’t be put off if you don’t find anything, it can be hit or miss, but by your second visit, there will surely be a new and large selection to choose from.

Sunny Shoes is so great! I’ve been here many times and even though the other reviews claim he only has«hooker» shoes, he has great boots that are extremely reasonable especially compared to other shoe stores in wicker park. I found my favorite pair of boots there! The owner is sooo nice and doesn’t pressure you like a lot of other shoe stores such as the shoe department at Nordstrom which is over priced anyways. He gave me a nice discount too which was unexpected but awesome! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for shoes in Chicago. LOVELOVELOVE.

This place rocks! I’ve been a customer for about 12 years now! OK so they do carry large amount of hooker/stripper kind of stilettos… BUT that’s not the only type of shoes they sell. I’ve bought really cute wedges and sandals for summer before and even trendy winter boots that lasted for 2 seasons. The prices are very reasonable, almost cheap. I always stop by when I am in the city to see what I can discover at Sunny Shoes. PS… I promise I am not a hooker.

If you’re moonlighting at a Gentleman’s Club, you’ve probably been to Sunny Shoes. If you’ve been shopping for slutty shoes for your Halloween costume, you’ve probably been to Sunny Shoes. If you’re looking for fantasy black pleather boots to wow your man and you didn’t want to pay a lot of money for them, you’ve probably been to Sunny Shoes. Admittedly, it’s not the classiest joint, but then, it’s not on the classiest strip of Milwaukee, either. Sunny Shoes is kind of dirty, a little grimy and smells of fake leather and desperation. I would never in a million years consider this a location for every day shoe purchases. However, I may or may not have been in the market for a pair of 4-inch yellow heels(don’t even ask) so I knew where to go to find them without breaking the bank. And did I ever. Cheap, crazy, weird shoe success.

Especially for parties,…oh and Halloween… the heels are pretty inexpensive and cute! If you catch the owner, he usually hooks you up with a pair of white jersey sock’s! don’t know why, but I guess that’s his way of saying Thanks!

The shop is tiny, but there are hundreds of options, especially if you’re looking for cheap and/or slutty. I actually bought some cute black wedges for work that were very sedate and proper, but the choices range from shoes suitable for office wear to stripper platforms. I’ll definitely be going back to pick up some sequined espadrilles, too. The one thing I didn’t like was the service. The salesman was very nice, but I felt pressured to buy after I tried on my shoes and they fit. He didn’t even ask me if I wanted them, just put them up on the counter and asked me if I was ready to pay. I tend to want to be left alone until I’m checking out, though, so I doubt anyone else would be as annoyed.

i have never actually BOUGHT anything here. i just like to go in and look at the classy drag queen shoes… and hooker shoes… and apparently pimp shoes… and not pimp like… wow you look so pimp, more along the lines of «nice shoes, bishop don the magic juan! always a fun time! and maybe SOMEDAY, when my hooking career takes off, i’ll get some new plether boots there.
