Subway

I know. It’s Subway. My expectations are low. However, I got a coupon in the street, and being the frugal fashionista that I am, I decided to try their Chopped Salad, to see if the salads are a little more special than their pedestrian sandwiches. I am an equal opportunity luncher, after all.
Wrong.
It seems like a great idea. The Spicy Italian Chopped Salad — all the should be delicious ingredients from their Spicy Italian sandwich, which — if I have to go to Subway — is my go-​to.
So, we get all the ingredients, and put them in a big bowl, and proceed to chop. Except this was way beyond chopped, veering into mashed. The lettuce was pulverized and mushy. This could be a really great salad if the staff would learn how how to actually chop a salad, don’t MASH it. Chop it.
I might go back ‘cos it’s right across the street, but it’s doubtful.

Pretty sure this is the one… I lost the reciept.
Anywho…this place does get slammed in the afternoons… standard size but I seen the lines get big… so dont leave you stuff unattended at the table unless you are with friends. Seating can be challenging but across the street there is an area for the building I see people erating at as well.
Efficient, friendly, good food (I got the Veggie Patty) and even though it was busy… someone was out there wiping down tables.
