We had a training event in the loop. Because of the reduced foot traffic west of State St., many convenience restaurants are closed over the weekend. My task was to provide food on a Saturday, for a group of 42 people. The food had to be delivered. This was a challenge in itself. I went out to and found this Subway. The ordering process was easy. I confirmed with the Subway manager that they could handle a group of this size. He told me, «No worries.» Placed the order two nights before the event. The food arrived on-time, and the order was accurate! The driver(Josh) was patient and friendly. The trainees were pleased with the variety and freshness of the food. Thanks Subway and ! The newest owner has really managed to get this location up & running efficiently! The people are kind & quick! Whenever they are busy the owner hops in to keep everything moving. I also love that they have belly!

Wow. You chose subway when you’re in a food-Mecca like Chicago because you’re in a hurry and you’re hungry. Two guys«working» but stacking chips is way more important than helping the two customers in line, so I guess we’ll just wait 20 minutes for a sandwich…

this subway is the nicest subway i have ever visited!!! the guy who was building my sandwich was incredibly nice, personable, and down to earth. we all know that subway is subway. the smell is familiar, the ingredients are familiar, and the sandwiches are always the same. this place made subway great because of the service!!!

I’m really surprised I never wrote a negative review about this Subway before, because I really loathed it. I called corporate to complain about this location a million times and finally they must have gotten the hint because it closed for a few months and re-opened at the end of August. I’m SO happy, because this location is 1 block away from my apartment and I would have frequented every day for lunch if it weren’t for the scummy location and employees/management. Every person who worked in there was a dirtbag, they were rude, unprofessional and skimpy with the toppings. They wouldn’t listen to you when you called out the toppings and they usually put things on your sandwich that you didn’t even ask for. The man and woman who owned it were so rude and just about every time I came in there, I had some sort of altercation with those fools. I do enjoy Subway and it got so bad that I actually traveled to other locations further away just to avoid this one. I was so pleasantly surprised when I visited this Subway once the renovation was complete. Smiling, happy workers greeted me when I walked in. Everything had been completely re-done and was spotless. I no longer worried about getting food poisoning after eating their sandwiches. Thank you to whoever finally decided to buy those jokers out and turn that Subway into the type of establishment people will want to frequent for their sandwich needs. Phew!

I agree with Sarah. Just was there yesterday. I have never seen a Subway like this one. The food was great but I especially liked the staff. Keep up the good work and I’m sure the neighborhood will notice.

I was walking by and noticed the place being remodeled. I talked to a cute blonde who happens to be one of the new owners. New owners and a full remodel = awesome! I will follow up with this review after it opens.
