The Salon has its own special mood, a very pleasant welcoming atmosphere and stylish design. My respect to the owner. Steven is a Wonderful Hair Stylist, very attentive and accurate. Golden Hands. Looks like I finally found what I was looking for. Satisfied and will recommend to everybody.

Steven is the consummate professional. He is always on-​time; never have to wait more than a few minutes to get started. He uses high quality products and is very skilled with styling different hair types. I have long natural hair and I’ve seen a difference since coming to him. The salon itself is beautiful, always clean; staff offers beverages… I highly recommend this salon!

I’ve been coming to Steven for a few years and love what he has done for my hair. I first met him after a horrible experience with a weave which left my hair extremely damaged and weak. My hair is now strong and healthy because of Steven’s skills and knowledge on creating healthy hair. He’s extremely professional, cares about his clients; and the salon is upscale, stylish and a contemporary detailed loft-​like space.

Steven is great at what he does. Every time I leave his salon my hair is bouncing and behaving! He is very professional and patient with all his clients. Steven is very knowledgeable about the right products for your hair. He doesn’t try to use the same thing on everyone. He gets to know your hair and makes recommendations from that. I have a thin grade of hair and he knows I don’t like a lot of chemicals in my hair. Yet he always finds a way to use natural products that are healthy for my grade of hair. If you haven’t been to his salon yet, you must give it a try. I guarantee you will love what he can do!

King blow-​out! He keeps my hair healthy and listens to my concerns. I believe in supporting small businesses and met Steven at Costco and he asked who did my hair. I’ve been 4 times and always love the results. While there aren’t many «professional» black salons in Chicago, I think his is worth the scary change of what one is «used» to. He is very professional and knowledgable. I’m of Dominican decent and have fine curly hair and am pretty skilled in styling my own hair but he does things I simply cannot do and he gets it right each time. Check into it!

Steven did a fantastic job on my hair beautiful color, with highlights that complement me in every way. I was concerned about getting a trim because sometimes stylist cut too much off however he perfectly cut my layers that had grown out leaving me plenty of length. I will continue to go back.
