I had a decent Sazerac and some beignets for Fat Tuesday but was a bit misled on the special price for the day. I ordered a Sazerac to celebrate New Orleans and the day’s festivities. On multiple sites the Sazerac was priced at $ 7 when in actuality a variation of the Sazerac was priced at $ 7 and the actual Sazerac was priced at $ 12. The menu was did list the variation as the Fat Tuesday special but I really didn’t pay attention to it thinking it was just a name change that a lot of bars do for signature drinks. Nevertheless the Sazerac was pretty good and the bar itself is beautiful but the marketing was a bit misleading. Additionally why wouldn’t the real Sazerac be on the special menu for Fat Tuesday???

Not worth the price at all. We ordered 3 tacos, $ 12, soggy tortillas and a very bland flavor. $ 14 on 6 of the smallest wings I have ever had, hardly any meat, hardly any sauce and they were served with extremely watered down ranch. Service was good, beers were good. Not even close to worth the $ 55 we spent. I will never, ever eat here again.

Bartenders are friendly and food is good. I liked the Buratta and the Short Rib plates

I admit I did not expect much since this was technically a hotel bar, but I was presently surprised. Excellent service. I ordered the Harissa wings and the empanadas, both were very good. Wings could have used a bit more seasoning because the Harissa is more spice without flavor, but otherwise very good. Food was served hot and quick and the bar staff was very friendly.

The pig and fig sandwich was pretty stellar. My only gripe is that I’m not a huge fan of blue cheese and didn’t realize«blue veined brie» meant a hybrid of the two. Other than that, muy delicioso. Would def be back to try their other fare.

Came in for happy hour at 4:30 on a Friday, woman at the bar(manager?) told me no drink specials until 5:00. After paying $ 12 each for a glass of wine, we sat down to see the drink list clearly stating ‘social hour’ 4−7pm. We paid twice the price for no reason. So aggravating. Please learn the hours of your happy hour!

I came in for a Unilocal elite event to check out the remodeling of this hotel and all I can say is WOW! Renaissance has really updated their look — in fact I would never have guessed this was one if the name wasn’t on the door. Highlights… — Ultra contemporary look/feel throughout the lobby — youthful, but not tacky/young — Super spacious lobby bar. I LOVE me some lobby bar — bumping music, but you can still converse, spacious/roomy yet still feels buzzy/electric. — Really friendly and attentive servers — Yummy sliders and beef empanada(or something empanada like) Perfect spot for after work drinks if you live in the loop! Or even pre/post-theater cocktails.

I came here to have a drink with a friend before seeing a show down the street. The servers were attentive and knowledgeable! They also had some delicious cookies for $ 2 and were huge!

We came here for Unilocal’s Burger Binge Week and were not disappointed. We ordered the $ 5 featured burger(2 sliders with ground beef, duroc pork belly, brie, and onion jam), a side of potato chips, and artichoke hearts. The sliders were decently portioned and the onion jam made everything taste fantastic. The burger was well seasoned and the flavors worked really well together. The potato chips came with a mushroom dip that complemented them well, and they were very crispy. I didn’t try the artichoke hearts, but my friends really enjoyed them. I’m giving this a four star review as the burgers were good, but not the best that I’ve had.

Just stopped by here to try their sliders for Burger Week. This spot is located inside the Renaissance Hotel by Wacker and Wabash. When you walk inside the bar/restaurant is right there. I liked the décor and ambience of the place. In regards to the sliders they were good. I got 2 beef with pork belly and onion sauce. I’d definitely come back here for a drink someday.
