One of the slowest Starbucks in the city and the baristas almost always get your order wrong and seem not to care

We go here to get our fave coffee– staff is nice & do a good job.
Three stars is only because they should be charging rent from the people who just sit there, needing to show the rest of us how hard they’re working on their next novel!!! Some of us NORMAL non-​look-​at-​me people would LOVE to sit for two minutes. Plus do they need a seat between each other?!! They’re from the same planet!!!
My solution! Have separate seating sections.

Horrible customer service skills. Management needs to improve trainning the staff at this particular store. I’ve been to Starbucks in many cities worldwide and never encounter such passive aggressive service as the one I have experienced here. Moreover, the seating area interacts with the waiting area, high old stools, some customers plug their computers to be charged dragging cord lines from the wall to the middle of the hallway. The floor and the one single bathroom is usually dirty, sometimes mopping time comes right on rush hours. And yes, rats running around the patio area when it’s getting dark. The store is in the city but closes at 9 p.m. how convenient!

Gotta say, I am a HUGE fan of Starbucks, but was super disappointed at this location. We walked in to buy cake pops and they were sitting on a cart in front of us and they refused to sell them to us because it would screw up their count for the morning. They weren’t closed, it was during normal business hours, I’ve never heard of a business, especially one so dedicated to great customer service, refusing to sell product that’s sitting in the store.

As someone who goes to Starbucks everyday, sometimes more than once, you’d think they would be kind and gracious. Most unfriendly and sloppy workers I have come across and they move like snails. Worst attitudes. The morning girls are great giving them two stars. I would avoid this if I could but it’s across the street from me so convenience wins out. Can’t wait to be near a near one in a few weeks!

This is my go to Starbucks. Everyone is really friendly.
But what happened to all the old workers. There’s really only 3 people who make my drink perfect anymore. 2 in the morning, a small blonde girl and a guy who has tattoos on his arms, and 1 at night, a tall guy with longer hair.
I understand you have to hire new people but the past 2 days my fraps have been meh, and the girl this morning who made my drink didn’t even read the cup because I had asked for caramel drizzle and she didn’t give me any (even though the lady at the register wrote extra drizzle on the cup)
I still am giving this place 5 stars because I’ve had too many good experiences here compared to the bad, AND the employees I mentioned. They’re the BEST!

I’m giving this place 3 stars because you can never tell what mood the staff are going to be in the day you go.
Sometimes the service is standard Starbucks — although busy, friendly with good service. Other days it’s kind of a jumble, but whatever.
Most recently, I went in and I felt like everyone was in a piss-​poor mood. The barista kept trying to give me a mint tea and other drinks that were coming through, although that is not what I ordered — they really had no idea whose drink was whose. On that note, the man behind me ordered one regular and one soy something. The barista had no idea which one was which and suggested that he try them both and figure it out himself. …my friend does not try a seafood gumbo because she simply doesn’t SEE shellfish in it — she orders the way she does for a reason. It was the same case with that man and the staff genuinely did not care — he started getting pretty upset (fair enough) and when he tried talking to more than one barista, I sincerely felt like they went about their business without even listening to him.
I finally got the right drink I ordered and left, although I really wish I stayed to see how the soy/​regular situation was sorted out.
I won’t stop coming here because it’s the closest Starbucks to me, but hope that I never have to see that event again. That being said, I don’t go to this Starbucks as often — the staff’s attitude that day REALLY turned me off.

I usually was always able to get my coffee and breakfast pretty quick at this Starbucks location and every time the line was almost at the door. But this morning with 3 ladies working there and 3 people in line in front of me I was NOT able to get my morning coffee. The girls were taking so long… I waited for 10 min in line and just couldn’t wait any longer. There were just casually walking back and forth and talking to each other. When I finally got to the cashier register she told me «wait a second, I’ll be right back». And there were a lot of people in line behind me. Not a lot of people have tons of time in the morning before work, and I thought I would be fine since I had extra 10 min… Very frustrating.

I go to Starbucks regularly… first time at this location… I was shocked by how rude the staff was! RUDE, RUDE, RUDE!

I really like this place with nice atmosphere friendly happy staff not so crowded unfortunately on the winter time it’s so cold each time I’m visiting this place I’m hoping that this fireplace it’s not only decoration.

I’ve been this this location twice in the last month and each time you could cut the tension with a knife. The staff is rude to each other and just as rude to the customers. My drink order can up wrong because the person taking the order entered it wrong, the barista then acted like I was inconveniencing him by asking him to remake it (to you know, what I ordered) while he shot off a glare to the girl taking the order who just stood there staring at him with her mouth open, unapologetic to him or myself. (I couldn’t tell if I saw drool or not…)
I am a stickler for customer service since that’s the front-​line for any business, and based on what I saw today these employees must of missed the first day of training because the attitude check wasn’t performed on them. If there was leadership present at the time they should be embarrassed for not noticing and ending the noticeable situation.

The staff at this Starbucks is great! Is usually always busy and hard to get an outside or inside sitting. Great place to grab and go but not to sit and relax.

My boyfriend ran out into the rain to get me a grande carmel macchiatto, I get it and take a drink and notice its ²⁄₃^rd full. It was so noticable I texted my bf to make sure he didnt take a big drink from and he bought his own! I did not pay for a grande to get a venti, plus my cup had no markings on it so how am I supposed to know if they made it the way I wanted it. Very dissappointed, I went there last weekend and the ling was soo long only one girl was making drinks while two other employess just walked around the back cleaning. There was 12 cups lined up at one point! Annoyed I will deifinately wait til I get downtown for work to get coffee.

It’s a typical starbucks. Ran through early on a saturday morning and it wasn’t too crowded. A lot of coffee shops in the area so I think that helps. Tried the ham and cheese breakfast sandwich and was pleasantly surprised.

This Starbucks is a great little spot to stop and grab a coffee. The staff are friendly, and there is several options for seating including high tops, a bar by the window, and a few bench style seats. It can get a bit crowded inside due to the small space.

A good people watching place since it’s at a busy intersection of Broadway and Sheridan.
They only have 3 small tables outside so those spots might be taken.
It’s also in the middle of «Boystown» so be prepared to see things you’ve never seen before.
The menu here is pretty much the same as everywhere else. I got something different and tried the captain crunch frap. Prices are always high like normal.

Honestly, it’s a Starbucks. You know the drill. Expensive coffee. Pretentious people on their laptops. Free WiFi.
But, during final exams, I am all too happy to have a Starbucks around the corner. The chairs aren’t soft, there aren’t enough tables, you’ll hear the same album pumped through their speakers like four times– but, it will make you want to get your homework done, and get it done fast.
There is no dilly-​dallying in Starbucks. They load you up with sweet, sweet caffeine and sugar, and then set you loose on their free WiFi. If Starbucks knows anything, it’s how to squeeze some productivity out of these poor saps.
I actually am a fan of this location. The baristas are always nice, it’s not TOO hard to snipe a table if you really want one, and yeah, I like the sugary, expensive drinks.

It’s a Starbucks. They’re all pretty much the same.
So why s am I reviewing this one? Well, cuz this one has a few standout traits and cuz I love you.
It’s our regular spot. We aren’t really even coffee fans but like grabbing a cool drink like a large Frappacino or iced tea for a walk or before we go to Gill Park. Now heres the deets guys and galleons. There’s tons of sketchballs outside even before dawn. I’m not pulling your pubes when I say yesterday at six am outside in minutes we were asked for money 2x, offered weed, and offered alcohol, and witness what looked like a drug deal. IN MINUTES.
Jeepers! On a weekday morning!
Other traits is this Starbucks has a fireplace and the staff is very friendly and a large patio.

Best Starbucks ever. Why? They have a fireplace. So cozy.
Sure, it’s not the largest Starbucks but it’s full of charm. The staff is always pleasant and I love watching Lakeview meets Uptown traffic through the windows.
Maybe someday Starbucks will offer free wi-​fi. Until then, I’m armed with a Verizon wireless card. Take that!
