Super fast service, friendly baristas(with the odd exception of a couple of slow ones who don’t smile at you — one old one that never smiles and one african american lady who really is very slow). They will go the extra mile for you by sometimes bringing the food to you, know you by name and your favorite drink, the view is nice from the seats by the window. Love this place overall.

Decent Starbucks. Because of its small size, its only really good for dropping in and out. There are about 15 seats total(including the window bar seating). It gets very cramped, very quickly. However, the associates here are very down to earth, and the food is always tasty! They have all of the menu items here!

I’ve lived in Streeterville for the past two years, and this Starbucks inside the baby Target is a godsend. The previous closest coffee/expresso place in the neighborhood to me was Dollop, which serves excellent joe. But, I’ve always felt judged by their hipster-ish baristas who I’ve always gotten the youre-wasting-my-time vibe even when they’re nearly devoid of customers. The baristas at this new Starbucks have always been patient, friendly, and real. That’s surprising since they are forbidden to accept tips being inside the Target(I tried to slip them money even without the jar). This Starbucks is also well done, a bit industrial fitting the space and with plenty of seating and large floor to ceiling windows. They were a little slow in the beginning, but I attribute it to some growing pains that’s smoothed out over time. They also have tasty small tapas and a small wine selection. Overall, this Starbucks is another small cog in the Seattle coffee chain with a bit of local flair. It’s not some crazy elaborate Starbucks that I would tell my friends to drive out of their way to go see. But, for a previous«coffee desert» area, this Streeterville Starbucks gets five stars in my book.

Slowest Starbucks I’ve been to. I waited for 20 minutes for a cup of black coffee and the line moved 3 people. I know the store is new, but would have expected a little bit faster of a ramp up.

This location is convenient but is the worst when it comes to grabbing a «quick cup of coffee.» All other Starbucks locations — no matter how long the line — take no more than 10 minutes to be serviced and get out the door. This location takes 25 minutes to make two lattes when there are 3 people in line. Needs massive improvement.

I really like this location! Even though there’s a few coffee options in the area, with at least two Starbucks locations that come to mind right off the bat, this one was definitely a great(and needed) addition to the neighborhood. The other coffee shops are always packed to the brim and this one brings in decent business as well(at least from what I could see). It’s located inside of a target express which makes for a great spot if you want to run some mini shopping errands and then relax with a coffee or something stronger if you so desire-this location serves alcohol! The baristas are always very nice and accommodating and this location is usually very well stocked. I really enjoy the view from this all window location right by the water, reminds me of my home town with tons of by the water establishments. For the reviewer who gave a one star review based on not being let into the staff only bathroom… You’re in a target express store, they have bathrooms for you to use.

Great Starbucks… But there is no restroom for any customers in the entire building, and if you ask a Starbucks Employee to use the the«employee only» restroom, they will not allow you. I was there for over two hours, and he still did not allow it. So, although it is a great Starbucks to sit and relax, don’t plan on staying long if you need to ever use the washroom.

Located inside the Target, this modern Starbucks is a great addition to the Streeterville neighborhood. Friendly and nice baristas. Everyone’s familiar with the coffee at Starbucks so I’ll skip the coffee reviews. The interior is a modern city ambiance lined with windows facing the river on one side and on the other side is exposed brick and exposed piping with cool art décor. Lots of electrical outlets to get plugged in and two small areas with tables for reading and enjoying the view. They serve wine and appetizers such as bacon wrapped dates, truffle mac and cheese for the evening menu. Overall, I love this place, and I’ll be visiting frequently.

Don’t like this place. Getting my drink was fairly quick, got it within 3 min after my ordering took 2 minutes because there was a trainee behind the register, but barista didn’t read label properly and made my drink incorrectly but I was in a hurry so took it anyway. I have yet to find a consistent experience at a Starbucks in the area.

Very bad Starbucks, slow with no customer service. Went a week apart and they hadn’t ordered something simple like a bagel. Not ever going again which is sad cause I liked Starbucks. I know think it’s worth the customer service at a small coffee shop.

This Starbucks is close to my house but I try to avoid this one at all cost. Like many people, I have an addiction… My addiction comes in the form of a Venti Soy, white mocha, stirred with whip. I get one everyday and I’m not afraid to admit it. I’m not a coffee snob… I don’t like Pete’s coffee or any of the other«real coffee» shops around Streeterville. I like Starbucks and that’s it. I don’t mind spending $ 6 a day on a drink because I used to work at Starbucks which helped pay for my college. So I truly appreciate everything the company does for its employees. Now for the review of this location. Thee employees… Are the most unmotivated, non-customer centric, horrible coffee barista’s I have ever experienced. Every time I come here it’s a minimum of 10 minutes in line to order my drink then 15 minutes in line to collect my drink which is usually made wrong. No one has 25 – 30 minutes to wait for their coffee in the morning. Need better employees at this location.

If you pay cash, watch your change! I have been short changed here twice by the cashier. First time she acted like it was a mistake and asked the manager to open the register once I pointed out I gave her a $ 20 for a $ 6 order. Second time she shorted me a $ 5 when she gave change back. I know the second time was intentional(if not both) because as soon as I looked up at her she knew I was missing a $ 5. I can not imagine how many people don’t check there change and get taken advantage of. I called the manager to say that there a problem with the cashier and it appears there has been nothing done. Big disappointment.

It’s hard to fall short of expectations at Starbucks. There is a consistent quality and taste to their products. This establishment is no different. What is surprising is that the service is slow. There are often multiple people behind the counter with long lines of customers and one staff member at the register and one making drinks. Definitely skip if you’re in a hurry

It’s ok! Just an average Starbucks. There are plenty outdoor seats. The indoor space is super small though.

Stopped in this afternoon for an iced coffee! Strong, hit the spot, just what the olé brain cells needed! Lots of seating here — with some outside on the sidewalk.

Today’s Starbucks stinks. It’s not just this store, but the complete switch to computerized machines and«calibration service contracts» that take away the human aspect… from labor right on through to taste. Go ahead, Starbucks, pinch your pennies and serve meager shots, but lose customers for good. I’ve been getting pretty crappy/weak coffee at Starbucks for the past year in one of their small-town shops. They always have the same excuse«it was just recallibrated»(as though that makes it okay that what used to be a good Americano at Starbucks now barely rivals the drip brew of an average diner?!). Just had the same crappy coffee experience at a Streeterville Starbucks this morning. Seems obvious they’ve gone that route to up the profit by reducing the pack of the grind for shots(if we want it stronger, we have to BUY another shot. What they don’t realize is that it’s STILL weak/missing full flavor). The weak shots could be because the machine’s grind isn’t fine enough, or it’s not packed tightly enough, and/or insufficient water temperature. Whatever it is, they’ve destroyed the product. And the fresh taste is GONE. Maybe the grind is done hours in advance. What is also obvious is a drop in patrons. The Streeterville location used to be twice as busy during the morning rush. Noticed 7-Eleven just across the street was crawling with business at the time — now THEY serve better coffee(than Starbucks), and it’s just the old BUN drip! Starbucks no longer means a great cup of coffee. They’ve broadened their focus to include so many menu items to attract a broad market segment/add-on purchases, there’s no longer a focus on great coffee. And bring back the community newspaper rack. That was a great feature. It added to the atmosphere of the shops. Let’s put it this way; we’ve never spent a dime on a NYT, but used to grab the crossword puzzle portion from a recycled issue to do the puzzle and buy additional cups of coffee and sometimes a couple biscotti. We spent more money for store products when there were free papers available.

Unfortunately this is the Starbucks closest to my work. They are always running out of wooden sticks, splenda, half and half, bagels, cream cheese, you name it and they run out of it. Even more frustrating is the inconsistency of drinks. The number of pumps put into a pumpkin spice latte or into any coffee drink depends on the time of day and the barista. Starbucks became as big as it is today because of consistency. Really, that is why any big food chain is successful. I never know what I am going to get when I walk out of here, which is why I started to go to other coffee shops in the area, even if it’s an extra 2 – 3 block walk. Luckily Julius Meinl and Café Decartes are in the area. Also, I don’t appreciate cash register employees coughing all over their hands before handing back my credit card or picking up my coffee cup. It is really unsanitary and I think re-training is needed at this store. Sorry to be blunt, but this is Starbucks. If I am paying $ 4 – 5 for a cup of coffee, I expect it to be clean, sanitary and consistent.

I’m in love with this Starbucks location and come here all the time. I usually stop in every morning before work, and it gets crowded but they do a great job of keeping the line moving quickly. All the employees are really friendly and enthusiastic, and I think it’s awesome that they remember people’s names. Two thumbs way up.
