Besides the crappy location I’ve never seen so many employees accomplish so little. Starbucks you should be embarrassed by this location

The reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars is because although the service is good and the staff are friendly, there are just not enough charging sockets for people to use laptops; especially at the large tables in the front of the store. They recently took out the sockets and replaced it with Powermat devices that can only charge small devices like phones. It is really inconvenient for people who would like to use their laptops who need to charge.

I am thrilled at having a drive through location that’s convenient for my commute and equally as happy to have a location that has good parking and is spacious for when I decide to do a bit of work while enjoying a coffee. I’ve noticed that people complain about the slowness of the drive through… I’ve only ever ordered iced coffees or teas so the service was never slow for me. I’m assuming that getting a more elaborate drink is going to take more time to receive than if you’re ordering fast food from a drive through(just a thought). The inside is usually clean and there’s a lot of seating options and outlets for those that like to work/study in Starbucks. It’s definitely my go to location in this neighborhood.

SOSLOW. And my doubleshot is made wrong EVERYSINGLETIME. I know not many people order it but at LEAST the trainer should know the recipe. I am throughly disappointed in my fellow partners every time I visit this store.

I come here EVERY morning. The staff is GREAT. They try to get everyone’s drinks ready and quick! I love how they greet me and ask how I’m doing. Drive thru is usually crowded better to go inside.

I don’t generally have a lot of expectations when it comes to Starbucks, but this one happens to be a special level of not-great which is sad because it’s the only one I hit on my commute. More often than not, both my food and drink order come out wrong, which is weird in that my order are generally things like«everything bagel with cream cheese» or «ice caramel coffee with cream,» not anything fancy. It also happens to be extraordinarily slow, especially for a Starbucks. If you’ve got time to explain your order 6 times, then wait 5 – 10 minutes for it, then return it because it’s wrong, then I guess you’re okay. More often than not, I just pass.

Service is pretty fast. Big seating area. Drive thru is always crowded during the morning hours but yet moves at a reasonable pace. Staff is always friendly. Bathroom and seating area always clean. No complaints. Favorite Starbucks in west Rodgers Park.

Drive through experience: I got an iced grande soy caramel macchiato with an extra shot. It took a while for it to be made as always and I’m the only one there. When it was ready, I was handed a sticky and dripping cup. He didn’t bother to add another cup or hand me some napkins. I had to hold it at the top to avoid most of the stickiness. When he saw that he still didn’t ask and it was obvious what I needed but he didn’t care. I had to ask for napkins. He handed it over and walked away mumbling have a nice day. Worst drive through ever.

A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks… This one is just like any other. The baristas are friendly, and offered to brew a pour over cup of a roast they didn’t have brewing. Their pour over technique is lacking… But at least they offered. Not a whole lot of power outlets at this location. However, it’s in my neighborhood, they have a drive thru, and free parking.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee. While paying, I noticed that I had a paper cup in the cup holder from the other day. Needed to make room for my new coffee, so I ask the Starbucks rep if he would take my paper cup refuse and he declined by saying that he’s not allowed to take any garbage from customers. What? I said that I normally wouldn’t ask this but there weren’t any trash cans outside the business.(I looked, NOT A SINGLETRASHCAN anywhere on the property, front or back of the store.) I said back to the rep that maybe they should think about purchasing a trash can or two before making a rule like that. He said he would mention it to the owners. Aren’t all Starbucks corporate owned? Also, if I’m paying TOP dollar for a cup of coffee, THEABSOLUTELEASTTHEYCANDOISTAKE A PAPERCUPANDTHROWITOUT! Put that in your tip jar Morning Barista! This new Starbucks has a lot to learn! NOT A FAN!

New Starbucks… great! Drive thru… Convenient for my quick and lazy days… Service absolutely sucks!!! I have both walked in and driven thru. The staff is uninterested in good service and more interested in each other, wiping counters, or anything else. It is so disappointing.

This review is only for the drive thru, as I’ve never been inside. The baristas are very nice, the drinks are solid Starbucks quality, but OMG — the drive thru is soooo sllloooowwww.

I came in here early one morning to buy a gift card for a coworker during a morning run. This is a great location. The one on Lincoln Ave. is super, super crowded so it’s really nice they have a shiny new location to help disperse the traffic a bit. The cashier who helped me was super sweet. Glad we have another Starbucks in the ‘hood. Does that mean our neighborhood is «comin’ up»? ;0)

I am torn between 3 – 4 stars. The positive is by far the nicest barista Née Née. She is so cheerful and helpful. I came in to redeem by free birthday drink and couldn’t get the app to work but she comped my drink anyway. Excellent customer service will keep me coming back. The negative is a bit random but a downfall. I walk to the store a lot(one of the only things in the hood that we can walk to). I have two kids in a double stroller. They built the doors to be completely inaccessible. You can not fit a stroller and I am sure not a wheelchair. That’s a huge bummer. It’s brand new. They should’ve thought that through.

A new Starbucks on Western, with a drive-thru(drive-through?), AND a parking lot. I mean, it’s a Starbucks. I am not ashamed of my love of Starbucks(have you TRIED the new iced peach green tea lemonade?!). This one has a nice big table where I did a few hours of work today, and plenty of outlets along the perimeter to charge your electronics. Baristas are friendly. Music is annoying. The outdoor patio seating is nice, but I prefer to hide inside and put up with the music rather than the humidity.
