Starbucks

Great people, great atmosphere. Always happy with my drink and or food. Makes my day at work a little easier with help from my starbucks peep across the street from Epic burger. Close and awesome!

I regret letting the barista with tattoos and a mustache be as much of a douche to me as his appearance suggested he would be. He could be having a bad day, true, but at least you could get the order right if you’re going to opt for being rude.

Nice and big inside and very pleasant staff. Parking is horrible in this area though.

Staff is always rude. With the difficulty parking here, their attitudes make this a no go! I was short a penny for my order today and I was out of luck.

Stop in quite often before work. Today I had forgotten my wallet and was using what cash I had in pocket. The bill was $ 3.04 and all I had was $ 3 and shown the clerk. His reply was «you’ll have to panhandle for the rest». Then put the product back on shelf. Guess what I don’t have to panhandle and I don’t have to buy from Starbucks any longer. Arrogance is not a characteristic I’m looking for in my food vendor.

My only complaint is that the manager is often catty with her employees in the morning. The baristas handle it well though and are always smiling. It’s often a hectic environment, but the staff does their best to provide great customer service anyway. I know it’s not easy, but this is a great team!

Over populated with the LP homeless crowd. Scam is to pull a used coffee cup from the trash and get free refills. One «patron» is constantly in the store sleeping and kibbutzing with the «security guard» who does little but read the Bible while on the job.

It’s filthy, baristas are clueless, drinks are often undrinkable, service is ridiculously slow. Five minutes when you’re one of two waiting for a drink? Employees seem completely untrained and do not do anything according to Starbuck’s standards. Isn’t that why we pay for Starbuck’s? Because no matter where you go, a skinny vanilla latte is always the same, delicious drink? Not here, not ever. This location is one block from my home. I now have to go an extra five blocks to get to a better Starbucks or switch to another brand altogether. Corporate should close this location if they can’t get it right.

Parking sucks. It’s so busy it’s a madhouse (it’s right by the red line so there’s a lot of traffic). Drinks are always yummy. Breakfast sandwiches were ok, nothing spectacular but they held us over. A bacon and egg sandwich which had maybe one piece of bacon and a veggie egg sandwich with maybe one red pepper as the veggie. Nonetheless, I’m sure we’ll be back.

This Starbucks is huge and awesome! High ceilings, huge windows to light up the place, and lots of seating! Did I mention there is a parking lot here too? That is a rarity in Chicago. I will definitely be back to get in an intense study session.

Great team and quick service but they have a real problem with the local homeless population. They use the restrooms (which are unlocked) to wash up which sometimes creates an odor issue that you can smell all over the café. Managers seem to be at a loss as to how to deal with this issue so it just continues. The local security guy as this particular location seems to concern himself more with the traffic in the small parking lot than the store proper.

Worst service ever and had a horrible stomach pain from the coffee. I would rather make instant coffee than this place.

I was really please with this Starbucks. My coffee was just how I ordered it and this store offers plenty of seating for you to stay and enjoy your coffee. The staff was friendly and my coffee was ready quick!

This one has a fireplace! Nicely sized for relaxing with a drink yet able to handle the morning rush with ease.

Probably the worst Starbucks I have ever been too. Came here with 4 people and and we were going to get the Caramel Macchiato or Hazelnut Macchiato that was free. My gf ordered the Hazelnut Macchiato first and he rung her out and it came out to 0.00 $. Then he asked us if we were all going to get the free drink and I said yes. He then told me to wait and walks back to speak to his manager. He comes back and said he can’t give us the free drinks without the coupon physically being there. I pulled up the coupon from my phone and I didn’t really want anything to drink, but I thought since it was free, why not? So I gave the coupon to my friend and he used it. The cashier could have easily entered the code, which is the same code for everyone. Also, we all had internet on our phones and could have easily pulled up the coupon, but we figured we didn’t want to deal with these incompetent people. Really? How hard is it to just give us all our free drink. It is the same code for every customer with this promotion going on.

My favorite Starbucks in the whole city! I rarely have a bad experience here. All the employees are so friendly and take care of their regulars in addition to their brand newcomers. I can rave about the staff, quality and atmosphere of this place all day but I’m trying to keep this short so I won’t. Just remember I’m a very picky and hard to please person and this place never has a problem accommodating me! LOVE {3

Huge Starbucks where it is always packed with students and adults alike.
The staff was very nice in preparing a large order of coffee and pastries.
I do wish the free parking lot was easier to see from the other side. I got the boot for parking in the wrong parking lot. $ 140 surprise coming back to my car :/

When it comes to Starbucks, you know what you’re getting. The menus at each franchise are just about identical, but there are distinct differences that make some branches more favorable than others. This review is meant to reflect what makes this Starbucks unique more so than the company as a whole.
This location is nice. Though it looks like a new Starbucks location will be going in at the North/​Clybourn red line stop, for now this is pretty much the only coffee shop in the neighborhood. I have always found the staff to be friendly, the seating area hospitable, and the clientele more pleasant than many other locations.
For frequent coffee drinkers, I also strongly recommend pursuing a Starbucks Gold Card if you do not already have one. By simply reloading and reusing a gift card, you can easily reach Gold status. By doing so you get a free drink or food item after you’ve racked up 12 «gold stars» (items purchased).

Quite spacious but not very comfy. Has the usual Starbuck products. This location is pretty efficient compare to others. Whie in line a girl asked for my order and started on it so by the time I got to the register, my order was ready.
They have free internet +1 star. Good place to hang if your car is being serviced at one of the nearby dealers.
