I like to ring in the New Year with going through all my crap. Out with the old, in with the new!
Some stuff I didn’t feel like freecycling and it seems like I always take my stuff to Brown Elephant so we switched it up and headed it to St. Vincent DePaul’s.
The lady was genuinely grateful for our donation and kept thanking us, which was sweet. There was some quality stuff in there so it was nice that she appreciated it. Sometimes the workers (volunteers?) at Brown Elephant seem a little annoyed when you drop off stuff (maybe because they get bombarded with so much stuff?). Anyhoo, St. Vincent’s was a nice change.
Call ahead before you head there to make sure they are open. Entrance is on Webster.
