Snyx

Snyx is Chicago’s première sneaker boutique. They have by far the largest selection of hard to find sneakers in the Chicago area. Go to any of the high end sneaker galleries in the Wicker Park neighborhood including Akira or St. Alfred’s and you won’t find a fraction of the shoes that Snyx has in store.
NOTE: Snyx is in Roseland which was left behind in the 80s and is a relatively dangerous neighborhood. The store is a big beautiful location on a main commercial street but shoppers should be apprehensive about even driving through the neighborhood and personally I would not be comfortable parking any further away than directly in front of the store. This is NOT a neighborhood you want to be walking in or taking public transportation, certainly not if you plan on leaving with a pricey new pair of kicks.
If you’re ambitious about finding just the right pair of sneakers and can practice safe traveling tactics when in a bad neighborhood, going to Snyx can make for an adventure with a great reward for doing so.
