Smoke Shop Pipes and Stuff X

I really like this place and will come here for my hooligan needs whenever they occur. The person behind the counter at my most recent visit was so so so nice and gave me a deal on the items I purchased. It is always nice to come to a smoke shop that has everything you need.

I came here with a bunch of friends over the weekend. We meant to go to the one on Milwaukee but stumbled upon this one first.
Although the worker gave us a discount on the hookah and bundled some things, she never took her ear off her phone. Literally. We would ask a question, she would answer it with the phone over her ear, walk back to the counter and continue the conversation.

Quite price but having and excellent and helpful customer service. Get stuff only here

I come here weekly as a routine. Great knowledgeable staff. Great location. My fav smoke shop in wicker park.

Went in on a Sunday night looking to buy a nice glass pipe. I took forever to make a decision, but the girls were very helpful!
I got my pipe and my case for $ 55.00! Couldn’t be happier!

BEST SMOKE SHOP IN CHICAGO! The staff is super kind and genuine — they know when to step in and ask you if you need help and when to back off and let you do your thing. I’ll never go anywhere else again. They are constantly offering discounts and deals just because. The staff is very friendly and again, attentive when you want/​need them to be. Also very knowledgable about the products and beyond, so helpful! GO TO SMOKE SHOP PIPES AND STUFF IN WICKER PARK!!! TRUST ME.
I went to «Secrets» (Lakeview) only based on Unilocal reviews /​but WOW what a mistake.
The people who work here are rude and act annoyed when someone has a question and basically roll their eyes when a customer walks in. They aren’t helpful at all, they make you wait and wait while they finish personal phone calls or conversations about ‘last night’ with other employees. Besides the awful bedside manner of these people, the prices are way too expensive given the cheap quality of their products. I bought 2 identical glass one-​hitter pipes from there: the first one I took out of the bag when I got home and let it roll onto the counter: it shattered. I brought it back the next day and asked if they could replace it (it was $ 45!!) they said nope can’t take it back it’s broken I was like ‘I was literally just here 12 hours ago, you sold this to me, I know you remember — it’s not like I’ve had this for years’ still they made me buy a new one. I did, and within a week same thing — completely shattered for no reason. I also bought a small grinder during this 2^nd trip that they told me was ‘the best of the best’ — it’s this small silver one and it was $ 50; whereas the same silver one next to it by a different brand was $ 35. I asked about the difference and they gave me some line about how it’s higher quality blah blah — THAT is the purchase I regret the most. The thing is a piece of (sh*t). It grinds things to a powder basically so it all falls right through the pipe when you’re trying to load it, not to mention it dries everything out horribly.
My previous pipe before I went to this store I had for over 5 years — it had been dropped and this and that and never broke once.
So for the third one I went to Smoke Shop Pipes and Stuff X in Wicker Park — the same pipe there was $ 25 — $ 20 less than what Secrets charges for the exact. same. thing. And the grinder? I got a larger size one, it was $ 30, and it is amazing.

ridiculous prices. terrible service. ew.

Bottom line: The only thing good about this place is location.
Would give half a star if I could, items are way too pricey. And service is below average. Will not shop here again, even if someone took me here and said I could get whatever I wanted.
