I just leveled up. Ain’t much eye contact till I got here. Love the vibe and the helpfulness. Dynamite red velvet cake and beautiful people. I wish I could be a regular.

They sent me a discount for my birthday that I signed up for and I was a bit angry. Why would someone as popular as they are think that getting half price on a single cup of coffee is a birthday discount-free would have been better, but half off of 2.00 dollars… it was an insult… and believe it or not, I like this place.

Such a great place! It’s small, but has lots of character. I recently went for a meeting and it was the perfect location. Free parking, excellent customer service, and i highly recommend the Obama Mocha. :)

The atmosphere is great, the people nice but I only give it 3 stars because the lattes and coffees are horrible. Every time the milk is scalded and not prepared properly at all. I’ve given it a few tries but it always falls short.

I stopped into Sip & Savor when I had some time to kill traveling between meetings in Hyde Park and the Loop. It’s a nice large space with plenty of seating and good wi-fi and I was able to get work done comfortably. The Chai Latte was very good — better than my go-to Starbucks.

Delicious mocha latte and wonderful croissants. I don’t order much else there, but the two things I do get are pretty great. Every time I go in there’s only one person working so it’s a little slow moving. Allow yourself 15 minutes to be waiting for your order if someone’s already placed theirs. Overall, it’s a good atmosphere and a fine coffee shop.

Metaphorically speaking«death to Starbucks». This is one of my new fav’s coffee houses within my area. The atmosphere is really relax. You will not experience the noisy traffic like you do at other coffee houses. I love the various artwork displayed throughout the shop. The drink menu is easy to follow and has a great layout. This establishment has a coffee bar. There were only a handful of desserts and pastries available. The barista was very nice and greeted me when I enter the establishment. This venue accepts credit cards. I also saw sitting out in the back. I ordered a medium raspberry white mocha with a extra shot which was delicious. Although I thought the drink was a little on the sweet side. Basically today I skip on my morning pastry. I think I will be returning to this establishment again in the near future.

Yesterday I was at the Ain’t She Sweet Café next to this place, and I saw this place and thought I should I try it because I’ve never seen it before. I’m so happy I did! I got a major sweet tooth and drove over since it’s close. The atmosphere is so nice, clean and inviting. There’s even a cool bar counter where you can sit and have your drink, that’s something I don’t see in many coffee places. I got a shake mocha and a chocolate chip muffin, they were delicious! I will definitely come back, this area needs more places like these!

I am surprised that this place has so few reviews, hopefully it will get more positive love on Unilocal! This by far is the best coffee shop in Bronzeville, way better than Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts, with baristas that care about their customers as much as they care about a perfect cup of coffee. It is clean, it has lots of space for people to work or chat. The walls are well decorated and put together that creates a vibrant stress free space. People were here working, socializing or just having a moment of peace. There is also some really great art for sale on the walls, and their website makes it easy for artist to get in touch with managers about putting their art up. This is a real engaging third space that I think can only have positive impacts for the community. The first time I went I had their lemon black tea, it was good, and not so over-brewed that it needed sugar to sweeten it! I also went again to try their espresso, it was on par with the rest of the city. The only thing I personally don’t like is that they don’t have mugs for people drinking at the shop. I believe that coffee and especially espresso drinks are more luxurious in a mug, as well as less wasteful and more environmentally friendly. However, this is not a reason to pass this place, if you are in the area it is worthwhile to go to Sip and Savor for sure.

I enjoyed my danish and coffee and Steve was a cool barista. The place is nice. They do have seating and a restroom and they have a pretty good variety of teas as well as coffee drinks. They also have muffins, danishes and when I was there, carrot cake. It’s good to see it in the area.

Naming names this time: Kenneth, Steve, Chris, and Yasmeen! Love these baristas! Trez has assembled a talented crew, uses the most premium flavors and beans, and you can’t afford to miss the 5star rewards program. Simply the best. The coffee for home tastes great, but I’d have to be a magician to get it to taste as good as it does at Sip & Savor.

I went here today based off the positive reviews. Also, I have been looking for some coffee alternatives in the Bronzeville/Hyde Park area. Starbucks is expensive and out of the way(Also, Starbucks has been lacking in the area of creativity). Dunkin Donuts is good for those who like plain olé coffee and nothing else(not me). McDonalds taste more and more watered down. This is where Sip & Savor comes in to save the day! First off, the aura and environment is comfortable and sleek. The owner is a good man who cares about his customers and displayed exceptional professionalism. They have an exciting spin on their signature coffee selection by offering some flavors that sound delish. I was throughly impressed. The prices are reasonable. They also have a loyalty card program where you can earn awards and points for every dollar you spend. Support this wonderful business, I surely will!

I’m a loyal starbucks customer, so I’m thrilled at the fact that i wrestled myself out of my normal habit to try out Sip & Savor and got rewarded by an awesomely hot cup of banana caramel soy latte that got DELIVERED to my table. The service was great — shop run by one attentive guy when I was here. Wifi works great. Plenty of places to sit(unlike starbucks). It’s a bit off the beaten path but I’ll be one to help cut a swath to the doors by spreading the word. only complaint is that it’s a bit chilly in here on this cold day. If the owner is reading this, please open up another spot somewhere between 31st and 35th St in Bronzeville. oh — this delicious drink is CHEAPER than Starbuck! what?!

Great atmosphere with beautiful artwork throughout the space. Very warm and welcoming. It’s one of my favorite spots to work in Bronzeville.

Great atmosphere, great coffee, and good pastry. I was caught off guard paying $ 7 for coffee and a Danish, but for all intents — I would have paid the same at one of the«mainstream» coffee houses. The area has an ongoing gentrification process, that is progressing slowly, so it can overshadow the aesthetic that gives this cozy coffee shop its flair.
