Just heard that this place finally had its license revoked because its seedy clientele was illegally firing-off guns. Now it’s CLOSED for good, R.I.P.

Siblings is truly a neighborhood bar and could become one my favorites. The venue has your pretty typical dive bar look and feel, dark, long bar, pool table up front, couple of TV’s with sports and a smallish dance floor area at the back. On a Wednesday night there were some really cool disco tracks mixed by the DJ and some occasional dancers tearing up the floor. The crowd is probably the most diverse I have seen in a Chicago bar, it is a truly cohesive and real mix. 40’s to 50’s crowd, working class, local and real. Not to mention super friendly and welcoming. Surprised how many people on a Wednesday night, it was hopping and we could not find a seat on the long bar. Did not delve too far into the beer options. On draft fairly standard for a local bar range, $ 2 for a domestic drafts and the special $ 5 Long Island tea — is this 1980? There is food available, we came in after dinner so are unable to provide any guidance — the the specials seemed super reasonable price wise. Service just great, again very welcoming for new customers. We even had the day bar lady introduce herself and ask us to come back soon — how good is that! Will be back for sure.

hidden gem, no nonsense, solid food and pretty good specials. Stopped in on a wed night and was surprised to see a pretty decent crowd. Had 20 bucks in the wallet, grabbed 3 beers, an LIT and some pretty good wings for under 15 bucks. Friendly bar tender no attitude and pretty cute.

I don’t like this bar. The crowd here is weird and the food sucks. I will never go here again.

This is one of the few bars in the area. A nice place to go hang out. It has a very comfy-sort of atmosphere and a great crowd. Check out their weekday specials — they’re usualy great!
