Wonderful customer service from Gail in selecting frames and explaining insurance coverage. The doctor gave me the best I exam I have ever had — very thorough! Schwartz Eye Care is a great small business with excellent services.

Had prescription lenses put into my Eye Bobs and am loving them! I’m getting all kinds of compliments. The excellent lenses and reasonable price made it a 5 star experience!

This place comes highly recommended to those who have All Kids health insurance. After calling several places around the city, this was the only office that included an eye exam AND a pair of glasses which are covered under the insurance (all other places only included the exam). I loved my experience at this office! It was efficient and the staff was super friendly. My contacts were ready in just a few days and I can’t wait to pick up my eyeglasses. Thanks Dr. Schwartz!

BEWARE this place has really bad customer service issues! I walked in this morning to have an eye exam and a male employee, at the front desk was unwelcoming, unprofessional and offensive.
I handed him my insurance card and ID, when he finished with it, he slide it across the counter to me. When I mention it was unprofessional and rude he didn’t apologize. However he became very agitated as though, this is his normal everyday working manner.
I asked for my insurance card back and told him I will go somewhere else and will be informing my insurance company with a complaint.
I will NEVER recommend this place to anybody! You have been warned:(

No complaints here… Had a great experience. Staff was very polite, Doctor was very professional and very polite as well. Service was great. Prices were okay, same as any other clinic, but i was offered a rebate :-). So I saved money. Got my contacts quick. Overall, great experience.

After having a bad experience at a chain eye care outfit, I was referred to Schwartz Eye care by a friend. I showed up with no appointment and explained my situation and how the other place lost my special order glasses. The guy that I talked to (I think his name was Mario), helped me out. He went through the whole deal and explained my insurance and what it cover and what my out of pocket cost was going to be. After I agreed, I waited a bit and was examined and got some contacts while my glasses were ordered. I left a very happy camper. The staff was friendly and Mario was very thorough. Pretty stoked about my friend telling me to go here. This my new eye care place.

I have always received excellent service here. The doctor is very nice and professional and the staff is great. My only criticism would be that they don’t have a huge choice of frames, but it’s a smaller, independent place, so I’ve never had a problem.

The first time I went in I asked about pricing for contacts and the guy behind the counter seemed a little out of his element. Apparently they were understaffed that day and he wasn’t normally in that position. He was apologetic, and eventually found out what I needed to know. The place wasn’t all that glamorous either. It looked a little Mom & Pop, but I kind of like that, so I went back.
And I’m glad I did. I went in for an an eye exam and was literally back out on the street with a new set of contacts in my eyes in less than ½ an hour, and without ever feeling rushed. They were much more conservative in their claims about how long a pair of disposables should last than other places. They didn’t count the first pair that they gave me to try in the sets of lenses that I was buying in the package deal (so they basically threw them in for free), and they actually charged me LESS than they quoted because they had a sale coming up a few days later and decided to give me the sale price.
You just can’t get that kind of treatment at a big chain. I’ll definitely be back.
